On topic: hasn't Microsoft had other successes? How did they become a big, successful company (aside from making microsoft office)? What sort of stuff does Microsoft do, anyway? -
Sep 15, 2014CalvinBall12 posted a message on [Official] Microsoft has Bought Mojang and a message from Notch.I think we're all missing the point here... Minecraft (hopefully) won't change that much, but the feeling of playing will never be the same for me, as well as for countless others. It was an awesome indie game, but now it will just be playing the game of some massive conglomerate out to make money. I will always love you Minecraft, but it will never be the same.Posted in: News

I recently found what I thought was an uninhabited village, but they were all waiting together in the same house and when I walked in they just stopped what they were doing and stared at me. It was like I trespassed on a secret meeting, or occult ceremony...
That is hilarious.
Also, you should test how bouncy villagers are when dropped on slime blocks. -

Jun 17, 2014CalvinBall12 posted a message on Creepers - a Closer LookPosted in: NewsQuote from MM1001
Well kids, now we just need to keep all creepers from exploding on us. According to this video, when they explode, they release their spores, causing them to reproduce. Therefore, if we were to keep creepers from exploding at all, then they would soon become extinct. Interesting, huh?
Ahh, but taking away an apex predator is very detrimental to the environment. If the creepers go extinct, minecraft would be overrun by Steves, clear cutting forests and making very big elaborate houses.
Anyhoo, that video makes a lot of sense. I believe! - To post a comment, please login.

I shall do well, since I can touch type very accurattely. I have a good deal of practice at it. How am I doing? I am not sure what to right, really.
Interesting. Two misspells, but still pretty good.

*head grows back*
*reads that it is only available on android. Whole body explodes, creating a large crater in the Eastern US.*
On another note, strongholds? Do handhelds really have the cpu for all of this plus the End?

1. Some say that keeping the flashlight off will hide you from Slender, and others say it doesn't help at all. I even heard from one person that you can use the flashlight to trick Slender into going in the wrong direction. That seems unlikely.
2. Some say do sprint whenever you can, others say you should avoid sprinting at all costs.
3. Some say start with the bathroom outward, others say start at the silo and continue counter-clockwise.
4. Some people say that there are conditions for a not being in a specific place. If a note is in the bathroom, there won't be one in the tankers. If there is one in the tunnel, there isn't one in the single tanker truck.
Should I trust any of this?
Also, what is the compound? It is such a weird collection of things. A massive bathroom, a silo, this weird pipe, a cross of brick. It's such a nonsensical collection of stuff that the answer that makes the most sense is that the proxies made it for Slender to satisfy his lust for the hunt. But that is a boring solution to the question. Also, when I see the two rows of de-limbed trees, I can't help but think of Herobrine. What are your thoughts?

Side note: at what point does an indie company get so powerful it stops being Indie? Is that even possible?
