Mar 30, 2012Cico135 posted a message on Want To Win a Free Copy of Minecraft?Well not being able to play on servers is bad enough already, Let's hope that we will still be able to use mods for SSP. It makes the experience a lot more interesting.Posted in: News

Funny how people keep saying that using cracked versions suck because of this reason or that, yet not a single one says because it's illegal.
Most people probably don't like stating explicitly that they are doing something illegal. -

The original ship:
After I improved it:
Suggestions on improving the ship further are welcome...
P.S. I think it looks most like a Galleon...

You don't need to get this mod on tekkit...tekkit will just steal the mod when they want it.
P.S. You could install the mod yourself.

Lets see...erm...Redpower, Buildcraft, Railcraft, Optifine, Industrialcraft, Forestry, Millenaire, Zeppelin, Cart Mod, Beer Mod, NEI and Pam's Simple Harvestcraft.
These are the main mods I am using...of course most of them are quite useless for a medieval town...

Thanks for the compliments. It is really because of these that I still continue the story.

Well once you do, please make the locomotives much bigger than the ones in the Trains mod. Please make the size of the locomotives somewhat realistic.(Maybe 2 or 3 blocks wide and 10 blocks long?) Of course then the locomotives would require a different railway track from the minecarts but then again locomotives ought to be much bigger than minecarts. One last request, don't allow the locomotives to be able to make sharp 90 degree turns, it kinds of makes them look stupid.
If any of my suggestions could be implemented it would be great.

5 days after the castle was officially completed, a ceremony was held and the townsfolk were given a holiday. A grand feast was held in the castle's hall and many important people were invited. The castle was also officially named Silver Fortress.
The completion of the castle attracted ships from nearby ports where rumours spread about the new Port town. This resulted in a newcomer constructing a ship repair and supply store for the ever increasing amount of ships coming and going in Port Silver. The store was constructed on the other side of Port Silver in front of the castle.
Due to the hilly terrain the other part of the store had to be built on a hill encased in stone. This allowed a small warehouse to be constructed underneath it that connected to the store. It even had a ground level entrance to allow carts ;aden with supplies to be pushed right inside. The second part of the store housed the carpenter who specialized in repairing ships and the other staff of the store. (The right building only has the counter). A well was also dug in front of the store to fill barrels of fresh water that would be loaded onto ships.
The owner of the general store had been saving up money for a while and now he had an expansion built at the back of his store that would provide extra storage space on the ground floor and also a small room that he was going to rent for extra income on the second floor.
The possibility of the construction of a farm to provide food for the growing town had been debated for a while but the Baron had finally decided to give the 'go ahead' on the construction of one. A farmer and his wife from a nearby farming village were persuaded at a high price to move in and construct a farm. The new farm was to overlook the small lake in the outskirts of the town. Fruit trees were planted around the lake to protect the crops from strong winds blowing in from the mountains.
The farmer was quite eager to start planting his crops and thus he operated from the small tool shed temporarily until the main farmhouse was finished.
A water tank was built to collect and store rainwater that could be mainly used to water the crops.
His hardwork would soon pay off as it seemed that he would have a bumper crop. He had also hired a few farmhands to help him out on the farm. The new farm would be a big success in providing food for the town.
The plan for a new lumber camp had finally been finalized and the construction of it began. The sawmill that would save the effort of the lumberjacks in sawing the logs into planks was completed first and was powered by a waterwheel in the river.
The lumberjacks' hut was completed soon after and would provide a cozy place for them to rest at night. The amount of planks produced by the new lumber camp was almost double of what had been produced by the old camp and a pile of them built up outside the sawmill.
A small dock for riverboats was also built along the gravel path connecting the lumber camp and the main path to town from the bridge.

Arcerian Spy Report #007
Carrier Pigeon Letter:
The Calymnians seem to not be nearly as advanced as us. In my previous report, I have noted the increase in the construction of defense fortifications following our attack on them. One of the bigger fortifications is in a Port Town to the South named Port Silver. Calymnian Weaponry seems to be mostly powered by the red dust like substance they have called Redstone which gives off a constant small amount of energy. The 3 main types of stationary weaponry they seem to be employing are Auto-Arrow Launchers, Fireball Cannons and the big TNT cannons which are the only ones that pose a threat to our forces. I am confident that -----.
"It seems that we caught one of their spies..."
"Well don't just stand there take him to the Capital for questioning."
