posted a message on MineCon 2014 suggestions
Mike, i'm sorry to say, but some of your listed "problems" are not problems. Let's take into account the number of tickets. Let's just take your numbers at face value of 12,500,000 MC players. 7500 tickets means that 0.06% of the MC population got a ticket. That's not even counting parents that undoubtably took up a chunk.

Anyway, what do you suggest? Double it to 15,000 tickets? Even at an unmanagable 100,000 tickets and you hold it in a stadium like you say, you touch 0.8% of the community. All of whom will feel like they went to a sporting event instead of a convention. There will be unending complaints from those that did and did not get tickets.

I was there, and while the world didn't end, the crowd got a bit much at times.

Ticket prices will almost no doubtably go up. It's actually EXTREMELY generous of Mojang to offer them at just 150. We all know they would sell out at 300, 400 each.

It's sad that panels were short. But there was a lot to fit in. Maybe the only solution to that is to extend Minecon by a day?

He doesn't deserve his ticket? He's asking to sell it, and many people are BEGGING to buy more. What is the issue?

To list some things others haven't, (If we're talking legit survival only):

The 'real' golden apple - You know the one that take 81 gold to make.

Powered minecarts - you know, the one with the furnace in the minecart that does nothing.

A fireworks star with a trail effect - you know, the one that takes a diamond.

Never go anywhere without your priceless water bucket. It's the difference between burning in lava and living.

posted a message on Mushroom Farming Is Dead...
    1. Well, mushrooms are too easy to get now (just like almost everything else in the game) because you can just break a giant mushroom for 18 smaller mushrooms. *sigh* Never again need to plant mushrooms in a dark room and wait for it to grow.

    2. Abandoned mineshafts make no sense and are too big and I get lost in them. Why is there just Iron visible to the naked eyes in these mineshafts? Shouldn't the miners that abandoned it have cleaned it out of it's supplies? Not to mention, I hit them way too often, they're big and hard to navigate, and I get lost, and I come out with 2 stacks of string (Another thing too easy to get now).

    3. Can I protect myself or at least stop losing health from a poison spider? Or, if I'm hit with low health, am I a goner since I can't eat to regen immediate health?

    4. Wtf void fog? Does anyone like this feature? There is no point in even building an underground bunker now if it's going to be fogged out when I try to light it up. My pride and joy on my last map was a 20x20x10 cube carved at bedrock, but it would look like poop now.

posted a message on Still Get "Login Failed"
On my client. Keep getting "Login Failed" This has been happening since 1.8 was released, but before I was even able to update to it.

When Minecraft.net came back up, I was able to log in there, and actually update my game by loading the in-browser version. But still, the client will not lot me in. This is bad.

    Discuss.
