We seem to have had an invasion of squids in the pool...

    They're also in the fountain.

Do you plan on adding high-res weapons and paintings (and anything else that you haven't done yet)? That's my only complaint. My weapons look so odd. >.<

I plan on completing every texture in the pack. I just about have the gui complete. I'll post that update soon. It takes a lot of time to work your way through a 128 pack if you're trying to get them all just so. I personally don't mind tohe tools, so I haven't had a burning desire to replace them. Thus other elements came first like the gui. But I do have plans for them.

Wait till you see what I have planned for paintings!

In the meantime, misa has some damn nice tools and armor if you haven't seen them yet check em out.

Awesome! I can't wait to see what you have cooked up! This and Glimmar's Steampunk are my favorite texture packs so far. :biggrin.gif:

Really neat! I don't think I'll use it but it looks quite unique. Keep up the good work!

From what I see you texture pack looks awesome and I would love to use it, but If I try to run Minecraft with your pack in the texture loader folder, the game wont even get to the menu screen it just crashes. Any Ideas?

I had this same problem, but then I fixed it by following the directions exactly. Don't do anything out of order. For instance, I had the texture pack already in my texture folder before starting the patcher. No go. Deleted my minecraft folder, started up Minecraft for a fresh install. Following the directions exactly (except for some reason the button to open the texturepack folder didn't work so I had to manually open it up) and it worked like a charm.

    Great pack, by the way!

Thanks Cheldog! I'm glad you're enjoying it!

I also modified the instructions to make it clear that you should not per-install the texture pack and otherwise cleaned it up. Thanks for the feedback! Feel free to give me suggestions and criticism on the pack if you have 'em.

After loading it up and using it there are just a couple things I don't like. First, it's so darned dark! Even with torches everywhere it's much, much darker than the default texture pack. Can barely see anything.

    Second, why brownish smoothstone?

Great looking pack but I don't think I'll be using it for any of my current worlds. Maybe if I start up a new one with this pack in mind I could get used to it, though. :smile.gif:

I just ordered a new 1TB hard drive last night so you guys will be getting updates as frequently as we build! That is, as long as I feel like putting up with the long uploading and processing time for YouTube. :tongue.gif:

As for the map, I found it. Took me hours of searching and googling, but I found one here. It's about 1000x1000 flat blocks, then ends in an impassable wall of adminium.

    Awesome! - Thanks a whole bunch. :smile.gif:

    Happy to help!

Yeah, it does look pretty barren outside the mansion. Maybe we'll do *something* to spruce it up a bit!

You should make some super-secret basement thing, with a portal to hell in it. Or at least, that's what I'm going to do to the mansion I may or may not build at some point.

Also, after you're finished with the mansion - Do you intend to perhaps build a town somewhere near it? That might be interesting, and the school you have planned wouldn't be completely useless since the children of the town could go there.. :biggrin.gif:

Possibly! I'm not sure on the details, as I'm not the creative mind behind the whole project. Maybe I can get my girlfriend, fparkyr, on these forums and she can give you guys a bit more insight into the whole idea behind the whole project. All I know is there are going to be a couple big towers behind the mansion. I'm not sure what the plan is after that, whether there will be any more buildings on the map.

Still floors me the amount of work you guys have gone into. I lucked out and got to see this ages ago on a different forum.

Woo, Belghast! Thanks for the continued support! :biggrin.gif:

New video! Updated my first post with a link, but here it is again:

Looking pretty awesome, especially the empty wing (although I know you're going to fill it eventually), looked pretty cool. Also, I liked the part where you said that you're probably going to add secrets around the mansion - Cause those'll be pretty interesting to find.

Keep up the great work, and I'll keep following your progress! :iapprove:

Yeah, we're planning on making the secrets fit with the mansion, too, so they don't seem totally out of place. Stuff that you might see in an ancient castle-like structure. Getaway tunnels, secret passageways leading to other rooms or even other wings, etc. They won't just be meaningless "oh we wanted to hide something for you guys to find so here it is!".

Also bumping for the day crowd. :biggrin.gif:

Here's a bit of an update. We've been working on it the past couple days. The "back" wing, officially called the "Blue Wing" has been completed, roof and all. The other wings are getting their roofs worked on, and the "left" wing's (the Red Wing) interior has begun construction.

Thanks to my friends and family (fparkyr, Daxetan, and Rusthoof) for working so hard on it and thank you everyone else for all the great support! Means a lot to know there are people out there that enjoy our project. :iapprove:
