Thanks for that. While I greatly appreciate updates, (boy do I appreciate updates), it's nice to be able to stop them from happening until I'm ready for them to be applied.
Fortunately my client that was once heavily modified before the Halloween update stayed only minimally modified after the update, just to textures and the 10 game save mod, which both seem to be working fine after the latest update, but at least now I know how to avoid auto update until I'm ready for it to happen.
Thanks for the pack, the only thing I didn't like was the glass, but I replaced it with some glass that I really do like and now I love your texture pack. Amazing job.
Are you really planning on expanding the 'browse' button so maybe I can choose worlds in my private server to plump up a bit?
Or can I simply move the world folder into the singleplayer world spot that isn't used and then plump it and move it back to the private server world folder?
While that would be pretty cool and realistic, I can't say that my eyes have adjusted to the darkness in MC. When I say that my eyes, I mean that my characters eyes have not adjusted to where things are brighter in the pitch of night that is MC.
I hate wasting torches everywhere but it seems unless things are going to be changed in the game, that is my only choice right now, or I have to sit around for 7 minutes waiting on the sun, or use one of the mods that keeps it at dead noon every 5 minutes, which I don't like since then no mobs come out. So, it seems that torches are my only answer to the pitch that is MC nighttime unless Notch is planning to update the game to give us an option to make the nights brighter.
I've got to agree with the O.P. too, the darkness at night when there is a full moon overhead is far too dark.
I'm not the one that is going to fiddle with my monitor settings as it's been calibrated properly and I don't care to have to adjust it for a game, when in reality the game should be adjusted for properly calibrated monitors so that one can actually see at night.
Hi,
I'm wondering if the game is supposed to work this way, it doesn't seem too likely but thought I'd ask first...
I have a diamond axe that I've worn down to about 1/2 usability, I press the Q key and toss it to the ground. When I pick it up again it's at full durability.
The block is iron. I just tested on my game with this pack on the newest update and it made an iron bar in single player map ...
Thanks, I guess there must be some issue with the way that a furnace faces, once I removed the furnace and placed it so that it was facing 90° in another direction, the furnace worked as it should.
Is the texture I'm showing here supposed to be iron ore?
I ask because for some reason when I put some of this into the furnace with some coal and come back later, both this block and the coal is missing.
Not sure if maybe it's not iron ore and therefore just getting burnt up, or if it's maybe the 1.2.0_02 update that happened today, or maybe the Hey0 v123 multiplayer server that is causing it.
It only looks grainy to me from a far distance, at what I would consider normal viewing distance I don't think I'm seeing grainy textures. But maybe it's in the eye of the beholder.
There are monsters. Thats why theres a line in the config. But you cant kill them directly. Youll need to use flint&steel or lava etc. And creepers can asplod.
When you say that i need to use Flint & Steel, in what way do I use this combination? Do you mean that i need to make arrows and shoot them?
Out of curiosity, what all do I lose by turning off the monsters? I mean do they only drop stuff that would be useful for making stuff to kill more monsters? If so then I might as well leave it off but if they drop any other resources that might be important to building my structures then well...
First off, a big thanks to Soulscribe, the beta looks really great. Although I have to admit that I personally liked your rendition of the different resources (gold, diamond, not so much coal) with the crystals on page 3 of this topic. I can't explain it, they just look more fun to me.
I wonder if there is a way to get those original crystal resource images from you so that I can insert them into the final release of this HD pack?
2ND, Thanks to Streptovsky for adding the hell stuff and pumpkins, I was about to do that myself until I clicked on this last page and saw that you'd already done it for me. Cheers for that.

Any plans to do a 128x128 set?
