What past experience do you have at being a staff member? I've had a lot of experience in the posts of staff on Minecraft servers. I have been accepted as an Admin, and consequently promoted to Co-Owner on CyanNetwork, an OP Prisons network. I have also been administrator and moderator on several other, smaller networks which I believe have profited from my work. I also work in plugin configuration, and have worked as a developer on a few servers.
What advice would you give to someone who had to deal with someone younger than them? Generally be patient and don't judge. Young people hate being misunderstood and they must be given free way to express their thoughts. Keep them in line when they get too annoying, but also remember to be patient with them rather than immediately discarding them or being ageist.
How many hours do you play a week on the server? About 8-9 hours.
Why do you want to be a staff member on this server? I want to be a staff member on this server because I love helping out new servers. I enjoy connecting with newer communities and especially like connecting with people over Minecraft. I also believe, since I am quite experienced in my post, I can be a great asset to the server and be incredibly useful in the server's development, to develop it much faster so that the players can have the best experience like I did on several servers. I also genuinely enjoy PvP Factions gamemodes and this server seems a creative twist on the gamemode.
Why should we accept your application over others?
I believe I should be chosen because I have immense experience in my work. Not only that, I am a fast learner and I can easily learn new concepts which I have not worked with previously. I also spend a lot of time and dedication to what I'm doing, and if I work with my full concentration I can get a lot of work done in extremely little time. I also love working on new servers and helping them develop into large ones which is why I apply a lot for newer servers.
I also believe I should be chosen not only for my experience, but also my personality. I am very fluent in the English language and am good at words, so I can communicate my ideas easily to other people. I am also very good at delegating tasks and I can get much more work done in a team following my instructions without being a dictator. I can be silly and sometimes annoying, but I have taken great care to rein in these feelings and I hope I am doing a good job of it.

I am applying for the moderator or manager post since I have been both these posts on several servers and I believe I have done a pretty good job. I've also co-owned an OP Prisons server and have done a lot of moderation on several other prisons, factions and SMP servers. I am very good with plugin development and plugin configuration so I may also look into work as a Developer, or just be able to solve problems with the server and/or its plugins. CyanNetwork is an upcoming OP Prisons network. We expect to release by next month, which is fast considering we started development 2 days ago. We are in need of staff members to help us out in releasing pretty soon!
We Need:
Developers: The role of a Developer is to help configure plugins and fix advanced issues that rely on commands in the server. We need 2 members of this role.
- Moderators: Moderators are required to help moderate chat and answer questions. This role is a crucial one since it is the stepping stone between the community (which includes Helpers) and the main staff team. Moderators are also needed to keep things going smoothly when an Administrator is not around. We need 2 members of this role.
- Helpers: Helpers are around to answer questions and provide help. When a higher staff member is not around to provide information, helpers fill the gap by providing minor information and detail. EDIT: CLOSED
- Builders: Builders, as the name suggests, are needed to build structures for the server. It can be any structure, from a spawn to a small hole. We have 2 spots open.
About:
We're an OP Prisons server, and we started development on the 12th of April, 2018. We have a dedicated staff team who are ensuring that everyone participates and every single effort is taken into making sure this server releases early and safe.
