I am having trouble in Minecraft because of the lack of animals. I search far and wide, and I find only very few. I have Thaumcraft 3, Optifine, ComputerCraft, and thusly Forge installed, but I don't think that's the problem. Behind my wizard tower, in the jungle, there are tons of sheep. Quite a ways away, near a little cottage I have, there are many cows. No pigs, no chickens, anywhere I look. For Thaumcraft 3, I NEED chickens. I need their feathers, specifically. But I can't find any. Thankfully, I found a few once, and I used their feathers for some stuff, but I can't find any more!
TL;DR there are very few animals in my world. Any ideas why it's so barren?

Hello. This is my first time making a mod, and I made it with MCModGen. I am on a Mac and I am trying to compile it, but I have no idea how to. I tried MCP, but I think that's for Windows. How do I compile it?

Where the numbers are the effective stress level and in the middle is a heavy block on top of a platform of substance. The effective strength level of the substance is 2, so would it fall at stress levels any higher than 3?
What I am suggesting, is a mod that got rid of the arrow model, and replaced it with a sprite that would adjust like a compass while it is flying, like this:
"A way to turn colored soldiers back to grey" Maybe if they go into water they turn grey, and you could give them a water bucket which would do the same thing and not be consumed?
for everyone wandering how to get iron and gold and stuff, look around for "mountains", like big areas of rock, sometimes they will have a staircase. bring a lantern, it will be extremely dark. down there is iron.
Actually, the words on the enchantment table have nothing to do with the enchantment, which is random. It will say things like "explode scroll water" that are really just random babble. When you click on the button, it decides an enchantment.

The arrow may have to be a 3D sprite so that it can stick into walls and stuff, but could anyone just make so that it's a sprite?
