Yeah, I picked that much up. But, seeing as I don't use Optifine, I still really liked the 3rd person mode.

Quite an overstatement. Extremely buggy usually means next-to unplayable.
This, however, is VERY playable.
I don't feel like I'm testing it, feels like I'm playing it.
Pre-release is an excuse of releasing it earlier than they planned to.
And god, I'm happy they did.

I have no idea how you can come up with something like that in your head. I can barely come up with a little minecraft house with a bed, crafting table, furnace and a chest or two.
