    Request for 2 additional variants of the High Tech Door...


    1. Locked when Redstone power is applied to the lower middle block - Catch turns red instead of default green, Can only be opened by hand when green - adding power closes and locks it.

    ^ Useful for securing labs, air locks etc.


    2. Redstone powered only - Catch is red unless power is applied to the lower middle block - Can't be opened by hand.just like an Iron door.

    ^ Useful for Elevator/Lift shafts, securing vaults, etc.


    I hope these could be added, and/or the Door Factory could be adjusted to make the custom option variants with both the High Tech and the other Big Door 3 x 3 Variants.

    Easy enough...

    1. Add Sharks

    2. Have sharks in water chunks attack (wooden) boats

    3. Have sharks in deep water attack players in survival mode (Low air should kill the player 1st)

    4. Dolphins are known to protect humans from sharks, so why not have Dolphins protect the player and Villagers in shallow water


    Shallow water being more than river depth but less than deep water (could be sunlight penetration controlled)

    Additionally it could require a minimum of a 3x3 or 5x5 square of water for sharks to spawn preventing them in 1 block wide waterfalls.

    @csb987 Just a thought on the 'unlocked' teleporters...


    If they could optionally act as a single chunk loader* (locked won't matter as they are outbound only)


    This should help those with the memory but network loading lag, to allow the arrival terrain to be pre-loaded prior to their arrival and helping prevent teleporter loading disconnects.


    *LoadChunk as a config option, off by default

    Correct version has to be installed to both client and server.

    Couple of issues noted between the 1.8 and 1.11+ versions...

    • The 1.8 ones used to work through carpet.
    • Trapdoors on them used to allow Inbound when closed (Trapdoor blocked Outbound) and Outbound when open (Open Trapdoor was at Inbound blocking height)

    If you can fix these it would be appreciated.


    Suggestions:

    1. A 3rd variant that allows hoppers to load and empty it's destination item inventory, along with a comparitor I/O redstone output option.
    2. Downwards facing arrival only option by placing a Teleporter facing down

    By combining these and the trapdoor trick a teleport platform could be made, being able to switch the outbound destination item whilst keeping the return item (downwards facing Teleporter) the same.

    Suggestion:

    You could add a config option to 'hide' the hard coded defaults if at least '1' custom model is defined,

    this way removing the player defined or resetting the config would automatically restore the defaults.

    Using: Windows 10, Java 1.8.0_102, Forge: 1.10.2 - 12.18.1.2073, MalisisAdvert 1.9.4-4.0.1 & MalisisCore 1.9.4-4.1.1
    I get this:


    To me both the Save and Close options are off screen and it looks like it is using a default system font rather than a Minecraft small one, sadly rendering the advert block useless to me.

    Just suggesting that the zoom mode have an option to use WorldMap for the zoomed map if both are installed (additional integration).

    Just a suggestion:

    Your MiniMap has a Zoom option, couldn't that be rigged to use WorldMap instead?

    Obviously defaulting to it's basic zoom if WorldMap isn't installed.

    I'm aware of this issue. Spawned / teleported golems from his mod do not recieve the IExtendedEntityProperties associated with my teleporter.     Couldn't your teleporters be adjusted to NOT teleport entities missing those variables?

    I'd gathered that, and when forge was crashing due to a MOD GUI issue with the core's variant, disabling the core's hook to forge's own (added) MOD GUI removed the crash for me.

    The crash is in Ordinastie's Malisis code not Xaero's Minimap
    And for reference you really need to update some of your mods...
    MalisisDoors 1.7.10-1.12.1 requires MalisisCore 1.7.10-0.13.1 for Minecraft 1.7.10

    Try updating those and trying it, the errors should of been fixed in the later versions.

    Wasn't going to go there, but note the upper post I quoted, "latest forge and optifine", "minecraft 1.8.8" in the crashlog, hence I borrowed your quote about the issue to settle that one.

    I then showed how to get the latest 1.8 forge (Which there is an Optifine for) and noted after that that I was not aware of a 1.8.8 version of Optifine that was forge compatible at that time.

    Correct Internet Sarcasm but misdirected, thanks for your humorous reply anyway.
