posted a message on Uh, is my account gone? I'm confused

are people loosing their account every single day? i lost mine a few days ago someone on my thread said they lost theirs with same reason on 3/10 and you...well you have a different situation but still.

A search on twitter appears to be a "yes". Is your's gone? What are you doing about it? Did someone just change your password?

I have contacted support, but they are behind on requests according to their site.

posted a message on Uh, is my account gone? I'm confused

I got an e-mail this morning saying my account was migrated, and if I didn't request this, to contact support. I DID NOT request this, and now I do not know how to log into Minecraft... Has this happened to anyone else and what are my steps? Thanks.

Maybe I should add that my account has a Minecon 2013 cape, so it's kinda important to get into?... Thanks

posted a message on What kind of server are people looking for these days?
I would like to see something unique. A server with it's own spin or reason for joining.

For example, what if your server had an "End State". What if the world size was limited, and there was a race to see who gets the most diamonds? Or maybe, whoever mines the final diamond ore wins?

    Just strange ideas like that...

posted a message on Help Request: Modding Zombie Behavior
I run a small server for my GF and I to play adventure maps on. But ever since the change to zombie behavior (Baby zombies. Zombies spawning new zombies. Aggro range), these maps have become MUCH less fun. We struggle on maps that were clearly designed before this mob change and it just becomes a frustrating hoard of zombies fight.

Is there ANY WAY to mod my server to get rid of this BS? Has anyone released something like that?

posted a message on Minecon 2013 Review Podcast
Well, my friends and I run a small stupid podcast. And the guy in charge let me talk for an hour with my girlfriend about our Minecon experience.

We talk about the lines, the kids, CaptinSparklez, MindCrack, Island of Adventure, etc.

If you care, it can be found here:

Also, were bots even an issue here? Considering you couldn't transfer tickets to a different email address, I'm not sure how practical scalping actually was here.

I could have easily sold my tickets. They did not check my ID on check-in.

What is this adult-only function you speak of? I know in Minecon 2011 they had a 21+ club event with a DJ, but I'm not aware of anything like that this year. I'm 25 and was with a 24 year old (arguably very much adults), and this is the first I've heard of this.

    Same...

How long did you wait for CaptainSparklez? I stood for nearly 4 hours, and I gave him my signature instead of asking for his.

    I'm different like that.

posted a message on MineCon 2014 suggestions
Mike, i'm sorry to say, but some of your listed "problems" are not problems. Let's take into account the number of tickets. Let's just take your numbers at face value of 12,500,000 MC players. 7500 tickets means that 0.06% of the MC population got a ticket. That's not even counting parents that undoubtably took up a chunk.

Anyway, what do you suggest? Double it to 15,000 tickets? Even at an unmanagable 100,000 tickets and you hold it in a stadium like you say, you touch 0.8% of the community. All of whom will feel like they went to a sporting event instead of a convention. There will be unending complaints from those that did and did not get tickets.

I was there, and while the world didn't end, the crowd got a bit much at times.

Ticket prices will almost no doubtably go up. It's actually EXTREMELY generous of Mojang to offer them at just 150. We all know they would sell out at 300, 400 each.

It's sad that panels were short. But there was a lot to fit in. Maybe the only solution to that is to extend Minecon by a day?

posted a message on Minecon 2013 From a Minecon Agent's Perspective with Photos
Thanks for the recap. I thought about volunteering, but this was basically supposed to be a major trip for my gf and I, and I wanted to be able to spend the time with her instead. I found it odd at first that after paying to be an attendee, they would then ask if I wanted to work. But I guess that's how it's done.

I highly doubt I will get the chance again anytime soon. It's going to become more and more impractical to get to these events as the community grows, and I'm not flying to Japan, or whatever new country they're having it in another year.
