Do they generate the entire world, including all the ores and the like? If so, how does having mods installed that add ores and blocks to the game affect a seed?
Hah, three of my favorite modders working together, this is awesome :biggrin.gif:
I assume it'll be perfectly compatible with King's and Shockah's mods? (Something tells me that the upgrades to the nether will be a combination of the two :tongue.gif:)
One thing I hate is that every mod breaks when the game gets updated, and a lot of my favorite mods end up getting lost in time and never remade again. I just hope official mod support stops mods from breaking every update :sad.gif:
I know he said it will soon be worked on, but did he say what it would achieve? I'm hoping it lets you use any amount of mods without conflictions :tongue.gif:
Getting the same problem. All I did was install the gui, then this pack, then add BetterLight/BetterGrass/SMChat/whatever.
Thing is, I had the same error before, it seems to happen whenever I install certain mods. And like before, I used the debugger located in Shockah's topic (viewtopic.php?f=25&t=83028), extracted it to my .minecraft folder and ran the game through run.bat, and it started working perfectly
Figured I'd post it here in case anyone else gets a similar problem - If I log in by playing the game normally and opening Minecraft.exe, it blackscreens, but if I do it this way it works perfectly
People are helpless, and don't know how to drag and drop files.
That's the only thing I can think of.
Either that, or:
They don't check the mod version.
They don't use the required mods.
They drag the entire folder into there instead of the things inside of it.
They are using a fake bugged minecraft they took from The Pirate Bay.
They are not opening the minecraft.jar.
There's always mods that are incompatible with each other but yeah, 90% of the time it's some sort of user error. Did some pretty stupid crap myself a few times while installing mods, which taught me that trying to install mods while drunk at a new years party doesn't always work very well

Edit - Consider adding this in? :3
