Ahh
good old minecraft
Does anyone else remember that "feel" when you first started playing minecraft? When I first started I knew that this game would be different, better, than other games. One of a kind. And the random music in Minecraft often triggers that thought nowadays...

Jan 15, 2012ChickenPieOnTheFloor posted a message on Minecraft 1.1 is Released!Okay. (Some) People want to downgrade. Either because, I don't know, for some weird reason they don't like the update, maybe they can't play on their favorite 1.0.0 server now that they have the update, or something like that.Posted in: News
I come with a way to solve your problem. A way to switch back to the 1.0.0 version of Minecraft OR EARLIER!
READ ON!
Anyone who has Windows 7 and wants to uninstall the 1.1 update? In other words, switch Minecraft Versions from 1.1 back to 1.0.0 or earlier, so you can play on Multiplayer servers that have not yet upgraded to 1.1? Look no further, because this is the easiest and best way, no downloads necessarily, to switch back. Follow the link for a video tutorial (not made by me)
How to Downgrade Minecraft 1.1.0 to 1.0.0 with Windows 7
Note: This was for the 1.6 to 1.5 downgrade, but the process is the same for ANY downgrade. (It works for 1.1 back to 1.0.0 too!)
My Comments:
It works great, I tried it! If anyone needs any more help with this, just PM (Private message) me on this here forum!
Sorry that it's only for Windows 7! I will try to find a way with Macintosh and maybe Linux upon request!
Afraid to go into the Minecraft folders on your computer because you think it might mess up Minecraft and make it not work any more? As long as you don't delete any other files besides the "bin" and "resources", your A-Okay! Minecraft will patch itself up. Also remember that when you finish doing this tutorial and success, make sure to click "Not now" when Minecraft asks you if you want to update. Otherwise, you'll have to go through the whole process again and Minecraft will update to 1.1
Questions? PM (Private message) me.
Spread the word, share the link to my post with your friends. Help them "fix" Minecraft.
Can't keep up with the video tutorial or you're just confused? I can help you. Either PM me or request a written tutorial from me. Happy to help! :biggrin.gif:

Thanks for reading and I hope this helps! Remember that if you have Linux or Mac and want to easily downgrade Minecraft, just PM/reply and upon request, I will try to find an easy way to do this!

Have you played PC Minecraft?:of course I have
Do you know when the update is coming out?:no
Builder or Miner?: Both, I kinda do whatever work is needed, but I do not particularly enjoy cave mining.. heh

I have no idea what I might have done as I always behave respectfully and kind to others. If anyone can tell me, that'd be nice. Thanks.
EDIT: Yet when I go under the warn status notes, there's nothing there o.O

That's because this is an outdated fix, as you can see, the original post date was from 2010. I will be posting a resources folder on mediafire soon, if you like. Private Message me.
Also, just a reminder, the resources file is very large with over 300 items in it. It may take a while for me to upload/anyone download.

I am using the original minecraft server found on minecraft.net/download and this is a really annoying problem because it's a survival server and say when we are exploring then shut down the server for a minute, it comes back as sunset and we have to race time to get back home before monsters spawn again.
If anyone knows what's causing this problem or how I can fix this, please do tell me! And thanks!

I know of "Single Player Commands", but It's too big and all I want is a very lightweight mod, designed for only "sethome".
I live in a rainforest in my single player game and I do not have sheep in the area so I can't make a bed. I'm always afraid I will be killed and become lost.
Thanks. Just a suggestion, not really necessary, because i can just spawn items with INVedit and make wool and then use it to craft a bed.
EDIT: I am thinking of learning to make mods myself, and maybe I'll make one like this once I get the hang of it. I know some BASIC but not yet learned much Java.

Then finish the project with that, maybe uninstall the mod or stop using it (so you don't feel like your cheating) and continue your Minecraft life!
If it's your own multiplayer server or a server you have access to world edit, use world edit.
:biggrin.gif:
Also, like SofusTheGreat said, maybe instead use TNT for fast mining and to collect many more blocks easier.

If it doesn't work maybe I'll try my hand at modding... :tongue.gif:

Both of us are losing our patience. He wants to just hurry up and fix the game when I'm trying to help best as I can but it's IMPOSSIBLE!
We have tried many ways to fix the Bad Driver thing and none work.
So I need two things from some very kind person:
I know that many people have already posted this in the forums before, but all those fixes didn't work.
And besides I have a slightly different problem- I have a friend that lives far away and is not so good at computer.
I desperately need help!
I have already searched many Youtube videos and instructions, driver updates and all. None work.
Here is a list of SOME of the things that didn't work for my friend:
Oh. Well that's about it. But there are endless videos and posts saying to do a driver update WHICH didn't work for my friend.
(and how did I get him to be able to do downloads and driver updates? I HAD to take over his computer with remote control. :dry.gif: He couldn't figure it out himself without just closing all the windows in his computer or shutting it down. So you see how hard this is???)
So if anyone has any help, PLEASE tell me!
Thank you! ---Brinaq
