Hoping someone can clarify this for me.

It's my impression that we the viewers are the ones that pay the bills here, via ad revenue and premium memberships, not Sony.

I didn't think that Mojang or 4J owned curse either, but maybe I'm wrong? Please tell me how we here are bound through Sony's ToS.

I'm not looking to start a gender/equality debate - that is not my intent! I'm simply pointing out that I bought this game to play with my niece (who loves the game, btw!) and was disappointed to see of the eight default character skins, there wasn't a female one for her to choose.

This goes to the nurture/nature debate. You can argue that growing up in fame made him this way, but I will argue that some people are douches no matter what. I mean, he spit on his fans for god sake. I feel sorry for him in the sense that I feel sorry for any person that could have been born with a better personality, and actually bettered society.

Do I agree with deporting him? Well, only if it comes with a stipulation saying that his music could never be played in America again lol

If you are looking through glass at a water block it will always appear like its flowing downward.

Downward currents are strong in this version. If you get stuck in downard current Wile drowning, you literally can't swim upwards. In a later update they made the downforce from drowning quite a bit less powerful, so there is hope in the future.

Water only multiplies sideways, so you would literally have to go later by layer from the top down and place water, otherwise you will end up with downward flow.

Slimes use the same mob cap as other hostile mobs, so if there are a lot of dark places near your slime farm, it will slow the spawn rate down.

You will have to walk away to get more mobs to spawn on that area. I think the optimal waiting distance is about 28 blocks or something.

If you climb above y128, then back down it will force a red pawn of mobs.

In general, mob spawning is really really slow in this game compared to pc, due to hardware limitations. Even mob spawn boxes are really slow. The best way is to either half slab, or light up every cave near the spawner. The easiest way to do this is by using an x ray machine (glowstone and piston).

Also, starting a seed in which you spawn within an ocean biome means you're most likely not going to ever have access to all the animals. On PC version, you could at least go on an epic sailing adventure to find your way out of the ocean and find animals to bring home. Or an entire gameplay scenario where you pretend you've crash landed on an island and use the resources on your island to get you back to the mainland shore. This just isn't possible on console versions.

I've never had problems finding animals on my ps3. In fact, we frequently have to exterminate all the animals in town... not to mention wolves spawning in my farms -.-

What does xbox have that we do not? Besides skins and texture packs.

I don't know about you, but I don't think that minecraft will be in development for too much longer past Minecraft 2.0. And we are getting awefully close to that number. Point being that it will not be indev forever, and so the ps4 xbone versions will catch up. Never is a strong word.

Honestly how much space do you need? Even dividing the map into 8 parts its not like 8 players would ever run out of recources. The only thing that sucks about limited map size is that you are dealt the hand you get, so if you get a crappy world thats mostly ocean, you either got to run with it or start over. You can't just move 3000 blocks for a whole new continent.

My biggest gripe with console minecraft is the limitations on mob spawning. Sky farms and golem farms aren't even usable in console, and even mob spawn boxes spawn at stupid low rates. If they'd fix that, I'd be okay with not having hoppers for a while.
