Do want. As for it being implemented, I'm sure it'd be a lot of work, and I'm not sure if anybody would want to do it. I would take a crack at it, but I haven't ever touched Java and I doubt I'd get anything done in a manageable amount of time.
Question, though, what would happen to water underground? Would water in caves underground dry out naturally due to the blocks they'd be on? What if you had a torch near them, since torches do melt snow. I like to build things in tanks (like my farm being in the middle of an underground lake), and that would be a deal breaker for me, however easy it might make getting the farm underwater in the first place or better it would make lakes above ground look.
Could we also have a slight decrease for water power in this mod, too? I think it's ridiculous how you can't walk against weak currents on minecraft, and I constantly have to spawn dirt blocks just to block water and move around it. :tongue.gif:
