Why do you want to play on this server?: I played a server similar to this server, CountryCraft, which shut down ages ago. I've been hoping to find a new community that is alike and this server seems amazing. Also, I've reintroduced myself to Minecraft, and all the servers I've checked out haven't really worked out for me.
What type of builds do you think you could contribute to the server?: Depends on what you need, I like experimenting with many styles, excluding modern; I'm horrid at modern.

Why do you want to play on the server? I've been awfully lonely on my single player worlds and have been hoping to make some new friends and have fun with MC again. I'd love to join the community!
Describe your abilities and weaknesses in different areas of the game (building, redstone, etc): Some people like my buildings, some not so much, so I'd rather leave that for you to judge. For Redstone, I'm adequate to say the least. Don't ask me to make pixel art though, the product will be... "unique".
What makes a server good in your opinion? Multiple things honestly make a great server. One huge thing that sticks me to a server is its community. A thriving, small or not, community is needed on any server.
How active can you be? I can be very active but it will vary quite a bit.
Do you understand the rules? Yes I do.
Tell us about yourself: I pretty much live and die to build in Minecraft... but other than that I play a variety of sports, I love video games, and I'm Canadian. (No, I do not live in an igloo, just by one)
Which server do you want to be added to? (Vanilla, Hexxit, or Both): Both, but I'll probably invest more time in Vanilla.
Why you want to be added to the whitelist?: I like smaller servers but I haven't really been on any vanilla servers and I'm hoping to try one out.As for modpack servers, I love mods in general and use them all the time in single player, but I've never been on a modpack server so it seems interesting, too.
What do you hope to bring to this server and what do you hope for this server to bring to you?: I'm a bit of an introvert and I'm hoping the server will be a comfortable spot for me to enjoy my free time. What I hope to bring is what any other player would bring, another member of the community. I hope to have some good times on the server with everyone else!
What is your greatest skill in Minecraft (this will not affect your chances of acceptance, I just want to know)?: Not sure, but my passion is building in both survival and creative.

CACTUS JUMP is a map that I've been working on for a few months. The map consists of 20 levels and a few bonus levels. The one twist is that the parkour is on cacti. Though this one change doesn't seem like much, it makes it MUCH more difficult. (I died 59 times on my first three levels...) <-- Not a lie
The map is extremely near completion, as I'm finishing up the last few levels... so does this interest you? Tell me what you think!
You'll probably hate me for this but I found this much gold on my last caving trip (I unashamedly admit that I have already made enough coal blocks in my current world to meet the challenge if it were for 8,000 coal blocks instead). Although that was over about a week, so it would take about 2.7 years to get 8,000 blocks.
As for your world, you should make a backup (if you haven't) before trying to load it again because it sounds like there may be a problem (like a corrupted chunk) if it crashes when you try to load it; you can try to load it in MCEdit and see if there is a bad chunk, which you may be able to delete without affecting your world (no real idea of how this works, other people may know more).
Also, loading a 1.7 world in 1.6 will mess up new biomes, converting them into plains biomes, and make new blocks disappear (otherwise, the world isn't ruined; I even tested this with 1.5.2. which really messed things up but didn't make the world unplayable (this used to be a mesa biome, now a bunch of exposed stone with floating lakes and lighting bugs everywhere).
World won't load, I am frustrated... for now I will still search for ANY solultion, but until then... no Gold Runner D:
Well, my gold runner world is experiencing some... difficulties? I might revert it back to 1.6 in order to continue, but I'm trying to fix this, again sorry.
