What issues does the bug Cause: Lighting does not change at night, and thus the world is lit in daylight at night. Mobs, dropped items, and objects/tools in hand appear to be lit properly.
Specific conditions it occurs in if applicable: I assume that this is a constant lighting bug, though it is most noticeable at night.

People in videos I've seen on YouTube regarding 1.8 don't seem to be having this problem, neither in SSP nor SMP. Hope that doesn't mean it'll go on the back burner.
