Nov 8, 2010Thank you, I plan to write a post for the more passive one when I get time. Pictures won't come until I get around to it, or if somebody else would like to make a graphic model for it, that will also be appreciated.Posted in: Suggestions
Nov 8, 2010Bullrush Lizard - (Mountains and Grasslands)Posted in: Suggestions
Behaviour: Hostile / Territorial
Description:Brown medium sized Lizard that features a bulky rounded head enabling it to ram its enemies. Four short and stubby legs, a long tail about the size of the body, and they can move in between spaces with at least one block height and 5 blocks long. They have 15 hearts worth of health.
Drops: Bullrush skull cap (stronger than a leather helmet, weaker then an iron helmet, special ability is to avoid gravel and sand fall damage from above)
Speed: Medium (Human running speed)
Lifestyle: Bullrush Lizards live in solitude in areas with dirt and mountains, they will pursuit enemies until they are off their territory and then they will walk back to their spawn point. Their territory is around 25 blocks x 25 blocks worth, they never leave it and it is very rare to find two lizards within a 100 block range of one another. If the player walks behind an obstacle or the bullrush can't see any threat to it's territory, it will not attack. It attacks anything from enemy mobs (such as zombies) to passive mobs (such as pigs), and any dropped items will collect in the creature's personalized inventory (all of which can be obtained via killing it). Arrows are useless against such a beast as it has hard leather and bone scales, a sword or pickaxe however will easily penetrate. They feature 15 hearts making them harder to kill than most, however they are targetted because their skull caps are very durable and make great combat headwear.
Whiplash Lizard - (Deserts)
Behaviour: Neutral / Hostile When Attacked
Description: Long and slender, this lizard skims the sands of the desert with ease. It even tunnels through sand, being the only creature in the game with the ability to make standing sand tunnels, it makes incredible patterns throughout the biome. It has small legs, very long and narrow body and a coned head for digging. Its tail is around 6 blocks long, and its body only 3, making this the longest lizard at 9 blocks long. It has only 5 hearts, but its speed can deter nearly any predator.
Drops: Whiplash tunnel armor (special armor that allows you to get an increase in speed over a 10 block long flat or plain)
Speed: Very Fast (Unique speed only credited to this mob)
Lifestyle: These lizards will never stick to a single place for long, and as such, they are known to be very hard to capture or kill. They will tunnel through sand and they leave amazing hollow patterns throughout deserts, however they will eventually collapse if too many tunnels have been created. They are known for unpredictable u-turns and can ram into an enemy for massive damage. At full speed they can almost kill a Bullrush lizard with a single headbutt, however they take massive amounts of land with no obstacles to reach full speed (around 50 blocks of sand around 5 blocks deep). When cornered they hardly do one heart's worth of damage, and can be successfully killed for their scale armor, which gives a speed boost over long flats (10 blocks of flat without any 45+ degree turns or any jumps).
Underminer Lizard - Grasslands, Mountains and Deserts - Underground
Behaviour: Passive / Cowardly
Description: Big lizards are slower and more prone to get attacked while they are sun baking by groups of faster mobs, so this herbivore found a way to avoid attention while still gathering warmth from the sun, it lives underground partially. Its bare back will stays above ground and it will remain like that until attacked. It is hardly ever noticed by mobs, except the Bullrush or in rare cases a Whiplash may collide with it. They are 6 blocks wide and 7 blocks long, making them big fellows, they feature 20 hearts making them the hardest creature to kill in Minecraftia.
Drops: Underminer claws (used instead of a pick axe, can gather almost every mineral except obsidian, very rare drop however)
Speed: Very Slow (Hardly ever moves, when it does it never gets far)
Lifestyle: The Underminer will spend days underground collecting enough sunlight to pick itself up out of the ground to walk around to a new area, when they walk to a new location (usually only 25 blocks away) they will replant themselves into the ground and resume sunbathing. When attacked they will try and startle their pray with a dust cloud, it only blinds the enemy for 5 seconds, but such an attack could buy the Underminer enough time to replant itself a few more blocks away. Another important thing to note is that the bare back of an Underminer changes slightly to fit with the surroundings, yet its odd shape makes it noticeable on the plains.
Nov 8, 2010bah, I guess I will attempt a goliath on gimp o3oPosted in: Suggestions
triple size man, carries a tree in one hand and wears a robe (?)
idk, makes thumping footsteps (?)
he will just attack when you are seen mining the resources or attacking the mobs in the ether, its like a dimension guard man, that being said a counter version will be made for the nether ><
also, whoops >< but it seems excessive, month long twilight :/ but yeah, maybe it is :biggrin.gif:
Nov 8, 2010Posted in: SuggestionsQuote from GreyAcumen »I think that IS twilight.
Perhaps refer to it as "Aurora"? It could even be set so that once you get up into Ether, instead sunrise sunset effects, you have an arora borealis effect gong on.
HOLY CRAP, you're right ><
