I'm having a problem. When I got to the "Now click on BootAlphaServer.command and the server should boot up." step, it... didn't. I just got an error message. (No screenshot, sorry)
Then about half of the files in the folder I made for my server got deleted and I can't regain them, since if I try to open minecraft_server.jar it tells me that there's already a server on that port.
So basically, I'm so frustrated that my head is about to explode like this guy's. Can anybody help me?
I'm having a problem loading up my saves in Minecraft Classic. I use Mac OS X, version 10.6.6. Whenever I try to load up an old save on Camino (Version 2.0.6) or Safari (Version 5.0.3), it will load the world but not respond to keyboard input. I can look around, smash blocks, and place blocks, but I can't move, respawn, or even pause the game. I tried Google Chrome (Version 9.0.597.84), and it gave me a black screen. I could interact with it but couldn't see what I was doing. On Firefox (Version 3.6.13) nothing happened at all.
I made some cool worlds that I would like to visit but cannot; can anybody help me solve this problem?
