    Possibly in the wrong place, sorry if it is.


    Hey there, I've been trying to figure out a way to do this on my own but so far have come up with nothing usable wondering if the community might be able to help.


    I am wanting to build a partial sphere around a guardian temple that holds back the water. I've been trying to figure out a way via mods and such to generate a "template sphere" I can use as a guide only, though If I have to place the thing and throw away the glass that would be ok too I guess. problem is I'm not sure exactly what size I need it and I only want it to replace existing water not rock or sand or air. Is there a mod I can use to generate this so I can test to see what size I want it at? I've tried world edit but can't quite seem to figure out how to generate a sphere that only replaces water and nothing else.


    I thought about using litematica or schematica but I don't feel like generating several sphere's just to test out if it works or not then trying each one out separately.

    I've modded a texture pack/created a few of my own, they seem to work fine as folders, but they don't seem to show up as .zip files, whilst other downloaded .zips do. Could anyone explain why that might be? doesn't seem to make any sense.

    Ok so firstly let me say, I know this is probably in the wrong place... I have tried MCedit bug reporting but haven't had much luck there.


    For what ever reason when I try to load a certain world in MCEdit it say's it's not a valid NBT file. It loads fine in minecraft and MCEdit can load other so I worlds. So I am a little perplexed as to what to do about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey there folks, I have a small problem.

    I've designed this rail system for in my mines but when ever the mine cart is full it get's stuck at the next stop if there are items to pick up. How would I change this redstone to include a check to see wether or not the minecart is full and to send it on it's way if it is?

    Hey folks just a little confused about the updates. I recently updated to 1.7.8 but when I load it up nothing new is there. I was under the impression that there were a few new blocks like the slime block etc but can't seem to find them in creative mode. Is there something I am missing? or is that still to come?l i've watched a few snapshot reviews and that's where I got the information.

    I thought snap shots were just like beta releases and full on releases such as 1.7.4, 1.7.6 etc were full releases though I may have gotten that confhused alittle bit. Some clarification would be appreciated :)

    Hey there red stoners,

    I've run into a bit of a snag. I'm working on a system that sends a minecart around a track and stops at several stations to pick up stuff if anything is availible and take it to the main storage area. The problem I've run into thus far is should a minecart get full and come to a station or is in a station that still has items to pick up it gets stuck (for obviouse reasons) the comparator switches the rail off to stop the minecart and allow it to pick up items. Now whilst I don't really see this issue popping up it does pose an interesting dilemma. Does anyone know of a solution? Prefereably a tutorial I am no redstone geniuse but no dummy either and this one has me scratching my head. How would one overide the locked rail if the chest is full? Any idea's would be helpful.

    Just a quick question about mods. I don't use many, I use rei's minimap too many items and occasionally I use MCedit. But I find that allot of the mods seem to be stuck on 1.7.2. Are mods rarely updated anymore?

    Hey there folks, I'm just looking for some neat ideas to beautify mob spawners. I have a general mob spawner disguised as a spherical ufo shooting a lazer down onto the ground. But looking for some other ideas of disguising big ugly mob farms such as iron farms, gold farms slime farms etc etc. So if you have a good looking mob farm post a pic i'd love to see what everyone else has created to get some ideas :)
