    It is true; we've been dealing with an issue that unfortunately has been with us for a while, and that is the fact that we are having trouble finding coders willing to help finish our work after the ones we had couldn't stay in the project. However, I have been trying to find one recently and hopefully we get back on track, but I really can't tell you when that's happening.

    There has been some new research on sounds made by prehistoric animals lately and we're thinking about implementing them to our mod..

    Honestly, the CGI used in Jurassic World was very detailed, but like most of today's CGI (regarding living, moving organisms), it was too "smooth" and "fluid", making it seem unreal. I think the original movie's CGI may have been actually the opposite, and one of the reasons why it holds up to this day. I just hope if they're using it full-time now, it is like the original: more organic and real-looking.

    Also, if these news are completely true, I am a bit heartbroken, because I'm an enormous fan of pratical effects. I mean, CGI can be incredible and you can do things we can yet never achieve with pratical effects, but pratical effects are REAL. They're simply real. Tom Cruise was actually on a plane in Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation! In Mad Max: Fury Road, they exploded a ton of cars and people actually jumped from place to place like that! They could've done it using CGI, but it was real, and that's amazing to me.

    Well, our progress is good as usual. We have been slightly slowed down due to Blade's computer needing fixing, but it is merely a temporary obstacle. In the mean time, some concepts and animations -which must remain nebulous for the time being- have been developed to ensure the consistency of the mod's healthy state. We'll let the community know of any news, if such action is allowed, any time soon!







    ... What? I did not look up fancy words, okay?! ... Yeah, I did...

    I think he was vaguely quoting what Dr. Alan Grant said in Jurassic Park III, "What John Hammond and InGen did at Jurassic Park is create genetically engineered theme park monsters! Nothing more and nothing less."... Which is sorta true, considering DNA from frogs and other animals were used in their creation, making them not 100% true Dinosaurs.

    That would explain why most are so different from their real life counterparts, but it's not necessarily a bad thing... It gives the creatures their own special style we know and love from Jurassic Park, as well as various possibilities to add creativity (like having a camuflaging Carnotaurus). I like it a lot, in fact.

    If you're reffering to Wave 2 when talking about the "last wave"... yes, there will be more creatures in future waves, as the mod is still very active and currently in development.
    PaleoCraft can be used with Biomes O' Plenty, but some things occur at the momment (some PaleoCraft biomes like the PaleoSea some times appear in the Overworld).
