Ok I found out the problem, the mod loader i had was v5 when the mini map one needed v4. So it works now :3 thanks all

And search for minimaps. If its not there, and google can't find it either, then it doesn't exist.

I know what f3 does but i still dont see mini map o.o I installed the mod correctly i just dont see it or know how to make it appear.

Also using the f3 method as a map is rather annoying as you cant see whats at the points ahead of time :c

yea play the game right, i don't understand why people cry because they cannot get a mod working
i only have one mod and thats my more ore mod
and the only reason i have that is so i don't keep finding the same ore blocks all the time

press the number of the option you want to download

when it finishes downloading just close it and open MC

Okay i downloaded it, the file had 2 minecraft file sand a lot of pictures in it. But I really have no clue how to use it or install it. I tried putting the 2 minecraft files directly in the game itself didnt work....what am i doing wrong?>

Also what did you m,ean by "press the number of the option you want to download" ?

btw using windows 7 o.o and it seems the mini map mod isnt working :c

Hello everyone, new here so excuse me if this is the wrong place to post.


Okay, I keep getting lost in minecraft, is there a mod mini map i can use for the latest version of minecraft?

Note: Not one i have to download a program to install it. Like a manually installed one?

Also on another note: Anyone know how to install skins for minecraft? (please dont link me to the thread of how to do so i dont completely understand it yet)
