    Hi there, I recently had the same problem and fixed it by installing Java 6. As the person above me suggests you should try installing 8JRE, as it's obviously an updated version. I haven't tried it myself. Once you have it installed, go to your Minecraft and open up your Profile settings by clicking 'Edit profile'. Then under "Advanced", "Executable:" replace the current path to Java with the new one, which is "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" for me. Goodluck!

    I've got the following filter set up: however, it doesn't actaully highlight any of the words if they are mentioned. Same happens with a simple filter such as "test". Is this a known bug?

    EDIT:
    I just crashed my game by clicking the toggle on "TabbyChat enabled", started Minecraft back up and as soon as I opened chat it crashed again. Crash error: http://pastebin.com/V9LH09Gt - Resolved the issue by putting in a backup of my TabbyChat in the liteconfig, but still something to be looked into.

    As of 1.7 the chatfilter is included in the Macro mod itself, you don't need to install an additional module for it to work.
    The reason why your script doesn't work is that you don't need script tags for the chatfilter.

    In general it's a good idea to not include script tags in your files but in the binding itself.
    E.g. your script is in myscript.txt without script tags and you include it with $${$$<myscript.txt>}$$ in your key binding or event. But, as I said, the chatfilter is a special case in which you don't need script tags at all.

    -----------

    I changed it to $$<chatfilter.txt>, and it works now. Thanks!

    The Macro Mod is easily my most-used mod, and I always had a friend who helped me set up most things and he often made scripts for me that go far beyond what I could possibly do. Now he quit Minecraft and I don't talk to him as much anymore, however my Macro Mod chatfilter broke.

    He told us to get this a long time ago, and we made a chatfilter.txt file in the Macros folder. Then we had this in-game:

    Now my chatfilter.txt does not do anything anymore, it is currently the following:
    $${LOG('%@&prefix% &achatfilter.txt is working!');}$$ - yet it doesn't log anything in chat when a message pops up.

    I tried adding the module_chatfilter_api13_v1.0.1.jar to my Modules folder again, but that caused my Minecraft to spam as soon as I joined the server.
    This just suddenly happened, I have never even changed a single thing.

    Any help on this would be appreciated a lot!

    RESOURCEPACKS is what you want I think, you can give it one or more packs to activate or none to defaultize.

    Thanks, that worked when I did the following:
    $${RESOURCEPACKS(Sphax 128x);}$$
    but when I tried the following, it doesn't switch the texture pack. It does do the log message, so the ifcointains works. I want it to switch to a certain texture pack in a certain gamemode on The Hive.
    ifcontains(%CHATCLEAN%,"Welcome to Hide and Seek!");
    	 log("%@&prefix% &6Resource pack set to &aSphax 128x&6!");
    	 RESOURCEPACKS("Sphax 128x");
    endif;

    Is there any way to use the RESOURCEPACK / TEXTUREPACK command still? I know it's been taking out but is there a workaround or something else to do the same thing?

    I believe you could set up a tab with the command "/msg <player>" :)

    Not sure what you mean?

    I play a lot on the HiveMC. They now have a PM'ing system, however the prefix is a bit.. original. It's like the following:

    Now I set a filter up with the expression "PRIVATE" and made it case sensitive, however I am wondering if I could also have separate tabs for every person I chat with, instead (or in addition to) of having everything in one global tab.
    If anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it! :)

    Weird chat separator, although this should fix it:
    c(olinow+(?!\w|\s»)|olino(?!\w|\s»)|olin(?!\w|\s»))

    Looking at the image, there's a space inbetween the username and the separator, so that would have to be factored into the expression as before, there were no spaces between the separator and the name.

    This did it for me, many thanks!

    I searched back through the thread and pulled out all the posts in which I made expressions for you. Check each of the spoilers until you find the one you're looking for.

    Hoping either or both of those posts have what you're looking for (and a slightly bit more). Come back and ask stuff if you can't find what you want though.

    I found this in the post:
    c(olinow+(?!\w|:)|olino(?!\w|:)|olin(?!\w|:))

    Now the chat separator on the Hive is this: », so I figured if I changed the expression from above to this
    c(olinow+(?!\w|»)|olino(?!\w|»)|olin(?!\w|»))
    that it would work, but it still makes a sound and highlights the separator when I speak in chat.

    Any ideas on how to fix this?
    Thanks

    Hello!
    You once helped me make something that highlights my name if it is said in 3 various ways, but I somehow lost the iCloud note where I saved it on, and I have no idea how to make it myself. Could you help me along?
    My username: Colinowww. - The server I need this for: HiveMC (hivemc.eu). - Last time it was something like Colin|()ow|.+ or something strange like that, like I said, I have no idea how to do it and can't find the post in this thread anymore. I would like it to highlight the following ways of my name being spelt: "Colin","Colino","Colinow",Colinoww","Colinowww".
    Thanks in advance.

    You're thinking about the links, which broke the filters. I was talking about https://github.com/D...ychat/issues/39

    In addition to the fixed links, I also fixed the vanilla issue of link parsing. You won't need server assistance to be able to click on valid URI links. (starting with http:// or file://)

    Here are the links to the mod as of commit 363.

    The liteloader version works, however a word that I set to be highlighted doesn't get highlighted. Is this known?

    Works fine for me. Using vanilla launcher though, magic launcher provides no real benefit for me when using LiteLoader or Forge.

    I am currently using Liteloader to combine the BSM and Macro keybinding mod, because BSM was not yet updated to a Liteloader / forge.
