I was thinking that Notch should add Campfires to Minecraft, mostly just for decoration but you can add ideas for extra things it can do. Basically, you craft 4 sticks in a square to make a "Bundle of Sticks", then, you craft the actual campfire with the "Bundle of Sticks" in middle square, then cobblestone al around it to make it. Then once you place it, you use flint and steel to ignite it. You can turn it on and off this way. Thats my idea. please vote on whether you like it or not.
So I am about to buy a Macbook because school starts soon. I would like to know whether Minecraft will run on Medium/High settings (smoothly of course) on a Macbook Air 11" with 2GB of ram. If it won't, thats fine. Ill pay the extra money for the PRO and that way I can have a silly DVD drive and 4GB of ram. Just would like to know if someone could test it on all settings and post the FPS. Thanks :smile.gif:
I have a LB Photo Realism texture pack which I downloaded the lowest resolution (64 x 64) and whenever I load that texture pack, only the background shows then it flashes the crashing info then does a black screen, the only way I can stop it crashing is to delete the texture pack, please help (I don't know how to upgrade my RAM, I tried using my USB Flash drive for more RAM and it still said 4.00 GB RAM)
I don't wanna post my clock speed or experience index right now because this isn't a tech support forum, but if you ask I will tell
