I like this, Reminds me a little of Pacifilog town in Pokemon R/S/E. It would be cool to see the village connect with the treetops, using the height of the jungle trees to an advantage.
Alright, since I know this is the right thread, here is the picture! I enjoyed this map! I almost rage quit a few times. It was challenging and fun at the same time. Great map!
BTW: Im blocking the view of the last block xD Oops!
Did you complete this in Minecraft 1.0? If so, was it possible to do the fence jumping part after you obtain the first flag?
fun204, parts where you must jump on fences are impossible, especially near after the first flag is obtained. This is due to Minecraft 1.0 has made it so that fences are not one block, instead when the are as they appear, with similar properties to glass panes and iron bars. I must ask, can you please adjust so it is once again possible to beat, or can I cheat? :wink.gif:
I recently started up a private server run on my computer with a couple of mates. Due to my low internet usage available, I go offline after a few hours. Therefore, I tried to transfer my SMP world into my worlds folder and play it in singleplayer.
Although when I load it up in singleplayer, the world loads up, but as a new world. I am spawned in a different area to the normal spawn and the whole world is reset, meaning anything my mates and I built, destroyed, collected, etc. are gone.
So I came to this thread to ask how to transfer my world from SMP to SSP without it being reset back to its virgin self.
Please note that I am running the server on my computer, so I am transferring the world to my minecraft worlds folder on the same computer.
Stupid rotten flesh is more pointless than feathers in my opinion. Unless Notch and the Mojang team decide to make some sort of way to sterilize the rotten flesh with the furnace or in hot water or something, utilizing the new cauldrons. Stupid zombie pigman are stupid now, they drop rotten flesh in the 1.9 pre release...
Although, rotten flesh has one use; feeding your wolves! The wolves do not become poisoned when you feed them with rotten flesh.
OMG epic nerdgasm... THIS is so awesome!!! ME and my friend want to see tron so badly and the neon lights look so sexy, so to see it in Minecraft will just make our lives so much better!
I really like this idea! I support it all the way!
One problem though, I think the torches, tools, shelter by nightfall. etc. would be a pretty hard thing for newbies to come across, let alone the mailbox. By the time they get the newbie letter, they would probably have already worked out the basics, and I think Notch was going to make a tutorial sort of thing for the game anyways, but since it's only in late-Alpha, it is not his number 1 priority.

Still great ideas though!
