Ulfberht was a little more than just a specialty weapon. It was made of a special kind of steel, found to be quite similar to Damascus steel. The quality mark was actually likely to be the mark of a specific smith.
Anyway, the main reason I'm thinking more weapons is that I like axes, and it seems odd that theirs only two weaponized axes when there are four kinds of blunt weapon and four kinds of blade, and that's including heavy weapons.
Actually, speaking of other kinds of steel, maybe that should be a function. Like... the regular sort of steel, made in a steel furnace, and also another kind, crucible steel (which was actually a thing, which took around a full day to make, and had next to no impurities), which I mentioned earlier by the name Damascus steel (named for the city where it was first produced in any large quantity).
Hmm... With the whole viking and Japanese armors bit... There are a few viking weapons that would be interesting to see, such as the Ulfberht. Also, since there aren't many kinds of axe weapons, maybe add in hatchets? Make them in between waraxes and axes when cutting trees, and possibly throw them on right click?
A year or so back, I had a friend who was starting to play a lot of video games. He only really played CoD and Halo, and I was tryig to get him to play something else. I tried to convince him to play Minecraft. The conversation went something like the following:
Me: "You know, you should give Minecraft a try."
Former Friend: "Nah, that game is boring."
Me: "No it isn't. There's all kinds of things to do."
Former Friend: "You don't get weapons."
Me: "You can make swords."
Former Friend: "But you don't get guns at the beginning, so what's the point?"
I've got mithril, and I need to get it heated. I'm using inferno coal and bellows, but it only gets up to 744 degrees and it's still not workable. I hope I don't need hellfire, since I can't find any dragons around my world.
Alright, so I've really been hoping to find an actual hosted server that uses the Mine Fantasy mod. The mod is only updated to 1.6.4, and I understand there aren't a whole lot of servers for it... But it's a mod I love, and I really want to be able to use it to its full extent as a multiplayer thing.
If there isn't one already, someone willing to host/sponsor one would be great. Perhaps if enough people would be interested, a roleplay server using the mod could be started.
First, you need to set your own URL for your user page, then you use [youtubesubcribe] Username [/youtubesubscribe]. You don't actually need to set a URL, but otherwise you have to put in a bunch of random numbers.

I assume this is all stuff i this mysterious new-found build? If it's stable, I'll have to check it out.

1; I'm not sure if they already do this, but a speed mechanic while walking on them.
2: A new process for making them which is as follows:
Mattock to level
Rake to clear debris
Shovel to flatten and harden

That was about when I gave up.

The reason people prefer mods to be forge compatible is because it's easier to put in/take out, and also easier to use with other mods.

I don't see why you replied to this if you're not interested in joining.
