    posted a message on Storage Drawers - [1.7.10 - 1.12]

I'm sorry for complaining about an old version, but I'm running into a crash on world load with storagedrawers for 1.7.10. This is in the project ozone 2 modpack.

Here's the crash log for the first time it crashed

Here's the crash log every time I tried to load the world thereafter.

I realize redstonic is probably the root cause of the issue, but storagedrawers alone is now preventing me from starting up my world.

I looked at the source code, and wanted to change that loop to check the recipeList size every iteration of the loop instead of once at the beginning to hopefully fix the of range crash, but I'm running into issues compiling it because mvn.rx14.co.uk appears to be down, so I can't get the dependencies.

Do you have any advice for how to continue with this?

    Updated to 1.10.2!

Using colecf's original 1.6.4 code, I went ahead and made a Forge-compatible version of this mod for minecraft v 1.7.10 (tested with Forge v 10.13.0.1180). Note that the initial time minecraft is launched with this mod it crashes (at least for me). However, this only happens once and then seems to work fine thereafter.

You can download the jar here (place in your mods folder)

Source code is available here - feel free to branch and modify

Seems like several people did this, which is cool, but noone forked the github repo / created a pull request :(

Hi Colecf! I have a question to ask. Before on my favorite factions server, I small text came across the screen as shown in the 1st picture below. But when i installed the mod with forge and ran it, it looked like as shown in the 2nd picture. Why is that? Can it be fixed? If so, can you release an update for safechat? Or is it fixable with your help?

    Thank you,

    BlueBerry_Juice

I just logged onto that server with the new 1.10 version and didn't get that. Could you try it with the new version?

posted a message on PowerCrystals' mods - MineFactoryReloaded, PowerCrystalsCore, and NetherOres updated! - MFR 2.7.9 released
I'm pretty sure this is a bug:

Both the harvester and the planter have quartz range upgrades in them. The planter works fine with it, but the harvester has gone out of control, chopping down this entire forest. It's still chopping, I assume it'll take out the rest of the square. It even extends behind the harvester for some reason. This is on the Crackpack from the ATLauncher.

When will the one for 1.7.2 be out? Please be quick because im getting very annoyed without this mod

The update to 1.7.2 won't be out until MCP is updated for the vanilla version, and until forge is updated for the forge version. This could be a while, as indicted by SeargeDP's tweets. (The author of MCP)

Updated for 1.6.4, adding the ability to replace certain words with others of your choice!

    Quote from Jaxx050

It'd be nice if we had replacer options, ie., replace f***ing with our own diabolic word. What a mother loving frizzle frazzle! Yeah, I basically just took this idea from SomethingAwful, but still!

    Added!

Can you please add support for chat colours in your mod?

Why would you want chat colors? You want to ***s to appear in red or something? You can't make a client mod that allows you to speak in colored chat on a server or the server will kick you.

are people alowed to decompile this mod and edit it? (is it open source?)

Yes there is source code available from the main post

Whenever I use the mod I get the message safechat config improperly written but I used the default

Delete it and let it regenerate. You probably have a config from an older version of the mod.

I'd prefer it to censur the entire word, though.

    It does...

this is exactly what I need for my kids. Is there any way to make it work with mac? I read a TON of the thread and didn't see anything about that.

Yes, all minecraft mods are cross platform. Follow any mod installation tutorial you want (there are a ton out there) and if they don't mention macs just know that your .minecraft folder is in ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft. (Open finder press cmd+shift+G and paste that in)

Thank you so much for creating this mod, I've been needing something like this for quite a while now. One thing I've been noticing though is that the mod is still censoring words such as "class" and "assassin" (e.g when playing a game it would say "Your cl*** has been set"), when clearly it shouldn't. I've been messing around with the configurations with no luck. Any way to fix this?

If you used pretty much the origional version of the mod, delete safechat.properties and have it regenerate it for a better filter.

    Quote from Xanthius_Balaraw

I would love to use this for a different reason but first i need to know if the following is possible.
Is there a way to choose which words get replaced with what, does it work with signs and is there a way to toggle it on and off?

    1. No, but that's a very commonly requested feature so I'll be adding it in the 1.7 update.
    2. No it doesn't work with signs.
    3. There's not really any way to toggle it other than moving it out of the mods folder and restarting minecraft. (I want it to be somewhat child proof)

What do you mean? I'm a bit confused, sorry.. :(

Make sure your list of swear words doesn't contain any special characters. (*/\. ect) If you can't get it working delete the config file and it'll generate a new one and it should work.

Well, just recently the mod seems to have been glitching like insane.

The mod works fine. Make sure your filter isn't matching the words you say. If you have a * as one of your filters (or possibly contained within a filter) it will match every word.

Apparently not. I've add a few words of my own to the list and keep changing the current settings, but still, nothing is happening. I've saved the file billions of times and also restarted Minecraft with each attempt. Nothin'. :steve_rage:

You do have the mod installed, and it works for the default word list, right? Make sure the words are separated by commas, and if you use any special characters (such as .()\[] ect) you may need to escape them by putting a backslash in front. See the link in the config file about Java Regexes if that's the case.

But um, it won't let me change the configurations? E.g I'll type false or true for certain settings and yet it won't make a difference, do you know why?

Make sure you save the file and reboot minecraft after you're done editing it.

Ah, nevermind! I finally figured it out. How do you change the properties, though? I cannot open the file srry D:

Go to your minecraft folder, then the config folder, then open safechat.properties in notepad or something and edit it. Safechat.properties will appear there once you launch minecraft with the mod installed.

Will someone put how to install safechat WITHOUT forge?????????

    http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1873892-updating-installing-mods-in-161/

Scroll down to where it says 1.6.1 Version system tutorial. Keep in mind that as of 1.6 it's much harder to install the vanilla version rather than the forge version.

    Quote from TwitterGirl1234

    1. Below.
    2. Vanilla.
    3. Mostly. Sometimes it crashes immediately with only SafeChat, as well.
    4. Yup.
(Sorry it took so long for a reply, I'm doing this for my sister, so the crash report was on her computer!)

Thanks. Looks like the problem is you have a config file from an old version of safechat. Could you please delete it and let it regenerate it? (It's in your minecraftfolder/config/safechat.properties) I'll update the mod to detect that...
