Experimental and beta are different. You will know if you're on beta as it will say at the top of your screen while playing. Experimental is an in game toggle. It might be switch that the issue reoccurred on, I can't remember. But if you search on the bug tracker it will tell you.
If someone dies and drops all there gear, I think the gear stays in the chunk until its loaded again? Someone with better knowledge of the mechanics could probably explain that better, but whatever the cause, herobrine or creepy pasta haven't been to visit your server.
Yeah ,it was me and I filed a bug report Apparently it was resolved for beta but then the ticket got reopened because it happened again on Windows 10 version I think.
I haven't been back on to check if its working on beta. Probably won't go back on again unless they every resolve the shaders for console.
Maybe they should have realised this before marketing it for release soon after the better together update. Marketing a product that simply doesn't work and then releasing statements long after it was clear it couldn't be done doesn't take the salt away.
More and more I believe that maybe better together was actually a bad idea Everything being dumbed down to cater for kids with phones has made this game a slightly better version of Roblox.
Yep, I pretty much stopped playing when I realised this was never going to happen. I got pretty hyped for it. We were sold bedrock better together almost on the strength of the shader pack. We were fed footage of it on console and then nothing. I can live with bugs in games which are constantly being developed. Heck, I play DayZ! The people that whine about bugs in minecraft...go play DayZ and see how well off you are. But to be sold a game on the back of an imminent dlc which then never happens made me a little bit salty. Now every time I fire the game up, I just feel pretty disappointed and turn it off after a couple of minutes.
I am still impressed that the game is supported after so many years. Most of the development had been a positive, at least I feel so. My only reservation is that the game seems to cater more and more to a younger audience and has become rather childish. I appreciate that, I guess, the biggest proportion of the player base is kids but for me it's just become a little too juvenile. I am guessing also that the technical players might agree with this. I was also hugely disappointed that we never got shaders for console after all the big promotion of the super duper graphics pack. That was a huge let down and probably felt the most by the creative builders. Maybe I'm wrong (and I don't care if I am!) but I feel the game is alienating its older player base.
No idea what you're talking about. Minecraft has always had bugs and I'm sure it always will. This is somewhat unavoidable considering the game is in a constant state of evolution.
Generally any severe bugs are dealt with in a timely manner and other annoying bugs can usually be worked around until fixed.
I don't know which version you were playing prior to the better together update but, as a former xbox one edition player (and xbox 360 before that), I can say that the team working on bedrock has introduced no more bugs than the team that worked on the console versions and we now get much more content much quicker than we did with the console versions.
On top of that, we are also now "caught up" to the Java version in most respects and sometimes even get features prior to Java (the beta players, at least).
So I don't agree, I think the Bedrock team is doing a pretty good job. There are things that could be better but I'm over all happy with the progress of this newer version of Minecraft.
It might be useful if you would list specific items to back your statement. What issues are you referring to? In what way is the game "poorly optimized"?
what are these bugs?
Agreed. And yeah, what bugs?
And for a ten year old game to still be developed and updated? What is this guy on?
It wasn’t raining as far as I know. There was also the sound of things burning.
It wasn't raining as far as you know? So you didn't check? Sounds of burning? Yep where lightening strikes it tends to set things on fire. I think we've eliminated herobrine, creepy pasta and big foot from the equation.
Not possible, I’m on peaceful in creative mode. And thunder is also not it. I know what thunder sounds like and this isn’t it. It’s literally the sound of TNT exploding
Video clip,, or it didn't happen then.
Thunder definitely sounds like tnt when you're underground That's the only feasible explanation if there is nobody else in your world.
