What about reading the installation instructions?

What about telling me where these instructions are? Nothing I can find on the first page and I'm not going to search 600+ pages.

posted a message on Crash on World Load - Forge + Optifine + VanillaEnhanced
I've replaced forge, uninstalled and reinstalled java, used a world backup and it continues to crash. Just a few hours ago I tried installing various mods but none worked so I removed them, this is when the crashing started. Before the crashing started, I had used these same mods for days with no problems.

Can anyone tell me what is happening?

Hi, I just found your mod and figured I'd give it a try. It won't work with 1.8 (I figured I'd try), so I was wandering if you had plans for releasing an 1.8 version anytime soon or had a early release version?

are you guys just ginoring or honestly not have read my idea

i would just like a yes or no response and if no a reason

btw i am just concerned not angry

You come off in both your posts as believing you deserve an answer because you are special in some way, this is a put off to many people.

I can't speak as to why you've not been answered yet but you've only waited two days. They are dealing with a rather large mod and might not have time to answer every question. Also, this is not the first, nor is it the last time someone is going to ask about this exact same thing. If you really need this added to game, there are mods that add in pokemarts, bikes, bags, etc. Use one of those.

Which would you rather have, more Pokemon or months spent developing a currency, mart and shopping system?

This idea of "yours" is rather poorly put together, if you want them to actually consider putting this in, give them a reason. Explain the reasons for it, how it improves the overall mod and how it will benefit the future of the mod. How might it work, etc.

Check spoilers in first post on Optifine forum thread. Light has "L" in it's filename, Ultra has "U", Standard has no additions.

Standard is the version that's most compatible with Forge and other Mods. Ultra has additional functions but might cause extra bugs. You might as well get Ultra, but if you notice some weird graphical glitches, first try switching to Standard.

Thanks for explaining that, I also found the correct Optifine version. I did not know there was more than one spot to find the 1.6.4 versions. It all works great now. Thanks everyone who replied to me!

Optifine Light is not compatible with Forge. Get Optifine Standard or Ultra.

    Preferably Standard.

Is that what the L stands for? -_- I grabbed the one highest on the list I assumed it would be Ultra. I'll try that.

And to answer DogKing yes I've also used Magiclauncher.

Edit: Why Standard over Ultra? And does anyone know where to get 1.6.4 Standard or Ultra? I can't find either.

Hey guys! I need some help, there are so many forums now I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place. Someone really should consider removing some of the forums...

    Anyway, I'm trying to install: Pixelmon 3.0.4, OptiFine_1.6.4_L_C9, ShadersModCore-v2.2.2-mc1.6.4-f965, pokeradar, forge-1.6.4-9.11.1.965.

I've been installing Mods & Plugins for several years, this is the first time I've encountered a problem like this.
I can't get Optfine to work unless I use the installer. How do I get around this? (Yes I read the Optifine page, I would not be here if it helped)

I've tried too many things to list. Can anyone help me?

    Age: 24

TeamSpeak/Skype: Yes (May or may not be willing to use)
Looking for: Feed the Beast Ultimate server that is whitelisted and small, 3-10 players ideal.

Very interested in FTB Ultimate server, with out the harder recipes or non-pack mods.

I have a friend who will also be joining me, if someone accepts me.

I'm looking for mature adults, who are willing to work together and not greif each other.

I have several hundred games and I jump from game to game often and I won't spend large amounts of time on just one game. The plus side is if you happen to have those same games I'll more than be willing to add you on Steam if we get along.

(Extra note: I might be willing to try a different FTB pack if it has certain mods)

posted a message on Mojang Capes
Thanks everybody for replying, I've read a lot on capes before but the posts are always really bad and have the dumbest ideas, I was going for more of realistic. When I came up with the $0.50USD I was thinking more towards ppl buying tons of these over the long term thinking Mojang would make more money not losing it. Guess I was wrong on that count.

I don't have the xbox version but I am always hearing about the skin packs which is kinda what gave me the idea, skin packs would never work for pc because people would certainly just copy the skins and give them out but something like a cape if not uploadable would allow Mojang to keep control of it.

I don't think capes would exactly lose there specialness if Mojang only released certain ones once and for certain events or holidays.
Also saying you had the official Mojang cape from MineCon would still bring on epicness.

After reading most of the other cape idea suggestions I had felt the deep need to see a question that had some forethought put into it and I believe I did that here and was given my answer, NO, the majority of people believe this is a bad idea.

    Edit:
I also would like everyone to consider this,

if I buy a pack of baseball cards, and you have a Honus Wagner Card does me owning that pack of baseball cards devalue you're Honus Wagner Card?

No it does not because I did not buy a baseball card pack of Honus Wagner Cards, I got the normal average pack of cards with nothing special inside. I now own a very average unimportant set of cards, it does add to what I have but it does not make me different than the other thousands that bought the pack and got nearly the exact same cards.

What do you think of Majang selling capes? I know most of everyone has always wanted a cape.
What if Mojang were to sell them? For say, $0.50USD?
Would you want one? Would you buy one?
Would you want them to be giftable? Like gifting a Minecraft Account Code.

The capes could be bound to the users account and be changeable at will, like changing a skin except you would have a library of capes you purchased from Mojang.

I know this heads towards micro-transactions and no one would ever want that for Minecraft but I'm not saying adding hats, glasses, new colorful swords. Just capes.

posted a message on Enjin vs Buycraft
    Quote from bjonness98

Okey, but how can I make a website with forum, contact us etc and donation with buycraft ??
Or it is just enough with a buycraft?

Use both, you can get Buycraft for 15 for three months which is really good, Enjin for about 8+ a month. You can set up Buycraft on your Enjin site using a Iframe. Which will allow your users to see your Buycraft store right on your Enjin Website. Very easy.

The Enjin store honestly sucks but is great for a lot of other stuff. That is unless you pay full price for Enjin which in that case you don't need buycraft. But If your trying to spend your money wisely go with Enjin + Buycraft and use an Iframe. Both will offer a plugin, (required for automatic rankings). If you need help after getting both Enjin & Buycraft I will help you a bit further just message me on here and I'll take you step by step.

posted a message on (D)Dos proxy for Minecraft hosting?
No idea, but go with a host. The internet costs long term to even run a good server on a computer at home is going to cost more than the host. And that is if your provider would even allow you to host a server with the internet that will be required. Most don't. As I said, go with a host. Here is a really good host that I use: PlugPayPlay I don't get paid, nor do I work for them. I just really support them.
