I'm dealing with the same issue. Only none of the slimes are taking damage, I'll smack them like crazy with my sword, pound them with snowballs and they don't split or anything. Even after relogging, nothing really changes. Some might disappear, but the ones that remain still don't take any kind of damage.
I'd like to continue mining all of my obsidan, but I can't with those boogers being bugged like that. :tongue.gif: Guess I just have to wait for Notch to fix it...
Edit: Well I just checked out the links, and both the 1.3_01 pack (and the mirror) have a bed icon and redstone textures. The 1.2_02 pack has redstone textures too.
Perhaps you downloaded the wrong pack for your version?
No idea what was going on. Somehow my Minecraft was running a mix between your texture pack and JS's (outdated) texture pack. For instance, I had your compass in the inventory bar, but all the weapons that are on JS's pack. Quite strange, but its fixed.
This... looks a heck of a lot like JohnSmith's pack. However, since JS hasn't updated his yet... I'm snagging this and testing it out. :tongue.gif:
edit: You haven't added an icon for the new bed? Personal opinion, but the solid black to red boxes for the redstone currents is kinda weird to me... Doesn't seem like much of a current.
Yeah. That's not the processor that I've seen that hasn't been adapted to Minecraft yet, so that's a good thing. However, like I said before, I don't know of any fixes for you sadly... If you get lucky and someone posts in here that knows more than I do, great! For now though, I'd just try to search in these support forums or google search it, see what you can find.
Also, it sounds kinda like you are using the browser based client, yeah? If you are you might try the one that you can download instead, might work.

It seems as though Minecraft has issues loading onto Windows 7 computers. My laptop (that I use all the time) has Windows Vista, but I suggested my brother try to play it one time on his laptop, which has Windows 7 and he was just getting a blank screen as you have posted.
Sadly, I, myself, don't know a fix for this issue. Possibly do a Google search and see if you can find a fix that way? I know you're not the only person that is having this issue.
side note: What kind of processor do you have in it? Or do you know?
I downloaded a texture pack, really like it and have been using it for awhile. However, they updated it and they changed the pictures you can hang on the wall from the stock photos to ones of their own choice... but I actually prefer the stock ones that Notch put in the game to cycle through.
Could anyone possibly tell me what to delete in the texture pack's zip file in order to get the stock photos back? I'd be greatly appreciated. :smile.gif:
So, that's my question. I downloaded Minecraft after legally purchasing it in the Alpha stage. I found a torrent for Minecraft Alpha 1.2.6, and I was wondering if I was allowed to download it since I already bought the game.
Actually, let me correct my last post. You will have to replace the beta minecraft.jar file with the old alpha minecraft.jar. I'm not sure if the torrent you found comes with that in it, but viewtopic.php?f=17&t=111148 gives you the directions/information/files in order to do that. If you are wanting to use the alpha client to play multiplayer (as the forum I linked says) you will have to have the owner of the server roll their server back to alpha. Then it should work again.
As far as legality. I do believe that it is legal. I myself am using the alpha client from the forum link I gave you, because I kept getting a java error after connecting to the server I play on. (The server owner did set the server back to alpha, so I can play again now.)
