posted a message on MCXBLA OFFICIAL KNOWN BUGS LIST [TU17]
The bug known as "Redstone Lock" is still present.

This bug causes redstone dust (sometimes repeaters) to freeze in an on or off state when it crosses chunk lines, in direct contradiction to the state that it ought to be in, which is the state that is on the other side of the chunk boundary.

To produce this bug more frequently (it can and does happen with regular use), place redstone dust across a chunk line and quickly power the dust with a redstone torch and break that same torch immediately (split second). Do this repeatedly and it will occur.

To find a chunk line, place redstone dust in a large grid pattern and power it via a torch burnout. By doing this you will see lines form in how the dust is powered. These lines represent the chunk boundaries.

You didn't list this as a bug in the Xbox One edition, so I am hoping you will see this post this time and list it as a bug for BOTH editions. I would appreciate any help or response concerning this matter.

I want the 1.5 Redstone Update. 4J doesn't always do things in order, but I hope this comes out before horses (1.6 The Horse Update), like it did on the PC. If they relatively go in order all this time, like they have, and then skip the 1.5 material that would seriously suck. All this horse hype is drawing the attention away from the real game changing material, which is comparators, hoppers, droppers, and the like.

In the plastic texture pack (maybe others), when you look through glass you can see every individual glass block behind that glass. This is an imported world.

This is what it looks like:

Right! It is only helpful when you absolutely trust everyone that you are working with. If anything goes wrong it is going to be saved almost instantly and there isn't anything you can really do about it.

It is great that auto-save can constantly keep the map updated, but there needs to be a change to how it is disabled.

Whenever you disable auto-save, anytime you reload that world, or any world in fact, auto-save will start back up automatically. If you are running a game for others that faces the constant threat of griefing, you are going to HAVE to remember to disable auto-save either before you load the world or in the game, every single time you reload that world. This is inconvenient and unnecessary.

Instead, make it so that whichever auto-save setting you choose for that world stays that way. If, for example, you turn off trust players, it stays off until you turn it back on. Just make the "Disable Auto-save" setting the same way. It won't lose any of its functionality, and it will give the players more freedom and control.

The game still has what many refer to as "Redstone Lock". When redstone dust crosses chunk lines it will freeze in an "on" or "off" state even while no power source is connected until you manually update that dust directly. At first some believed that this may have been due to hardware limitations, but it is apparent that this is not the case now. To produce this bug lay out redstone dust on the ground in a large grid across chunk lines and either burn out a torch or generate a one tick pulse repeatedly until it occurs. This bug has single handedly ruined redstone for a lot of people since day one, so please address this or confirm that a fix is in the works. Thank you.

Just make a 5 bit binary counter decrement on a clock and hook it up to a binary to 7-segment decoder, or to BCD decoders. It's not too bad.

Job Idea/actual preference: Electrician (Installs lights, item security, alarm systems, intruder detection, automatic banking systems/security, passcoded doors etc...)

Possible job details: Electricians buy redstone materials from shops of their own accord, but some startup supplies would be necessary to get going. People can hire electricians to do whatever redstone job they need done, but the more difficult and resource intensive the job, the higher the pay (they have to make a profit off of the materials). This would of course fall partially into the "Builder's" "new technology" aspect, but by separating the actual building and the redstone, people like me who can't build houses would have the opportunity to contribute. This adds a new twist to the art of stealing.. Can you detect and disable the alarm system? Can you spot the trip wire? Hack into the passcoded door?

Embarrassing memory: Tried to pull a classic swipe the chair right they sit down gag and instead of landing on his butt and having a good laugh it busted open his head lol.
