posted a message on Spawning vanilla villagers with MCA

I've been using the Minecraft Comes Alive mod for a long time, and I've noticed that with certain mods that would spawn villagers MCA would turn them into their villagers. Is there a way to spawn vanilla villagers with MCA on? I'm using the latest version of MCA, btw.

posted a message on Help with /playsound command

Well I did get it to work when I replaced the vanilla music disc, but when I tried making a resource pack and adding music rather than replacing the music disc, 1) It didn't create an actual disc for the song, which I don't think it would, and 2) I tried playing it using the command and got nothing. I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong. I've been testing it for quite some time now...

That's basically what I'm trying to figure out. From what I've heard and looked up, you can create a resource pack (Which is very easy, really) and place the music inside the resource pack in the records folder. You just have to name it as one of the disc in vanilla minecraft (cat, 13, 11, et cetera). But for me I have 74 songs... And there's only... 10? I'd like to put everything up there and be able to play it with the /playsound command. Been looking everywhere for further instructions...

    Edit:

Actually, I haven't tried what tartness and JanisX11 said... Gonna see if that works

I know how to use the playsound command to a extend ( /playsound records.wait AnonomousC ~ ~ ~ 100 1.0), but I was wondering how would I play a disc that wasn't apart of vanilla minecraft, or atleast how to play a sound effect from a mod. I've done a little research and they say that you have to get a resource pack(That was what was recommended), but there was once were I got a song and converted it to OGG Vorbis and simply renamed it to cat and replaced the cat record. When I tested it my game froze but it eventually played.

Actually before that I put a long dubstep mix as the sound effect for silverfish death. And that lagged my game SOO hard lol

So what I was wondering is, say I added a resource pack and I had a song 'Test - Testy Tester', how would I play it?

Another thing. I have a mod, CMD(Custom Music Disc; Lets you add your music to the game), and I don't think I can use the playsound command with the music I added...

The first one I made was way too complicated. I actually figured out I did a lot more than needed.

OK I managed to get something that works really good. I'll upload a video of it, but I had to use MineFactory Reloaded and EnderIO, which I already had. It was WAY less complicated to make than I thought it would be...

Edited like 20 seconds after I posted it:

And Thermal Expansion. But I realize that I can just have a pipe insert into the auto jukebox so I didn't really need TE. But I'll keep using it cause its actually kinda convenient.

I actually started looking at the changelog for Minecraft and something appeared weird to me. Why is it in every update they say '-Removed Herobrine'?

Alright. I'll try it. Though I believe that with the mods I currently have installed I might not be able to use it...

Yeah I kinda figured that. I have a few mods I think I could use for it like BuidCraft or EnderIO...

posted a message on Automatic Jukebox Disc Changer (Help)

For a long time now I've been trying to figure out if I could make something that works like a jukebox, but will change the disc automatically when it finishes. Cause I have a crap load of music I added to the game and I'm too lazy to go all the way back to my house and change the song. I've looked on the wiki about the jukebox and I don't see anything that would really help. And I've also tried searching for something like it, but no luck. What I was wondering if anyone knew how. This is what I was looking for or at least something like it:

When you play a song it would play through, then upon the songs completion it would automatically eject and a new disc would insert via hopper(?) or redstone signal and pipes. I'm not exactly sure but I have a slight idea on how to do it...

    An idea I had:

I have thought of just doing it with dispensers, hoppers, comparators, and a really long delay(4-5 minutes since that's average time of each song.), but not getting any results.

If anyone has any info or a solution/suggestion, please tell me. Anything would be great :D Thanks.
