Thanks, so overall no real concern.

Oh, by the way, what exactly do you mean by "ugly edge"?

This is what he means by ugly edge. It may not always be this big, some can be quite small but they definetely are ugly.

Riley watched as Robert got taken away by the guards. They had no proof that he had used any kind of chemicals so they couldn't keep him in the interrogation room for long. He saw Kamon leaning on a wall. "How did they know it was him?" he whispered so softly that no one other than Kamon could hear him.

"You used a poison didn't you? We should tell Kamon if he doesn't already know. And how long will it take for the poison to get here? I should probably grab that handbook."

After several hours of working it was finally dinner time. Riley had gotten so bored that he spent the last hour thinking about a possible escape plan. Unfortunately, he hadn't thought of anything. It would likely take a few days or maybe even weeks for Kamon, Robert and himself to get a plan together.
A strong looking prisoner walked up to Riley as he was leaving the workshop. "What do you want?" Riley said angrily.
"I'm the king of this prison and my men have heard rumours that you have found a way to get out of this prison. SO TELL ME WHAT IT IS OR I'LL SMASH YOUR SKULL IN!" the prisoner roared.
"I haven't found anything", Riley was telling the truth, he had only something that might help.
"You lie!" accused the man and he tried to punch Riley. Riley was ready for this and ducked. He elbowed his opponent in the chest making him bend over in pain before delivering a punch to the chin forcing his head to snap back.

The fight was over as soon as it started when guards rushed in break it up. Luckily for Riley the guards were focused on the other prisoner who was laying on the ground and he managed to get away without anyone noticing. Riley smiled to himself as he walked to the canteen. That was the first fight he had had in a while and it felt good to hit someone again. Riley took a tray of food and sat down at an empty table and took a bite out his bread roll.

Off topic: Yes, like appleflower stated it is an image of a spider, in the Deinopidae family, and are often called ogre-faced spiders.

    I can unfortunately see why...

As Riley and Robert were looking at the book an announcement over the speakers said it was time to go to the shop.
"We'll look at this more tommorow when we have time" Riley said as he left the room with the book. He deposited the book in his cell and made his way to the workshop.

"But they would have to deal with the security first and we don't even know if the prison has changed at all and if it has then this book is pretty much useless." Riley frowned "We should check the locations of all major rooms in the prison and see if the book matches it first. Where does it say the TV room is?"

"Robert look at this." Riley said as Robert walked over to them, "It's an old handbook from when the prison was opened in 2000. I found on a bookshelf in the library before it was burned and I thought it might help with our plan. What do you think?"

Riley walked away from the prisoner with the handbook tucked neatly under his clothes. He heard some yelling coming from the TV room and went to check it out. Turning a corner, he saw Robert headbutt another prisoner and guards rush in to break up the fight. Riley didn't want to get involved and he walked right by Robert but made a series of hand gestures that said "I need to show you something". Robert understood and nodded as Riley walked past into the room.

He saw Kamon leaning on a wall and whistled which made Kamon look around. Riley took the book out of his clothes and showed Kamon. "I found this on a bookshelf in the library. It's an old handbook from when the prison was first opened in 2000. I thought that it might come in handy with out plan" Riley said in a whisper.

Depends on what newer games you mean. Not all games from the same time period take the same system resources.

I mean the better looking games like Chivalry: Medieval Warfare (which I hope buy if I get this new PC) amd Planetside 2 (another game I'm hoping to get).

Just a few more questions. I have a computer in my room (work only so not powerful) and a dead computer. I was wondering if it would be better to salvage the case and power supply from the dead computer to save $100 but buy everything else or would it be better to get everything brand new?
My dad is also concerned about buying all the parts separately in case they don't fit together. Is this something to be worried about or will every part fit together?

Max looked the Robert. He was annoying, but cool. On the other hand, the shady man was a mysterious guy. Max really wanted to know this guy. Anyways, he left to the television room and went to the library. In there, he saw that guy. Riley. He was talked to the shady guy and the "Vacation Man" in the canteen. He went to him and said: "Hello there. How are you buddy? Listen, in the canteen, I heard you. What the hell were you talked about? I'm a friend of the "Annoying Man"."

((Your previous action (setting the library on fire) has made this post a bit useless so I'm going to say that came and talked to Riley after you got away from the guards just to make things less confusing.))

Riley asked the question again but the girl didn't respond. Instead she muttered to herself and continued typing. Riley turned around and walked up to a bookshelf. He spent a few minutes looking for something that might be interesting to read. He saw a small book that was titled "(name of the prison) Handbook" He pulled it from the shelf and flicked through a couple of pages to make sure it was what he thought it was. The book was a handbook for the prison he was being held in! He checked the front to see how old the book was. The date read 6/4/2000 and Riley guessed that this was date the prison opened. The prison must've changed a lot in thirteen years so the book might be completely useless but Riley kept the book just in case it was useful.

As he was sitting down Riley saw smoke from the other side of the library. The library was on fire. Soon a bookshelf caught fire and Riley knew he had to escape. He ran to the shelf where he had found the handbook and picked up two other books that had interested him: "Notorious Biker Gangs" and one about WWII. He hid all three books under his prisoner clothes and ran to his cell to hide them.

Exiting his cell, Riley saw an inmate run over to him. The prisoner said "Hello there. How are you buddy? Listen, in the canteen, I heard you. What the hell were you talking about? I'm a friend of the "Annoying Man"." Riley had never seen this man talk to Robert before so he didn't believe him.
"We were talking about the crimes we had committed. Now if you don't mind, I have things to do.", Riley replied.

Thanks for the reply. Approximately how much FPS would you say this build would get when playing some of the newer games?

Just from curiosity, how much would LvlCap's Origin PC cost?

My dad told me to look for a gaming computer for Christmas so I decided to come and ask the (mostly) helpful community here.

I'm looking for a computer powerful enough but cheap enough to run some of the higher end games (Battlefield 3/4 for example) at preferably high graphics settings with no lag.

My current PC is horrible so I won't post the specs but to give you an idea of how bad it is, without Optifine I run Minecraft at 10-20ish FPS with small render distance, smooth lighting off and all the settings that increase performance.

    NOTES:
    1. My dad hasn't said a budget but I'd prefer it to be $1000 or below.
    2. I have no idea how to put together a PC so it would be nice to know if it's possible to pick out the parts but have it built before I receive it.
    3. I plan to mostly play free-to-play like TF2, Planetside 2, etc on it but maybe some games like BF3/4. This depends on if my dad is happy to buy these types of games over Steam.

Riley saw Kamon give something to a female prisoner (Whisp). He didn't fully trust Kamon even though he had agreed to the plan. It had something to do about the way he walked and hid his face; like he didn't want anyone to notice him. Riley thought it would be a good idea to follow the girl. She didn't look like the fighting type so she shouldn't be much of a challenge if a fight broke out but looks can be deceiving and Riley had no idea if she was in anyway armed with a weapon, so he decided to follow her at a distance.

The girl led him to the library. Riley wasn't much of the reading type but did read occasionally. He looked around the library and didn't see a lot of people. "This could be a good place for us to talk about our plan", he thought as the girl sat down. "What did Kamon give you and why?" Riley growled as he approached her but kept a good couple of meters away.
