    Anyway, I've been lurking here for such a long time that I feel like I know all of you, but almost none of you know me.
    Please criticize my textures! Also, I am aware that the iron ore has very low contrast, and the diamond ore is currently just recolored emerald, I will change that once I figure out how to make good diamond ore.

    I would like to join the union for a Gold emblem, as I have been working on a texture pack, and would like to get some protection for it for when it's done. I hope I have enough of it done that I will be accepted in to the union. Here is a screenshot of all my completed blocks (The pack is 24x):
    Blocks: (From left to right) Side grass and dirt, Stone, Iron, Gold, Redstone, Emerald, Diamond, Lapis, Mossy Cobble, and Cobblestone. I haven't completed topgrass, that's why it just looks like ugly, resized default topgrass.
    And my canvas, including palettes, and alternate textures.

    Please consider me for the union even though I don't have that many blocks done, or a download yet.

    I found out that I'm horrible at making my own palette, the colors end up looking really bad together. I really like this one, I use it for almost everything.

    I will work a bit more on the ores next time I work on textures. Brightness/color variation would end up being very drastic and would not look good, because I'm using a limited palette. It only has so many shades of each color.

    Like I said before, there aren't really enough shades of each color to have natural looking shading.

    Thank you for the compliment! I think MCPatcher either scales up the textures or just keeps them as is somehow.

    Consider me interested for making a 24x pack, it's evenly divisible by 2, and that's all I need. Not to mention it's divisible by 3.


    There are in game screenshots in a spoiler at the bottom of the OP. I fully encourage you to make a 24x pack, it's very fun to play around with.
