posted a message on Trouble With FPS While Recording.
I've been trying to record Minecraft videos, but for whatever reason when i start recording my FPS drops to 9. No more, no less. I've tried Optifine, I've tried turning the Render Distance all the way down, I've tried turning nearly everything down and it doesn't change. Even if I turn up the render distance, it stays at exactly 9 FPS. No matter what I do, the FPS will not go above 9.

On a single player world I normally run 40 - 50 FPS, I am using the Bandicam Demo, and this FPS problem only started happening recently. I can record other games just fine.

    Any ideas?

Yeah I know about that biome and it would be similar and possibly spawn nearby those ones, but the trees would be monstrous. And yes, treehouses in those would be amazing.

posted a message on Redwood Forest Biome
Minecraft, for a building game, should have a lot more types of wood and trees. I think a perfect addition to the game would be the Redwood Tree. It is found in British Columbia, CA and in northwestern USA, and it is the tallest tree in the world.

These tall trees would have a Dark red or brownish red bark. And the planks would be dark and red.

    (maybe not so red)

I think with such a large tree, the base should be 3x3, and be twice or 1.5x as high as the large 2x2 spruce tree. The biomes would be rare, maybe not as rare as a mushroom island but still quite rare; they should be something special.

I think that this tree would be a great addition into the game and would be useful for the builders of Minecraft.

posted a message on (IDEA) Hardcore Apocolypse Survival
Although this is technically not a video, I felt like this was the best place to put it. I might do a series on it myself.

I had this idea the other day that was inspired by the hardcore PVP matches that the guys at Mindcrack do.
Basically, there are around 6-12 people on the world in total, and they spawn on an large island. And as in any hardcore world, if they die, they are dead for good.
Each player would be using a mic, but you could only hear them if they are close enough. If they are too far away you cannot hear them. (If they die, their mic cuts out)
On this world, there wouldn't be creepers or spiders. Just zombies, many of which would have weapons and armor, and they would come in groups like in most zombie apocalypse games.

I think this would be a really fun challenge to do, tell me what you think and what I should add to this. Also tell me if there are any youtubers doing something similar to this.
    Thanks for reading.

posted a message on Keep the Enchanting System as it was!
Ok, so let's be honest here, Minecraft is far too easy. Mojang is continuing to make the game even easier than it already is. The only things that present a challenge in Minecraft are the Nether and the End.

Now they have begun to screw up the enchanting system by making it far too easy as well.
It's not like it needs fixing or anything. It's perfect as it is.
Is enchanting things that hard for people that they had to make it tell you what you are going to get? Half of the fun is not knowing what you will get on your tool, and the satisfaction of getting something good.
And it doesn't make any sense that it now costs lapis lazuli to enchant. What's the point of it?

    My Suggestion:

Keep the enchanting system as it was. Get thirty levels, not know what you are going to get, and without the use of lapis lazuli.
Also keep repairing the way it was. If you are going to fully repair an incredible diamond pickaxe with loads of enchants on it, it should make sense that it costs loads of levels.
That way, Minecraft will still have some challenge to it.

Tell me what you think, if you don't like the suggestion tell me why.

posted a message on I need assistance with a story!
So I made a map to build on, and I decided that it would be much better if I turned it into an adventure map. Although, I never was talented with making stories.
I need someone to come up with some sort of problem, and a resolution. Like every story needs.
Just make up a story off of this:

    *Wakes up from a shipwreck*
*You have a quick look around, noticing that the crew has been killed in the accident.*
*You climb out from the wreckage, and see that the ship has been crashed up against some large, spiky rocks. You look up, and see a huge island off in the distance.*

-The island is heavily forested with a waterfall and a beautiful mountain.-

*You go to the island and wander through the woods until spotting a small village off in the distance*
*Not sure if hallucinating or not. Go towards it anyway.*
    ____________________________________________________________________

So that's what I got so far. Of course I left out a lot of details for the sake of being quick about it but I feel that's a decent summary.
So if you have a good idea for a conflict, tell me.

If you get the winning idea I will give credit in the map. Also will have a link to your Youtube Channel if you own one.

posted a message on "/mob " New Command
I had an idea for a really helpful command that would be useful in mapmaking, servers and custom games.
It's a command that allows you to do different commands involving mobs in Minecraft. Such as enabling and disabling, and other things.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So first off, the mobs would need to be numbered, like effects or items. (If they aren't already!)
    Example:
    1 = CREEPER
    2 = COW
    3 = PIG
    etc.

Here's how it would work. You do the command, and then choose a mob by its ID. Then you write what you want to happen to the mob, such as "Enable" or "Disable". Which would allow you to decide what mobs are allowed to spawn in the world. (Example: "/mob 9 disable")

    Ideas? Thoughts?

posted a message on Simple Infinite Chicken Farm (Endless chickens and eggs!)
I made a cool and simple machine that generates endless amounts of chicken.

How it works, is you throw in some eggs to make chickens, and those chickens lay eggs. The eggs then go into hoppers and then a dispenser where it is shot out to make more chickens. Which make more eggs.

The more you have, the more eggs get shot out.

    Video tutorial here :

If you could check out the video it would be really helpful for my channel. thanks.

posted a message on More Map Maker Tools
Recently they've been focusing quite a bit on map making, it's great, but it could use more.
I have this idea for a section of the creative menu that has all the map making tools you would need.

First off, it would need to be 'unlockable'. We don't want random noobs having access to these tools, which may be powerful.
It would have to be a command that is unlisted. It could be something like "/toggle Mapmakertools" or something. Just something to keep noobs out of it (They've already done this with command blocks, where you have to spawn it in rather than it being in the menu).

Now for the items in the menu.

Light Block - A block that is invisible to those in survival and adventure. It is used to create light where you don't want a torch or glowstone, etc. In some maps, having torches all over doesn't look right. So having a light block would be handy.
You can walk through this block and would be almost unnoticable to those who aren't in creative.
Right clicking on it will pull up a small menu to customize colour and brightness.

Command Block - The command block that's already in the game would be added to the menu.

Force-field - An invisible block that is about the width of a glass pane. It would be completely transparent and you can't walk through it.
    __________________________________________________________________________________

    Other tools:

2x2x2 chunk - Used to place a chunk of blocks that's 2x2x2. Useful for making larger builds. 8 blocks.

3x3x1 platform - useful for making large platforms or floors. 9 blocks.

Tell me which of these should be added to Minecraft.

    Quote from Rainwalker

I am fine with it as long as they won't be more hilly(swamps are flatter than plains thus the best building spot)

I agree, swamps are really hilly for some reason. Same with plains. They shouldn't have any hills at all, it's supposed to be flat.

posted a message on Help with a Skyblock series!
    Quote from Nny

    How about this.

You're only allowed to use wood. No cobblestone at all.

Well how would I do anything really?
    Quote from MidnightCrew33

I don't have an idea but maybe I could join you in your series.
And I'm amazing at Sky block also one thing that comes to my mind
is you should challenge us to make a 100x100 Platform and a Big Cobblestone generator
Two Big Houses for me and you and if we play on Skyblock.net we can play Mob Arena
And save up for horses and saddles. but if we don't then we can also Have a productive farm
And a big tree farm. also we can add a mob spawner and play on hardcore so if we fall we are out
And if we dont play on hardcore we cant get our stuff back

An interesting idea, but I'm afraid I can't do it on a multiplayer server. I need access to creative mode and such. Not to mention I lag horribly on servers. You could still help me though. See if you can think of any challenges to make it harder, but not terribly tedious.

posted a message on Help with a Skyblock series!
As many of you are aware, quite a few people make skyblock series. And I want to as well, but I don't want it to be like other people.
I need a twist. Something that makes it stand out. For example: Sips_ is playing skyblock on Hardcore mode, to make it a bit different. Other people set challenges for themselves.
So I need someone to help me think of a good twist, to make my series stand out. A challenge or something would be pretty cool.
Try not to make the challenge a really long, tedious task.

Note: If you think of a good idea and I use it then your channel and credit will be added to the description!

Channel here, in case you want to see the series when it comes out. http://www.youtube.c...lPqNRv_B2cUENJg

    Thanks.
