They obviously built on the skyworlds until it became the Ender. Its not a difficult concept to grasp.

re-named and looks nothing like floating islands and isnt a dream world like the original concept

You have seen nothing of it. just because it doesn't look like floating islands in the very vague screenshots we have seen doesnt mean that it doesn't float. If you dont like it, then tough.

Why is is that no one understands that Rebranded means RENAMED??? Its almost as if everyone has no basic grasp on the english language, ALMOST ALL of the comments in this topic are discussing skyace's posts, when he has no actual idea what he is talking about! ENDER WILL BE THE SKYLANDS, and its most likely going to be the same basic code as skylands, but more polished. WHY is this topic still up, and having attention paid to the original post when the argument has been proven completely invalid?

posted a message on Sandy looking stone in dragon screenshots.
    Quote from Somfunambulist

It looks like the white cobblestone found in the Terrain.png file. I would guess that, for the Ender Realm screenshot, he merely reskinned normal stone for the sake of the photo. I would guess that he forgot to change it back when taking these photos, because they're all where normal stone would be.

This is most likely the case, in my opinion. Notch probably had a plan on what the Ender would look like, but didn't get around to making a new block for the sand (or whatever that is) so he replaced the stone texture, And must have kept it when switching to the normal world to take pictures of the dragon.

posted a message on Creative mode, good or bad?
    Quote from Kleevage

I don't enjoy mining or the terrible combat in this game and am only interested in building, so yes it is good.

The combat in the game is slightly modified in 1.8, so it's slightly less terrible! :smile.gif:

posted a message on Creative mode, good or bad?
I find it amazing that everyone makes a big deal over wether or not the adventure update will be a new game mode or not, but now people assume that creative mode will just be a difficulty. Creative will be a game mode, and most likely peaceful will remain for those who want to collect but not have to deal with enemies. I think it's a great idea, I'm looking forward to it. As for "burning out", I don't see how this will happen. Sure people will play on creative mode as much as adventure/survival, but there's nothing wrong with that. It's a game mode intended for creating, and if you've been around as long as I have you would know some of the amazing things players have made with an infinite supply of items. It seems like some people have forgotten that classic creative still exists.

Well, I won't complain unless these giant mushrooms are used to make healing potions. Then I might start pointing fingers.

Its funny because mushrooms are already used for healing potions.

posted a message on How complex will the Villages be?
I doubt that the villages will be very complex at all, that has never been the style of minecraft. NPCs will most likely not talk, i have never thought of the mobs to be intelligent. Also, this picture shows that Enderman may be the villagers.

Not really, Since the glowing border is a community suggestion, an idea that he likes. NOT official, COMPLETELY subject to change.

That would be cool, kinda like the boat

I love this idea, and maybe there could be a better tier of arrow that doesn't break, but requires more resources.

WHY are people complaining about this being a big game changer? Seriously, it reminds me of something else, which was actually rather similar. You know... BIOMES? It's basicly the same idea; a unique area. Its just smaller. I don't see the appeal of doing anything in a sand biome, so I avoid them. I still like the addition of one in the game! Just do the same to villages, which will most likely be rarer than a biome, and require more exploring to find anyways.

I like this idea, and it would be nice if we had some mobs attacking livestock. Perhaps the zombies, or the spiders... or perhaps a new wolf mob!I think he has mentioned it somewhere...
