So with capslock being broken on Macs since at least January of last year and with no sign of that bug being fixed any time soon, does anyone have any idea of what can be done to set-up a 'toggle' key for Minecraft? (Other than taping down the mouse button, obviously.)
I find the sound of footsteps (yours) to be really annoying. Since there's no seperate slider to make that quieter than other sounds, is there any way I can shut my feet up, it's really distracting, especially when the music doesn't play.
That doesn't matter, if something sells as a cross-platform product, IN NEEDS TO WORK AS A CROSS PLATFORM PRODUCT. I don't give a crap that it works if I have something else, I want it to work on what I have. As advertised.

MAke sure your getting a tour from someone who's been there a few hours. Missing a day or two tends to result in people build large gold pyramids on you, thus rendering a tour a little more difficult... "And over here is, um.. wait, I don't recognize.. where the hell are we?"

right now, there seems to be a definitive and logical reasoning to where you step in and out of portals.
No there isn't. The Logical thing is for it to operate as a portal, not a teleport device.

You cant ask everything from a game that isnt even released in BETA yet. It'll be fixed in due time.
We're not asking for everything. In fact most of us aren't even ASKING for something, just questioning wether or not this is a bug, or a feature, and finding that the feature option is disfavourable to us.
The Nether is primarily for fast travel. However, the new nether blocks are light sources with interesting variation and the nether is a great source of :Portabella:, and if you want resources...

That seems like a rip-off, to me. You can't place portal swirl or anything, and to me, pumpkin/jack-o-lanterns are items, not blocks. But what can you do.
I really hope that this is a bug, and not a feature. I want Portal Basement and Portal Nether to be connected- Basement leads to nether, re-entering portal Nether leads back to my basement. Right now, enter Portal Nether leads to Field In The A Mile East Of My Basement, which to me is stupid. I know some people were all excited "ooh, unlimited obsidian" but... they're already IS unlimited obsidian, just get some buckets, it's easy. Now. if Portals turned into CLAY blocks, I'd be excited, but as is, I find obsidian useless because it's the most boring thing to mine. Takes forever.
diamond ore seems to be way more common now
i was screwing around digging a straight 1x2 tunnel right above the adminium layer and found 4 veins
one of the veins had 9x diamond ore in it
Nothing happens. I select the texture pack, patch it, all runs okay. I open it up- nothing. Default textures for everything. I'm on a Mac, and there's no texture in the folder in Applications, as per the instructions. This patcher just does nothing, despite running just fine. Is this too vague to answer?
Alright, it patched just fine on my Mac. But it never gives me a chance to login with my USername and password when I click on "Run minecraft", so, of course, every server get's "Bad Login" ANy help?
What IS it about the second campaign that leaves everyone so puzzled? This in Minecraft, guys, you can go up and down, too. The library has a glass dome, no? So just pillar jump to the top, smash your way through, and climb over the dome and down the other side. HEck, you can skip the rest of the Porcine Mansion from there, if you don't mind missing some non plot-critical items that are mostly cosmetic.
guys idk if any i mean ANY of u know about this its kinda like a easter egg/bonus level
once u get the shamu mount for underwater with built in air dome
and u go to the hidden underwater temple and fight the kings exspirement wich is a morph of all the evil mobs
then u have to get the air mount and go the air temple and fight the notch faced zues u get white and blue colored iron balls then you must get a lava mount and find the fire temple.....then once you find all these hidden locations(btw there is no enimie at the fire kingdom unless u alert the creeper)once u find them all and u go to the fire temple there is a little telplate at the foot of the throne
it has a hole with a red ball in it and two empty ones
u put the balls in in order of blue then white....then it unlocks a secret passage
inside you find a map
you have to use wit to notice that the x is actually an x marking one star in all the dots
once you find this place in the sky and use your air mount to get to it you will find a tomb.......you have to defeat the space skeleton -since its a space skeleton u cant kill him with a drowning trap since he dosnt need to breath-
then once u defeat him the floor will lower and the ultimate mount (in my opionion) comes out its kinda liek jesus of all animals.........and non animals......and inanimate objects...... its cool will come out the floor....u have won that bonus level (btw i got 180 post mwhahahahah)
