posted a message on Minecraft: The Original Journey [Chapter 6 Complete!]
Hello, Minecraft readers. I will be making a story about a regular adolescent who ends up in a Minecraft world, trying to survive to avoid death and life-threatening experiences. But if you see any spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors, I'll be happy to edit them for you. Due to my young age of 14 and my substandard skills of English, it might not look good as you guys suspected.

So, it will be a long read, I'll try my best to put as much interesting detail as possible.
This is just an ordinary story about a boy surviving in the abandoned world of Minecraft, so why read? :steve_tearful:

This novel is rated T for 13+, includes mild violence, mild language and sequences of fantasy action.

    Author's Note:
Minecraft is created by Mojang, a game community. It's also been about three months playing this game, and because the game is so fun and exhilarating, I decided to make this story in memoriam for the game.

Thank you for viewing this story, because I spent a lot of time thinking of ideas to advance this novel much readable for Minecraftians out there.
    Sypnosis:
Stephen "Steve" Persson, an adolescent who found himself in the world in Minecraft as soon as he bought the game to play it for himself. Surviving in the vast world of cubical blocks, he finds Sulphur, a girl creeper-human hybrid who was abandoned from her creeper guild due to her differentiating looks, and both has formed a partnership until the end is coming near for both of them. Herobrine is lurking into the shadows, waiting for its encounter to defeat, planning to use its dark power to send the dangerous monsters from the Nether to the Overworld to pulverize the existence of the home of friendly, and passive animals and the citizens. Steve and Sulphur, both hale and hearty, decides to defeat Herobrine to save the world of Minecraft.

    Meet the Characters:

Stephen "Steve" Persson: Steve is a main protagonist of the novel, and he's the person who brought the Minecraft world all by himself. He is portrayed with a light-blue shirt and blue-purple-ish pants and violet eyes. He is often a very precarious guy, always disagrees to go through something that is relatively risky. In the Minecraft world, he's not experienced at anything in the game. He eventually gets better living in the world of blocks, just like anyone else who started playing the game. His last name is inspired after Notch's last name, Persson.

Steve appeared as his true form in the Prologue, but his Minecraft existence is in Chapter 1, Part 1.

Lil' Sulphur: Sulphur is a half-human, half-creeper hybrid who was abandoned by a guild of creepers due to her differentiating appearance. She is a dueteragonist in the novel. Knowing that she doesn't belong in the guild anymore, she decides to live and survive with her only friend, Steve, and she's a helper to Steve, telling him what to craft and mine. She knows how a human lives in Minecraft based on her studies she was educated. She has a very rare case of explosion syndrome, which means her explosive sulphur quantity is deteriorating every day, not making her able to explode at people at a close range.

Sulphur appeared in Chapter 2, Part 1.

Herobrine: Herobrine is a classic villian to every story, either real life of mythological. His existence was sealed for a few months after Notch expelled him out of the game, until he regained strength and a dark power that allows him to escape. As for a main antagonist of the novel, he is portrayed very grotesque looking. His appearance is very alike to Steve's, except that his pupils don't exist, leaving his eyes only covered with sclera. He attempts to defeat Steve in order to make him a ruler of the world of Minecraft, the Nether and the End. He's very known for summoning Nether mobs in the Overworld, allowing them to pulverize the world. Herobrine is originated by Creepypasta, who is very well known for their Slenderman mythology.

Herobrine appeared in Chapter 2, Part 3.

    Meet the Secondary Characters:

Creephys: He is a leader of the Creeper guild where Sulphur was excommunicated from. He is a protagonist who doesn't allow people who interferes his rules like violating the appearances, etc. His relationship with Sulphur isn't pretty to look at, because both of them were always in a fight before Sulphur was excluded out of the guild. Although his guild is rumored to have Herobrine sealed inside of their jail, the remaining information appears to be classified away from unwanted guests.

Creephys appeared in Chapter 5, Part 1.

Creephys's Elite: He is the strongest and the bravest creeper warrior of the Creeper guild. He is a very gallantic minion of Creephys and his positive behavior brings to joy. He is often amazed by lightning, and he's been struck by one and got his power charged. Unfortunately, he died on his attempt to kill Herobrine by his charged explosion, which is failed by Herobrine's defense. His remains are in his grave in the kingdom's flower patch, or the cemetary.

Creephys's Elite appeared in Chapter 5, Part 2. His latest appearance is in Chapter 5, Part 3, when he died.

Oinkers: Oinkers is Steve and Sulphur's pet pig that was found stranded on an forest area.

Oinkers appeared in Chapter 6, Part 1.

    Prologue
It's been only few days since I bought the game. I glanced onto my computer screen to examine the cubical visuals, and it looked as fantastic as it looked in the commercialized images. I got my fingers ready to control the playable character, and I started to practice a few movements which one's which action. After a few minutes I memorized the complicated (sort of) controls, my head started to feel slightly fuzzy.

"What is this fuzziness in my head?" I questioned myself, inquisitive about the peculiar senses in my noggin. I thought it'd get worse if I get concentrated in the screen to attentively, so I decided to turn off the computer and attempted to take a nap to alleviate the annoying dizziness that's spinning in my mind like a monotonous vortex.

After a few hours, my head felt fine, but I couldn't see anything. I rubbed my eyes countless times what was going on, but the darkness in my eyesight wouldn't budge. I felt a bit apprehensive about the unusual effects I'm experiencing. But I did not give up yet, so I decided to take a nap once more if that choice is a remedy to this problem.

But the first thing I heard was an explosion, echoing in the thick atmosphere, miles away.
Chapter 1: First Day of Survival
Chapter 1: Part 1: Inside the World

The unforgettable sound reminded me that I'm in a war zone. But it wasn't just one explosion, dozens rang. Before the impact was created, I heard a few shouts of civilization. Bones are clanging, groaning sounds are heard from the undead, and I could hear the shrieks of spiders. But later, they just all disappeared, leaving the celebration of the unknown tribe. I reminded myself: Am I really in the world of Minecraft? No, that's a ludicrous reply.

After a few moments of grotesque and graphic noises, my sight is starting to reappear. It was a bit opaque with cloudiness, but the clarity is gradually getting clearer. I managed to walk to the surface where the battle occurred, trying to find something useful. The battlefield had nothing, except for a few craters resulting the explosions from some tactical movements. But I do not know what those craters are created from. Anxiety has captured my body. I was trembling in fear. Maybe I AM in the world of Minecraft, due to the excessive number of blocks creating landmasses and landscapes. So, maybe that's why my head felt fuzzy. I guess that feeling was just to remind me that I'll be teleported into the game, but I don't think no one can think of that.

It looked like the real world, but it just seemed strange to me. Even the trees are made of blocks, although it is made of a certain material. The grass and the flowers looked pixelated. Even the clouds up in the sky looked symmetrical in shape, unlike any cloud from the real world. And even the sun... it's also square.

Despite the peculiar looks of the abandoned world, only one question remains:

    How will I survive here?

Chapter 1: Part 2: Floating Tree Conspiracy

I was lucky enough to read the beginner's guide before the played the game. The task was to chop wood. But... with what? I never thought of chopping down trees with my bare fists. But it's the game, it wouldn't harm me that severely. I got my fists ready, and I started the punch it.

The tree bark doesn't feel spiky nor thick and rough, it just feels like you're punching an ice cube that's be frozen for centuries. The surface was so smooth, I could bite down this trunk. The first wood block was obtained in my inventory, but the tree didn't fell down. What is this conspiracy?

The tree is floating, without the bottom wood block. But it wouldn't budge, and I wondered why. I punched the second bottom wood block and it ended up in the inventory. Still, no matter how many times you punch the wood out of its existence, the tree never falls down. But I noticed something strange: the number of leaves are diminishing as soon as I get rid of the wood blocks. So I intended to punch as much wood in this tree as I could, reaching my hands up in the air, to get the last wood block out of its life.

The leaves dissipated, dropping a few items. A couple of oak tree saplings, and an apple dropped on my head, with an another apple on the ground for me to pick up. This could be my first meal: two apples dropped out of the tree.

So, my punching skills can finally be in use. I never thought that the fragility of the trees are THAT vulnerable.

Chapter 1: Part 3: To the Safest Spot

I have punched and broken down a dozen trees, leaving me a stack of wood in my inventory. My hands never grew weary nor bruised, so I can basically punch anything. After a few moments of leisure skips, the sky began to grow darker. Well, the dark wouldn't hurt me that much, it's just there to interfere you what you're seeing. Unfortunately, I misunderstood the darkness. A couple of weird creatures are being summoned right next the oak and birch trees, and then it started to attack me without a significant purpose.

I got shocked and jolted into the air in fright, and I managed to run as fast as I can to make the mobs lose their sight of the target. The skeletons are the worst. Their arrows are sharp as needles, and their dexterity outnumbers most of the people in real life. Running to safety, I got a damned arrow pierced in my buttocks.

I found a very steep mountain to climb in front of me. I'm usually a substandard climber, but I had no choice. But climbing was easy in this dimension, blocks are there to help you, and I can jump at least a meter high (since each block is about a meter high, according to the intellectual people). Most of the acrobatic skills in this game seems to be a big advantage to avoid the deathly attacks of the hostile, eerie mobs.

But the mobs weren't easy to avoid, they are keep following my movements and the footsteps constantly. I thought I was done for, until I found a cave system beneath the floors of the dirt ground. It was a long drop, but I had no other decision but to go down into the cave. I closed my eyes tightly and jumped into the cave. My feet hurt slightly, and my health seems to be decreased a little, but it was worth an attempt.

The mobs suddenly vanished in my sight. I was lucky to accomplish the task.

Suddenly, a strange female voice came to me. "Hello... nicccce to meet you."

    End of Chapter 1.
    Chapter 2: Meet the Creeper
Chapter 2: Part 1: An Explosive Companion

I was shocked to see an anonymous creature next right to me. She appears to be green-ish looking and has dark, empty eyes and red scarlet chains as her pupils. But the only thing I can't comprehend is her speech, always extending the usage of the "s" sound every single time she uses it, like she's a python or something.
"Um, hello," I replied to her in a very awkward tone. The girl giggled.
"You look a bit worried, aren't you?" the girl appears to know my feelings accurately.
I intended to reply once more. "Well, why ask? Your body looks green and your eyes are black with red pupils!"
    "It's becaussssse I'm half-creeper, half-human, sssssilly," the girl answered.
"A creeper? What is this 'creeper' you're talking about?" I said inquisited.
"A creeper issss a creature that explosssodesss at ccccertain people in a close range. We often don't do that, but at some occasionssss, we actually have to do it in order to defend oursssselvesssss."
"Well, that's not pretty defensive at all. That's committing suicide!" I worried about their purpose.
"But we do that for honor. That's a creeper'ssss life." The creeper girl said.

I was surprised to see her not attacking me.
"Honor... isn't that line used for guilds? I asked.
"That'sss my home... but not anymore." The creeper girl shrugged her head.
    "Why not?"
"Just becaussse I'm a half-human hybrid. But I'm ssstill a creeper," she answered.
"Well, that's bullcrap. Why can't you just explain it to them?"
"I tried to, but they won't accept it." The creeper girl's melancholy disappointed me.

"Creeper. Your name is?" I forgot to ask her that question long ago.
"Lil' Sssulphur. But you can call me Sssulphur," the creeper girl asked. "Yoursss?"
"Steve. Stephen Persson," I answered. It's strange to have a common name. "Would you mind if you stop extending the usage of the "s" sound, if you can? It's scaring me the freak out."
    "Oh, sorry." Sulphur laughed.
"Sulphur, it's okay if you don't have a place to live. Stay with me." I asked her because I felt so lonely all by myself.
    "Like... friends?" Sulphur questioned.
"Yes. Friends." I was no longer alone anymore, and I was happy to have a partner on my side.

Both me and Sulphur shook hands, symbolizing our partnership.

Chapter 2: Part 2: Crafting Tools Aren't Simple

It's been only three minutes since my partnership with Sulphur was made. I am very lucky to have her, because she was educated well on about a human's life in the world of Minecraft, like studying the tools and cave systems. The darkness of the sky is still existing, but I know the sun will eventually rise up, thanks to Sulphur telling me that there's only 7 minutes of night time, compared to 10 minutes of day time. The other 3 are the sunrise and the sunset, each 1 minute and 30 seconds long. But due to the very short length of the full day, I worried that I might age a lot faster, like I was diagnosed with a progeria syndrome.

Speaking of syndromes, Sulphur is diagnosed by one, too. It's a very rare disease for creepers, known as the explosion syndrome. Her number of sulphur atoms deteriorates every hour, so she's unable to cause explosions. So basically she has a longer lifespan, but her honor cannot be obtained.
Sulphur opened her eyes widely. "Look, the sun is rising!"
"But what about the monsters that were summoned at night?" I worried.
"Some mobs are vulnerable to sunlight. That's why they stay beneath the shade of the tree in order for them not to burn up to death."
"Are creepers weak to the rays of the sun?"
"Nope, not really. We're sulphuric, and I don't think the ultra-violet waves can affect us severely."
"Well, let's go out of this cave," I hesitated to get out.

"Wait!" Sulphur exclaimed. She indicated her finger at my bag, or the inventory.
"What about it?" I asked in question.
"Do you got wood in your inventory?" She interrogated.
"Um, yeah, like a stack of it."
"Perfect! Get the wood out of your inventory! I'll show you something." The wooden blocks are held by Sulphur's hand, gently. Sulphur, concentrating, got one block and metamorphosed into four different kinds of wood, which it surprised me.
"Four wooden blocks? How does one wood block clone into four? But they do look different..." I felt so curious.
"They are wooden planks, basically used for building houses." Sulphur held the four wooden planks and it changed its appearance once more: into eight sticks.

"This is quite an evolution of blocks," I said.
Sulphur continued to make a few blocks into planks, and turning the planks into a crafting bench.
"It needs 4 wooden planks to make a crafting table, Steve, 2 by 2," Sulphur taught me. After she placed the crafting table onto a position where the 9 squares are shown as a grid, Sulphur put the sticks and the planks on my hands, and she started to point her finger to the certain area.
"Now, put the stick on the bottom-middle and the middle-middle squares," she asked. I followed what she told me.
"Now, put the 3 planks on the top row," she command me once more. I put the planks where she specifically asked.

There was also an another square next to the 3x3 grid. I pressed it, and a wooden pickaxe popped out. The only thing I had in my mind was amazement. I never thought it'll take that much skill to craft my first tool. In excitement, I grabbed the pickaxe then I hesitated the hit the trees with it. I thought it was a more efficient way to chop down the plantations more faster, because my fists consume time much more.
"Steve, you're not supposed to use the pickaxe to chop down trees!" Sulphur laughed at my ridiculous action.
"Then what am I supposed to do?" I asked in confusion, I thought it might work.
"You need an AXE to chop down trees, not a pickaxe," Sulphur said. I guess I didn't read the manual too attentively before I ended up in this world.
"An axe? I guess I could try to make that by myself." I didn't wanted to look like a newbie to Sulphur, or that'll be embarrassing to see a guy who doesn't know how to craft a single item.

But I do feel kind of embarrassed. But I guess Sulphur understands that this is my second day, inexperienced.

Chapter 2: Part 3: Herobrine in the Trees

Making the axe was as simple as the pickaxe. All I did was putting the two planks in a vertical line, and placing the planks in a position where it belongs, like a real axe. Crafting is like drawing a picture but with placing the blocks on the certain place. So there it was, a wooden axe was created on a crafting table. I grabbed it and started to swing it around the trees. Sulphur grinned while getting the cobblestone blocks, and I don't know what's the purpose of getting those sedimentary-looking stones.
"Steve the Lumberjack, what a perfect title!" I exclaimed to myself moronically.

The wooden axe chops down trees a lot faster than fists. I guess it can conserve time much more sufficiently, since that was the accomplishment I wanted to have because of those spawning monsters in the dark. I just despise those mobs. Especially the highly skilled skeletons and their arrows sharp as jagged glass shards. If I can craft a clock, then that's my first priority. But cutting wood is much more important. As soon as I cut down the trees out of their lives, it just gives me a lot of gifts, like oak tree saplings and apples. I know what apples are used for, but I don't know what these saplings do.

"Sulphur, what are these tiny broccoli-looking trees are for?" I asked the intellectual creeper girl.
"You plant them on the ground so you can have more wood for yourself to chop down," she answered.
    "I guess I'm gaining a little self-sufficiency, aren't I?" I smiled.
    "Eeyup," Sulphur nodded.
I placed the saplings, at any empty space that needs to be filled with such wondrous plants. But I wish there is more vegetation for me to consume other than these apples, which I'm getting a bit sick of. I want meat, or bread, or anything that's worth to eat. As long as it's edible.

After I finished placing the saplings, I saw a mysterious-looking figure behind the far trees. It appears to have a same shirt as I have. I wanted to have more companions at my side, so I intended to ask this person.
"Hello? Can you hear me?" I asked. The standing figure gave no reply.
"It's okay, I won't hurt you," I asked once more. This unidentified being doesn't show any sign of replying. But I didn't wanted to give up on this person who looks like he lost his home, so I decided to march towards him until he's able to notice me or at least hear me. I stopped when both of us are subdivided by 10 blocks away.
"Hey, if you need help, you can at least reply," I asked gently. Once again, the person gave no reply.

This person has empty eyes, and he looks exactly like me. He kind of looks like a clone of myself that belongs in the contradicting dimension. He doesn't even move at all, not even a single flinch of his muscles.

The mysterious being said only one word: Herobrine.

After he spoke, he walked away into the distance. I was unaware of him.

Chapter 2: Part 4: Diamond Discussion

Encountering the Herobrine was an unusual experience. I was quite frightened to see the man without pupils, so I intended to ask Sulphur because she probably has the information about it. I'm getting closer to the cave we both are dwelling, but before I could get there, darkness has risen up. More skeletons, spiders and zombies are roaming in the forest, waiting for its encounter to eliminate. I quietly tip-toed into the cave, where Sulphur is mining coal ores, in order to keep the mobs not noticed.

"Ah, Steve, what took you so long?" Sulphur showed a worried expression, since it's night time.
"I saw Herobrine," I asked. Sulphur's eyes got wide open, stunned.
"A Herobrine? Isn't he dead already?" Sulphur finds it unbelievable.
"No, I saw a man that looks exactly like me. He doesn't have any pupils in his eyes," I described him, leaving Sulphur in fright, probably worried because Herobrine is not presumed deceased. But I didn't want Sulphur to get a bit apprehensive, so I abandoned the discussion to replace it with a new topic. "So, we should build a house."
"Sure. I think having shelter is important in order to keep monsters away from us," Sulphur happily accepts.

I walked to the crafting bench with 2 stacks of oak wood in my inventory. I transformed the wooden blocks into 512 wooden planks, which it's equivalent to eight stacks. We measured the area the house, and it's approximately 16 by 16 blocks big, large enough to put beds and chests to store our stuff and to avoid the dangers of night time. Sulphur was also standing at her crafting bench and got 8 cobblestone blocks on the table. She crafted it into something that can smelt stuff.
"This is called a furnace, Steve. You can smelt a lot of stuff in there, like cooking meat or making glass," she said. I happily tired to put some apples in the furnace, which it did nothing.
"What are you doing?" Sulphur got confused.
"I'm want my apples roasted. It's my favorite," I said.
    "You're pretty strange," Sulphur laughed.

Sulphur, carrying a few sticks and some coal, went onto the crafting bench once more.
"That crafting table can make everything," I said.
    "Well, not everything," Sulphur said.
"But that table... what items do we really need to make some goodies?" I craved good items to use.
"One gem that is the purpose to every player's existence... diamonds."

    "Diamonds?" I asked.
"Yes, they are the rarest gems that is useable to make fine diamonds tools, armor, and a lot of stuff."
"Is there anything else rarer than those?"
"Actually, emeralds are the rarest, but they don't usually make anything."

During the conversation, the house is complete.

"Wow... now I want diamonds badly," I said in greediness.
"They're not that easy to find, you know. They're usually above the bedrock or near lava lakes."
"What... there's lava here?" I was shocked.
"Of course, silly. This world has every single natural material like the real world does."
"Well, I don't care how dangerous it is," I said gallantly, "I never found a diamond in real life, so this is my chance."

"But you need some preparations," Sulphur said.
    "Preparations like what?" I said.
"We need to find some iron first."

    The iron hunt now begins.

    End of Chapter 2.
    Chapter 3: Into the Mine
Chapter 3: Part 1: Going Underground

After the discussion of getting diamonds, we have one more requirement in order for us to get the expensive, rare jewel. That requirement is having iron tools. Sulphur explained that the diamond ores are pretty strong to pick, so iron or diamond tools are only eligible to mine it. After realizing that my wooden tools are inefficient from now on, I've decided to use a stronger type of tool: stone tools. Sulphur also explained that iron ores can be mined by stone tools.

"How do you make stone tools?" I dumbly asked Sulphur.
"Making the stone tools is like a same method, but the only difference is the type of material you're using," she said.
"Ah, so it's just 3 stone blocks in the top row, then," I asked. Sulphur nodded her head.

Once I got 5 stone pickaxes in my inventory, I wanted to head into the cave further. Sulphur paused me for a moment.
"What is it this time?" I grunted, impatiently.
"You probably need some torches and some swords, too," Sulphur said.
"What are the uses for those two?"
"Torches light up the cave, and the sword kills the mobs. Do you know how many mobs spawn underground?"
"Even the mobs spawn beneath the earth?" I was shocked to hear that.
"Of course, any place that is low in luminosity is a monster's home." Sulphur was also worried about the dangers.
"So, if I put the torch on the cave walls, the monsters won't come nearby?" I questioned.
"Well, the monsters will attack you, but they won't spawn there anymore."
From that moment, I made a lot of torches and some swords. But I didn't wanted to get my inventory full.

We are definitely ready to go; we have 2 stacks of torches, an abundant number of stone tools, and some apples for us to eat in case we get hungry. Probably this is will the most intense experience we both can have, but I was happy about the probability of getting the fine loots we can collect inside our home. I glanced at our wooden house for the last time before we go in the cave. The house was lighted up and stayed protected.

Going underground will be the memorable moment me and Sulphur will spend.

Chapter 3: Part 2: The Ravine

The first passageway we'll encounter lies on our feet. I turned my head to Sulphur's face then she nodded, representing that both of us are ready to go. We both are starting to roam in the first obstacle, turning our heads to scavenge for some ores to collect. All I see is some blocks of coal, but no iron blocks are there. I shrugged in melancholy.
"Don't worry, Steve, there's still more areas to explore," Sulphur said.
"Yeah, let's go further," I replied.

It's been a half-hour so far, and we gathered 30 blocks of iron. We've gone too far, in my opinion. At least Sulphur was putting the torches on the right side of the cave walls, so we can tell that the way to home leads to the torches on the left side on our way back. We're very deep in the cave system, and I felt a bit worried because our chances of getting lost is most likely. Due to my worries, I couldn't even watch my step. Sulphur yelled at me to stop my movements.
"Steve! You could've fell in the ravine!" Sulphur grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
"A ravine? What is that?" I interrogated in fright.
"Take a quick look and see," Sulphur indicated her index finger at the ravine.

It was a beautiful sight. Although it's slightly dim, but the lava and the water currents are somehow right to each other. In the middle of the connection, I see something purple-ish or black. I do not know what it is, but I intended to ask Sulphur what this block was.
"Sulphur... that black stuff under there... what is it?" I questioned, slightly intrigued.
"That's obsidian, one of the naturally created blocks. You can see the majority of it underground," Sulphur answered.
"Well, can you pick it up?" I was wondering if that's possible due to its rough texture.
"It's pretty difficult to pick these things up. It requires a diamond pickaxe and it takes about 10 seconds to collect that block. It's used for a few purposes, like building a portal to the Nether."
"The Nether?" I was intrigued once more. "It sounds spooky."
"It really is spooky, if you actually know what it is," Sulphur answered again, "it's like hell."
"Well, whatever it is, I don't feel like going there," I said cowardly.
"But going to the Nether is important! Although it's scary, but it has something that no other place can get!"
"Like what?" My confidence grew slightly bigger.
"Um, I can tell you if it's time for us to go there," Sulphur asked.

This Nether place... I was quite interested to go there, not concerning about its freakish nature. But the only concern I had in my mind was to get out of this cave system to head back home.
"I don't think we're defended enough to go further. Let's head back," I asked Sulphur.
"I guess you're right. I was a bit eager to mine some diamonds, too." Sulphur grew impatient over the gems.
"Wow, you have a bit of an obsession of diamonds," I amused myself, not offensively.
"Before I'm the only creeper capable of getting one! No other creeper can do that, y'know," she felt lucky.
"You'll have your opportunity sooner than you expect," I grinned. "Now, let's go back home."

As soon as we're arriving back to our comfy, but a quaint suburban-looking building, we paid close attention to the torches, that are on the left walls of the cave passageway in our point of view.
"Remember... torches on the left..." I carefully reminded myself.

I just wished that we both arrive safely, without an interference, or anything dangerous.

Chapter 3: Part 3: Under Siege

The light to home is getting closer, and I could feel that my wishes are coming true. But Sulphur suddenly stopped her step, her eyes wide opened, looking like she saw something that she's traumatized at. I was worried because I've never seen Sulphur act like this in an instant.
"Sulphur? Are you okay?" I waved my hand in front of her face in case she's frozen or not.
    "They're coming..." Sulphur said quietly.
    "What's coming?" I asked.
"Steve! We should run!" Sulphur yelled in fright. I was wondering why I was asked to run, so I intended to glance behind me. Behind me was pure darkness, probably because the torches suddenly ran out of fuel.

Unexpectedly, an arrow was shot near me. I realized Sulphur and I are both under siege. Hoards of skeletons are coming towards us, and we tried our best to avoid their accurate shots. One almost hit me on my neck, and Sulphur remained okay so far. Our wooden house is getting near, about a dozen blocks away. I ran as fast I could to get to the door, and I opened the door for Sulphur, who is running behind. She got in, and I closed the door after I got in through the entrance. As soon as I got in, the skeletons didn't move, just looking around the house, looking for any signs of humane intelligence.

"Why are the skeletons not attacking our house?" I questioned in big confusion. "We have glass windows!"
"Most of the monsters can't see through glass nor through blocks," Sulphur answered.
"Well, that's convenient," I sighed in relief. The hostile mobs were too dangerous for my substandard defense.

We've got about three dozens of iron ores to smelt, and at least two stacks of coal to use.
"Well, what are you waiting for?" Sulphur asked and smiled. "We got iron to smelt for some weapons!"
"Oh yeah, making an iron sword to kick these monster's butts," I got my fists ready. I shoved an abundant of iron blocks into the furnace along with coal to smelt. I got a handful of coal to use, until Sulphur grasped my hand.
"Y'know, it only requires 8 coal to smelt a full stack of blocks. Since we've half of the stack, I guess four is enough."
"Ah," I got amazed by her beneficial facts, "thanks." I put 4 coal in the furnace and waited until 2 iron ingots are smelted in order for me to craft a sword. To save time, I put a stick on the bottom row-middle block grid on the crafting table. Two iron ingots are finally smelted, and I quickly placed the ingots where it should be.

"I got an iron sword ready and it's time to kick those damned monsters out of my misery!" I yelled.
"Go, Steve, do your best!" Sulphur encouraged.
With my sword gripped by my tough hands, I swing my sword at the skeletal inhabitants, clanging their shabby bows with my dominant weapon.

Finally, I was proud to be a fighter, a swordsman, even a very powerful one. I will strive to increase my strength.

    End of Chapter 3.
    Chapter 4: Gaining Sufficiency
Chapter 4: Part 1: Sacrifices are Sorrow

After the perilous battle between me and a hoard of skeletons, the fight resulted in a satisfying success. The skeletal hostile mobs dropped a few significant items: an enchanted, used bow, bones and arrows. Finally, the mobs really did something worth it for me, giving me a weapon without an attempt making one. Unfortunately, a new concern came up in my mind. It's not a shortage of resources or ingots, we're on a shortage of food or anything consumable. The number of apples diminished instantly after the adventure to the mine.

"Steve, the sun is rising!" Sulphur yelled in excitement.
"Great, now I'll go get some food!" I yelled back in joy. I got out of the cave to look at the glamorous view of the rising sunlight. The small pond right next to my feet is reflected by the sunlight, and that sight is supposed to make me dehydrated, due to its pure texture. But somehow, I'm not feeling parched, just slightly famished. I went further into the forest, looking for some meaty inhabitants that roams around the plains. The good thing is that Herobrine is not around, since that strange being gave me a feeling of apprehension.

After minutes of long-going travel for some cows or pigs, I found a herd of cows standing next to the trees eating grass leisurely. I felt so sorrow to let them get killed without a warning, but I had no choice but to kill them. I got my iron sword gripped by my right hand I ran to them in an ambush. The cows noticed me, but they did not run away. I swung my sword and injured the first cow of the herd, and the cows are panicking, trembling that it's their history. I attacked the same cow once more, and it fell down with its heart sunken in misery.

One cow sacrifice was too grotesque to see. It dropped two raw beef portions and one leather, and the cow vanished, leaving nothing but a puff of dust. But that wasn't enough, so I intended to attack a few more cows. The cattle starts to mourn for their lost of their kin, so I killed them while they are in a deep melancholy. It is probably the nicest thing that I did, since they don't have to suffer for their loss of their herd members.
"I'm sorry cows, but your flesh will be consumed and be remembered," I said quietly to myself.

I got back into the entrance of the cave where our wooden house is, with Sulphur extending the house into two rooms. Sulphur waved her hand at me until she saw the sadness on my face.
    "What's wrong?" Sulphur wondered.
"Well, I did murdered some cows... but they looked so terrified." I said quietly.

"Sulphur, is there a way to get food without killing animals?"

Chapter 4: Part 2: Harvesting has Begun

I couldn't handle the sacrificing of the innocent animals. I don't think it is best for me or the creatures.
"Steve, of course there is a way to make food by yourself." Sulphur answered politely.
"Really? Like what?" I was glad to ask that.
"Bread, melon slices, pumpkin pies, cakes, but you don't really need to make that big of a variety."
"Wow, perfect!" I shouted upon with joy. "So how can I get the bread?"
"All you need is to get some wheat seeds from the grass and plant them until it reaches to its mature stage, then you can make some bread by accumulating three wheat stalks on a crafting bench!"
"Wow, that seems a bit strenuous," I worried a bit. "But I guess it's worth a try."
"You will know that it's all worth it. Besides, now it's time to gain some self-sufficiency, don't you think?" Sulphur gave me a wink to make me memorized that.
"Um, yeah, of course I can do it!" I triumphantly shouted with glee.

Sulphur came outside along with me, just to chop down numerous trees and replant them, due to our deteriorating amount of wooden planks to construct with. I glanced onto the patch of grass, abundant and pure, and I started to pick them up with my bare hands. As soon as my powerful punches destroyed the vegetation, a couple of wheat seeds came out to me. I knew a couple wouldn't make that much of a harvest, so I intended to slice down the majority of the grass around our dwelling area, to get as many seeds as possible. After a hundred punches and demolishing, it appears to be that about forty seeds ended up in my inventory.

Sulphur, who is extending the bedroom and the storage room, glanced on me arriving back to our home cave.
"So, did you get a lot of seeds?" Sulphur asked.
"Indeed I did," I gave a big smile due to our first harvesting day.
I got my iron pick and started to make a large hole right next to our house to put some dirt and the water. It created a big 6x6 square, and I assumed that it's big enough. I gathered some dirt and positioned them in a certain row between the water lines.

After crafting a bucket from 3 iron ingots, I got outside of our home cave to look for some water. The pond that was next to my feet had an abundance of fresh, purified water, so I got my bucket and scooped the water until it ascended up to the edge of the bucket. Although it is quite energy-killing, it was all worth it. But how can I get enough water to fill up 3 rows of water?
"Sulphur, I don't think the pond will have enough water to fill these rows," I worried.
"And that's why this world has some weird physics that can make life much simpler!" Sulphur smiled.
"Physics? Like what?" I wondered what she was trying to define.

Sulphur, with a bucket on her hand, told me to make a 2x2 hole next to the garden. She scooped and poured the water into the hole twice, creating a flat water source. But I didn't realized how this is beneficial to harvesting, so I just picked up the water in curiosity. Somehow, the amount didn't differentiated as soon as I took the majority of the source, it just stayed at the same level. I was shocked, but I thought it was some kind of an illusion, so I picked up the water one more time, then again, again, again, countless times.

Sulphur laughed when she looked at me trying to eliminate the source, but it just looked impossible. This physic is somewhat incomprehensible for me, because I've never seen anything like it before.
"That is called an infinite water source," Sulphur hesitated to answer before I could make an another move.
"In... infinite!?" I was quite stunned to hear that.
"Yeah, this is one of those peculiar things that you see around in this game, but I think it's really helpful!"
"At least it's better than walking all the way and back just to get a bucket of it," I said.

The water rows has been filled up, the dirt blocks are hoed into its harming land state, and I got some seeds to plant. I planted one by one, filling up the farm land of healthy wheat seeds.
"Well, I guess that's it," I finished the production. "I think we have to wait for days."

A few days later after making a lot progress extending our house, the wheat seeds finally matured to its highest peak of their growth.
"The wheat grew," Sulphur asked me. "Make some bread."
"Alrighty," I replied, going to the farmland to harvest the wheat. Eighteen wheat stalks from eighteen blocks of farmland ended up in my inventory, and I got onto a crafting bench to put some wheat on it. It successfully crafted six bread pieces, enough for us to eat. But it's time to get more by replanting the seeds back to its beginning state.

Me and Sulphur finally had a good meal of bread. All this time spent was worth it.

    End of Chapter 4.
Chapter 5: The Guild of Explosives
Chapter 5: Part 1: Herobrine Escaped

Few days have passed after the success of making bread, and we have made a lot of progress: extending the size of the wheat farm, our house has some nice cobblestone texture on the corners of the room, and the roof is annexed at the top of the house, made of stairs from cobblestone also. Although we are not experiencing a shortage of raw materials to use, we still need to accomplish one mission we haven't made through. And that mission is getting diamonds. Me and Sulphur weren't too concerned about the rarest usable jewel existing, but we really wanted to get at least one of those, since they are one of the most efficient materials.

"Sulphur, we should-" I said, until Sulphur covered my mouth with her hand.
"I know, get diamonds. I think we are quite ready for this, aren't we?"
"Of course. Let's go back to that ravine we visited earlier," I replied.

We got our iron armor and tools ready for protection, and to get ores unreachable for stone tools. Prepared to get the rarest jewel in the world of Minecraft. As soon as we started to head down in the cave, we heard the marching noises of the footsteps, calling for help. Sulphur suddenly got shocked and sprinted to the wooden house to hide.
"Sulphur, why are you hiding?" I said in a quiet voice.
"It's that guild I got excommunicated from," Sulphur whispered back.
"Well, what's so bad about that? You can just go greet them at least once."
"They don't trust people who aren't creepers," Sulphur advised.
"What about you?" I pointed it out because she IS a creeper.
"I'm not entirely one." Sulphur shrugged.
"Don't worry, I'll go ask them something. You stay there," I asked Sulphur.

"Assistance is needed!" The leader of the marching line shouted. The line appears to be a group of creepers--- the normal looking ones, with four short legs and their red pupils glowing, like a bioluminescent firefly. I headed to the group, and I wondered why these hostile creatures are eager for help.
"Excuse me..." I asked the creeper leader.
"Oh, good, a person. Um, mister, we need your assistance." The leader said.
"What do you need?" I asked.
"Name's Creephys. It appears to be that Herobrine has escaped out of our castle jail walls. If you witnessed this monster, please explain where was the last time you saw him."
"Herobrine, you said?" I recalled him. "Well, the last time I saw him, he was actually in the shadow of these group of trees over there," indicating my finger at the certain birch tree.
"Thank you. Soldiers! Look for evidence!" Creephys commanded his minions.
    "I'm Steve," I introduced myself.
"Are you alone here?" Creephys questioned.
"Well, not exactly alone. If Sulphur wasn't here on my side, I would've been dead by now," I chuckled.

"Sulphur?" Creephys got stunned. "You mean that half-creeper half-human hybrid?"
"Oh... oops," I said quietly. Creephys, enraged at the excommunicated member of his established guild, Creephys tied-toed silently into my home cave to the wooden house, where Sulphur is using the house as a hiding place. Creephys yelled and scared Sulphur, making her jolt in an extremely high elevation.
"Oh, it's you!" Sulphur got furious. She looked red, almost stressed enough to make her explode her sulphuric atoms out the world.
"Ah-ah-ah, there's no need to be mad, lil' abandoned one," Creephys mocked.
"What do you want?" Sulphur replied in anger.
"Well, um, you probably didn't know about this ever since you were out of our tribe earlier, but Herobrine escaped out of our castle walls."
"Herobrine? How did you have the opportunity to capture him?"
"We just frightened him by hissing at them. Although it's a damn pain to our health."
    "Then how did he escaped?"
"I don't know, but we did found some leftover gunpowder lying on the jail surface."
"He must've brought some explosive TNT in his inventory! You know the jail isn't that resistant when it comes to a big impact as powerful as the dynamite!"
"Well, unfortunately, I guess he did escape."
"You're no fun. You could've just attacked him."
"We tried, but an average creeper's explosion is no match for such a powerful being."

"An explosion powerful..." Sulphur used her thinking skills.
"Pfft, what is it this time?" Creephys sticked his tongue out to mock her intellectuality.

"Ever heard of charging creepers with electricity?"

Chapter 5: Part 2: When the Lightning Strikes

Many creeper soldiers were slightly intrigued from Sulphur's idea, claiming that it might work. Creephys, grunted in disbelief, turned his head away from Sulphur. Sulphur was intimidated by his negative review.
"Well, at least it won't get that less priase than your own protection ideas!" Sulphur yelled her lungs out.
"I guess I have no choice but to let you do your own business. It's insufficient to see that," Creephys said.

Creephys came near my ears and whispered.
"Sorry, Steve. But I won't assist you unless you leave this Sulphur freak."
"Meh, you'll regret it," I replied sarcastically.
Creephys left back to his throne. The low-classified soldiers, with their sulphuric spines tingling, are dispelling a few footsteps away from us, because of their fear of lightning.
"Aw, c'mon guys, this could work!" Sulphur yelled.
"Soldiers, it's either you'll die in honor or get killed without a warning." I said to them.

One elite creeper came towards me to say his reply.
"Sure, but we wait until the thunderstorm comes."

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A couple of days of long wait has finally concluded with dark, gloomy clouds coming from the distance. The creeper soldiers, triumphantly marching to their battle positions, are eager to be hit by a severe electric force. There was a big extreme hill outside the castle walls, and they marched to the hill at the same pace, and at the same timing of stepping their green, clawed feet digging in the grass. Sulphur and I also walked forward to the very steep hill, to see the results if it goes successful.

We finally arrived at the peak of the hill, where the clouds are the darkest and the most furious. The elite creeper who accepted our request gallantly stood up on the highest block of the hill, waiting for its electrical encounter. He faced his face upwards to the clouds, hoping that it could work.

Zap. The first lightning struck him in a perfect direction. The elite creeper, first was shocked, but then amazed at the glowing blue light, surrounding his body spinning like a vortex.
"It... it's working!" the elite creeper said in excitement.
"You're now a charged creeper; your explosion power is doubled," Sulphur said.
"So, at this rate, I could defeat Herobrine in no time!"

The other creeper soldiers suddenly got eager to obtain the tremedous power, and they all sprinted to the tallest block of the hill, waiting for the lightning to charge their powers.
"Hey, hey, hey! One at a time!" The elite yelled at the careless soldiers.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Creephys, who is sitting on his throne thinking like he's always been doing, suddenly got interrupted by the cheers of the soldiers. The front gate opened and many creepers instantly ran into their positions at front of the leader. Creephys got surprised that the soldiers have blue energy sources circling around his minions. Sulphur and I came toward to Creephys, who has his mouth opened wide.
"Oi," Creephys whispered to me, "the heck is this?"
"It's the lightning, Creephys," I replied. "The lightning increased their explosion power."
"Hmph, you should thank me," Sulphur grunted at Creephys. "Your chances of defeating Herobrine elevated to the highest level."

"What?" Creephys shouted. "I should thank you for this? You'll see after the results."

Chapter 5: Part 3: The Unimaginable

Creephys raged at Sulphur for interfering his ideas of defeating Herobrine. Although Sulphur's plan is more decent than any other plans Creephys made, he hoped to see her fail when the results are represented as a failure. But only if Herobrine is somewhere near outside the castle walls...
"We only need Herobrine to get inside the kingdom," Creephys said. "How can you do that, hmm?"
"I'll lure him here," I said.
    "Steve... but how?" Sulphur questioned.
"I remember seeing him when I was chopping down some logs, because he looked exactly like me. The only difference between the two of us is the eyes. I don't think Herobrine has eyes."
"So... your point is..." Sulphur said.
"I can lure him here by faking myself that I have empty eyes, so he can recognize me as an another individual of his kind. I can just roll my eyeballs upwards until the sclera is only noticeable."
"I guess that could work," Sulphur said.

"I give the whistling signal. If I whistle, the Herobrine is coming," I said. I ran outside of the castle into the forest. I retraced my steps what I did on my first Herobrine discovery. I got into our home cave, and got out onto the surface, then into the forest where the oak and birch trees are abundant. Later, I recognized the same spot where I discovered him, but the trees are chopped out, and I don't recall harvesting some wood out of that area. I knew Herobrine was doing something: probably trying to restart his life outside. Finally, I found Herobrine at least a dozen blocks away, who is crafting something on the bench. I disguised myself as Herobrine by rolling my eyes upwards into the eyelids so my pupils won't be noticable. Of course, I have to be really conspicuous about not exposing my real form.

I stomped on the grass so Herobrine can hear it from here. Luckily he noticed, and he just stared at me.
"You..." the weird person said. He let go of the sticks from his hands and started to run towards me. I got freaked out and I decided to run to the castle. Herobrine didn't noticed that I wasn't one of them, and everytime I turn my head back to him, I keep my pupils remained into the eyelids. I could see the gravel road that accesses to the main gate and I gave a loud whistle to let the people know what Herobrine is somewhat nearby. I sprinted after giving the signal, then Herobrine acted the same way by sprinting, also.

"He's coming," I told Creephys and Sulphur as soon as I rested my eyes.
"Battle stations!" Creephys commanded to his minions. The elite creeper, who is standing strong in front of the militia, decides to go attack Herobrine first.
The elite creeper starts his explosion by giving the farewell to his fellow friends. "Honor to Creepers!"
As soon as Herobrine is right in front of the elite's feet, the elite sacrificed himself by releasing a gigantic, charged explosion of a radius of 12x12 blocks, and the smoke remained and it looks like Herobrine has disappeared.

Herobrine was presumed dead, but until the sulphuric smoke dissipated and Herobrine is still alive, with his arms covering his white, hollow eyes. Herobrine raged and decided to speak his first sentences.
"How dare you... all of you do this trying to kill me..." Herobrine showed his anger at the feared creepers.
"Then leave us alone," Creephys commanded. "Never pulverize our kingdom!"
"Whatever. You'll regret for what you did... consequences will follow you..."

Herobrine disappeared away from the castle, and we were shocked by the Herobrine's unbelievable defense. Creephys got in deep melancholy, seeing the elite's remains on the ground. Creephys picked up the gunpowder and suddenly enraged.
"Sulphur..." Creephys mumbled in anger. He was right about Sulphur's results representing a failure.
    "Look, Creephys... I'm-"
    "Get out. You're excommunicated. Permanently."
Sulphur suddenly got tears in her eyes. "But... I was trying to help..."
"Well, you shouldn't have done it in the first place! You dishonor us." Creephys shouted.
"Fine! I didn't even wanted to see you!" Sulphur ran away, sobbing.

"Steve," Creephys said. "You should go with her."
"I can see that," I shrugged.
"She can't stay alive without you. Just go and continue your partnership."
"Ok, Creephys," I said. "Thank you."
"No need to thank me." He replied for the last time as soon as I headed towards my home cave.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was near the cave, and rain started to pour down on my head. I sat on the stone block outside the cave and sighed in sadness. I could hear Sulphur crying from here although she tried to assist Creephys to protect his empire. At the same time, Creephys and his fellow minions are near the flower patch in a funeral. The elite's sulphur remains are placed inside the coffin of the elite's grave. The funeral was mourned by his friends and family.

It is a sad day for me, Sulphur, and everybody else I know.
My mission to find diamonds is still near, and that could be the only chance to alleviate the sadness out of Sulphur's heart.

The elite's soul was as pure as a diamond, and his honor will be kept in memories.

    End of Chapter 5.
Chapter 6: The Quest for Loots
Chapter 6: Part 1: To Seek Happiness

Sulphur is still remained despondent because of her permanent excommunication from Creephys, who got enraged at her unfortunate plans that failed, making a casualty. I am thinking hard to find a way to bring back happiness to Sulphur. It looks like she's been criticized by a professional critic, and the person who receives the reception turns out to be the one that gets disappointed, like Sulphur is right now. I was thinking of getting Sulphur a cute, passionate pet to keep. But I thought that would be too hard, so I just started thinking of a different topic.

Instead of hearing Sulphur sobbing, I'm starting to here her screaming in fear.
"Steve! There's a zombie around our house!" she yelled. I knew that was going to happen because the home cave has a low luminosity, which the monsters actually spawn at that low light rate. I got my iron sword on my hand and ran to the home cave to attack the undead beast. The zombie first glanced at me, turning aggressive. My iron sword slashed the decaying life form and it died beneath my feet. As soon as its existence starts to disappear, an unusual vegetable suddenly appeared at the same place where the zombie died.

"That's a carrot!" Sulphur cried with joy. "That one thing I haven't eaten it at least once!"
"Then I should grow these first so we won't make them disappear in an instant," I replied. It was pretty convenient for me and Sulphur, since a dangerous, flesh biting mob could give us such a decent gift. I quickly went through every step of farming like I did to the wheat farm, and one carrot was simply placed in the fertile block of farmland of the newly-established carrot farm. Although I was really happy that our dietary meal variety has improved, Sulphur did gave a little, faint smile, but her expression didn't changed as much as mine did. I tried to think to take Sulphur back to her energetic, loving state, but I had no choice but to harvest these carrots until the farm has no more vacant land to fill.

A short Minecraftian week (approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes, since one Minecraftian day is approximately 20 minutes of gameplay) has passed and the number of carrots multiplied numerously, and it was quite enough to get consumed. I went outside to get more wood to craft some more fences to keep our home cave safe, and I heard something making a squeal from the distance. I started to run to discover what that mysterious noise was emanated from, so I traveled deeply into the dense forest until the home cave isn't noticeable.

There it was what I discovered; a small, vulnerable pig that looks like it's been injured. I thought it was Herobrine who resulted the attack to this poor, innocent creature, but it doesn't look like he's the one who attacked it, maybe because he took a slight fall damage, since there is a extreme hill right in front of me. I decided to make it follow me, but it wouldn't budge. I got one carrot out of my inventory, and the pig started to follow me, maybe the carrot gave him the interest.

I made him follow to the home cave, and Sulphur looked at me in a surprise. Sulphur gave me a serene smile as soon as the pig oinked in relief. We decided to keep it because it looked so lonely when I found him in the forest.
"Let's name him Oinkers," Sulphur giggled joyfully. Now it looks like she's back to her active state than just being trapped in melancholy, which it made me happy, too, because I don't want anything bad happen to her. Sulphur is a poor soul who seeks a good life and I don't want her to get lost out of that wish. Oinkers scampered in joy, after having a saddle on his back, which was made from leather dropped from the cow massacre.

Partially, it was Creephys's fault for making Sulphur disappointed. But I know it's best for him to protect his empire, his noble acquaintances, and everything he wished to keep it safe. We were glad to have this young and well-spirited pig on our side. Now he has a family, and he will be inside our cozy home, safe and sound.

Chapter 6: Part 2: Walking in the Ravine

We almost forgot that we planned to go diamond hunting, until the Creeper guild interrupted our journey. Now it's the time to accomplish a difficult achievement that everyone is eager to finish: getting diamonds. Oinkers is peacefully sleeping next to Sulphur's wool bed, which means that we don't have to let him recognize that we're going to a dangerous journey. Me and Sulphur put up our iron gear for excessive protection to keep our bodies safe, and Sulphur randomly got a bucket on her hands and scooped it in an infinite water source next to the wheat farm.

"Sulphur, why do we need the bucket?" I questioned her in curiousity.
"Didn't you see the ravine we discovered days ago? Down there is a perfect level for diamonds, and there might be a lot of lava pools that you don't want to risk your life going! So that's why I got this bucket of water, that actually hardens the lava into walkable obsidian!"
"Cool, didn't you said that the obsidian is used for the Nether portal?" I replied to her.
"Exactly, but we can't obtain that block without a diamond pickaxe."
"Aw," I got disappointed, "I was eager to see the inside of the Nether."
"I'd prefer you not to go there early," Sulphur warned about the conditions of the unexplored world.

We got our iron pickaxes, a perfect amount of food, and an essential water bucket to carry to the dangerous journey. We also got a stack of cobble which we can make a stairway in case it's a fatal drop down there. Prepared and feeling brave, me and Sulphur roamed into the cave entrance where it leads to the ravine. We followed the torches that are noticeably erected on the right side of the cave passageway, and I have the feeling the diamonds are inside the ravine we luckily discovered.

We encountered a few hostile mobs, like the feeble zombies and the bad-aimed skeletons. They weren't no surprise, but my biggest concern is the lava pool that is fatal from one footstep on it. We finally discovered the ravine, still looking beautiful with a vien of iron stuck in the other side of it. There was no supporting staircase to descend safely, so I carefully placed the cobblestone blocks in a stairway-type position. It approximately forty blocks deep, so we had to use the majority of our footsteps in a very precarious way. We finally got onto the bottom floors of the ravine, and it's not made of stone or a vein of ores; it appears to be we're standing on obsidian that was naturally created by a combination of water and lava.

I was in charge of looking around the ravine for some goods while Sulphur is in charge of hardening the lava pools with a bucket of water. First I found this mysterious-looking ore that has a red tint on it, and I touched on the ore and the red stuff appears to be some kind of powder. I was idiotically curious, so I attempted to lick the red substance until Sulphur grasped my arm and said it was a bad thing to eat.
"That thing's called redstone," she finally replied, "these things are used for mechanics and many things!"

I found an another ore that I never seen, and it appears to have something yellow-ish inside of it. It wasn't powder, so I intended to mine it to see and to make Sulphur classify this peculiar block. I showed it to her and she was slightly delighted to see it.
"That is gold, it's used to make powered rails and clocks and other mechanical stuff!"

I also discovered this another ore that seemed much rarer than the redstone or the gold ore, because it appears to have some kind of a blue tint inside of it, and it does look quite appetizing. I mined it with my trusty iron pickaxe and the ore metamorphosed into a blue rock as soon as I picked it up. I showed it to Sulphur and she got stunned at the glamourous color of it.
"That's lapis lazuli, and it's used for dyes!"

Man, it was like a mining lesson class or something. I mined so many types of ores that are inside of this resourceful ravine, but I never found any diamonds so far, just a few bats flying around me that are intrigued by our unusual appearance. But they are very useful, and it does many things other materials can't do. I was happy to see these wonderful blocks and ores. Now I feel like a millionaire.

Chapter 6: Part 3: The Vein of Enderman

Exploring in the endless ravine, we accumulated more than a stack of every single ore that was inhabiting inside of this resourceul system. Gladly, there was no hostile mobs trying to kill us, which means this cave is quite adaptable for us. I planned to make a well next to our house that actually connects to the ravine, since the passageway is just zig-zags that leads to the underground.

But my biggest concern is the diamonds. Now I feel like I completely misunderstood the rarity of one, single blue gem, because we've been exploring the cave system for a few Minecraft days now. All I find is the worthless lapis lazuli, and a few gold ores that are the least efficient for tools. Redstone can come in handy, because we can make traps around our house perimeter so it can protected from hostile mobs that wants to take one by one block out of our cozy home.

Sulphur grew weary, with a bucket of water grasped by her hand. Our food supply starts to deteriorate. All of my tools are about to get destroyed from its tiring usage of mining ores. Finally, the ravine has now lead us to the dead end, so we can go back home. When I about crying with my knees on the hardened obsidian because of our mission coming to a failure, I suddenly noticed a tiny blink of light that appeared in my eyes. I thought it was something shiny, like a diamond. I got my almost-broken iron pickaxe and started to mine the stone walls blocking the ore, and this was our last hope.

One stone block... two stone block... and the diamond ore has finally got exposed.
"Thank you, god of Minecraft... thank you..." I almost cried my eyes out from finding this glamourous-looking gemstone. A shiny, aquamarine blue diamond ore got mined from my pickaxe, and it appears to be there's an another diamond ore right behind it. I kept mining until the vein of diamonds is completely vanished, and ten... TEN diamonds got accumulated inside my inventory, and I joyfully jolted in the air in happiness, so high, that I can deal some fall damage. Sulphur gave me a hug for finding diamonds, and we both decided to make a diamond pickaxe for getting some obsidian.

At the same time, Herobrine is actually looking at us, and I haven't noticed him standing right behind the stone walls of the ravine. Sulphur immediately got the crafting bench and placed it on the floor so I can get a chance to create the strongest pickaxe ever made. Now we have seven diamonds left, which it's pretty good enough to make other tools with it. Sulphur pointed her finger at the shallow obsidian area where there's no lava underneath. Her creeper senses peculiarily tells her about the certain areas where the lavas still exist, which it amazes me, because I didn't know mobs have the ability to sense that, but they just don't listen sometimes.

I got my trusty diamond pickaxe and I hit the first obsidian block on my first time mining with a diamond pickaxe. Somehow, the obsidian blocks take a long time to get picked. Sulphur also told me that each obsidian block takes about 9.4 seconds to mine, and recommended me to gather about fourteen of the blocks, for later usages. Me and Sulphur each took turns of getting the obsidian, because it's just strenuous to mine at least one single block of that hardened lava source. Finally, after three minutes of energy-consuming work, the obsidian blocks are finally inside my inventory, and it seems like it's almost out of room for me to put in. As soon as me and Sulphur started to head back home, I heard a familiar voice.

    "Diamonds..." a mysterious creature said.
"That sounds like Herobrine," I replied, leaving Sulphur in fright. Somehow, Sulphur took away the frantic feeling and ran towards him with her iron sword to attack. Herobrine stood still, not worried about her overpowered attack. In surprise, Herobrine suddenly summoned one Enderman in the battle premises, and Herobrine commanded the Enderman to attack Sulphur. Herobrine teleported away so he could continue his perilous plot.
"Sulphur, get out of there!" I yelled at her to make her safe. I ran at the Enderman as soon I crafted my diamond sword, the most perplexing and the most powerful combat weapon ever created. I pushed Sulphur out of the battle zone so she won't get killed, then I intended to slash the sword at the 9-foot tall, black figure with purple eyes of a reptile.

The Enderman opened its jaws, symbolizes that it's aggressive on me. It teleported before I could make my second slash on its thin legs. It teleported back into my perimeter with a block of dynamite carried by its hands. He threw it at Sulphur, who is about to get traumatized at the Enderman's horrifying appearance, and the TNT was about to create an impact before Sulphur is able to avoid it.
"No! Sulphur! Watch that TNT block!" I cried.

Boom. The TNT exploded right next to Sulphur, and I thought she was done for. Luckily, the smoke started to dissipate and Sulphur is still there, alive, but she looked much more powerful. Sulphur probably absorbed the energy of the TNT explosion, since she's a sulphuric hybrid that gains much more strength from having more explosives inside of her. Sulphur raged and gave out a loud cry which paralyzed the Enderman, who is covering its bleeding earholes. She zoomed at the injured Enderman and killed it with her iron sword, in one slash. After being attacked by one, the cry of the Enderman is still ringing in my ears and all I could hear is the horrifying jaw clenching and static thats emanating inside of me.

Sulphur finally gained consciousness by controlling herself from her absorbed power, then picked up the ender pearl that is lying in the ground. I stood up and my legs started to limp, because the shout was so loud, I could barely hear the noises surrounding me. Sulphur gave me a lift with her arm wrapped on my shoulder, so I could get my walking position ready.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We got back to our house and Oinkers appears to be sleeping still. I opened the wooden door and hugged the pig because we finally came back from danger. Oinkers woke up in surprise, and he doesn't know why I was doing this to him.

Overall, we have five unused diamonds and fourteen obsidian blocks safe inside my inventory, and I dared myself not to go back to the ravine again, because I can tell that Herobrine might be wandering in the caves.

    But I couldn't forget that Enderman. I don't think it's possible.
