This looks like a great mod, and needs some more people to be interested in it. Unfortunately it's been a while since you updated and I don't have a copy of a Jar from 1.1.0, otherwise I would totally try it out. Are you still updating it?

Yea, it's been a very long time. I mean, I thought that it was quite a boring mod, since not many people really liked it. Well, I'll see what I can do, 'cause I've not been in touch with Java for quite a long time.

    Kilyle,
I'm very very very very very very sorry....but I think you should pass my job onto idreaminjava. I've been trying to get out of Minecraft as much as possible, due to the overwhelming work I've been constantly busy working on...I will still help out with you guys..but right now, it's seemingly impossible :( -I will try, as much as possible, to get back to this if I ever have the chance-

I finally setup a github project/repository. Sorry for the long time, I had to battle with ssh, svn and stuff like that. I'm not completely 100% sure how this works at an intimate level, but I think I get the basics. If anyone has github experience, feel free to explain.

    github link: https://github.com/t...harvest-moon-mc

Great! So right now...I have no idea how to share my code with you guys. If you know how, please tell me :)

CGuangJun, in terms of getting the items coded in - prior to any recipes or anything - how far along are we with that? You still waiting on textures, or definitions, or the like? I remember we chose a space for the items, but I don't recall hearing any status past that point.

We're only done with the flint recipe...and in my opinion, that is FAR too slow :( wotsit's setting up a git for us, so we'll be able to make things more organised by then, and hopefully get the alpha done as soon as possible so that we can proceed to the more interesting parts.

I agree with CGuangJun. We need to get this github thingy organized. Does anyone want to manage it or shall I?

I've been bombarded with tests and exams this few months, could do with some help :D

As long as I know what the other coders are doing, I'm able to continue working on the stuff. I think we need to be more ambitious...We're taking too long. I've a feeling we're not getting enough participation :o

Sigh. This thread is way too long to read up on :P What I have gleaned, however, makes me medium-very giddy if you can actually pull this off. A few thoughts.
    1. If you are not using source control (git, svn, whatever), you should correct this immediately if you are serious about things. Dropbox is not source control.
    2. You might want to consider some sort of wiki or other place for more easily documenting what's going on. A forum is great for conversation, lousy for reference material.
    3. There are several major mods out there that do some interesting things with agriculture - Forestry and IndustryCraft2 off the top of my head. You might want to look hard at them and at least contemplate future compatibility.

    Thanks for the advice :D

I made a quick version, but the only one that I personally think looks flinty is the axe however. If you guys like them I will leave them, but don't hesitate to tell me it's bad because I personally think they don't look very flint-ish.

They look pretty huge for the 2x2 flint tools, but they'll work for testing, for now. By the way, the hoe isn't needed, and the "sword" is supposed to be a dagger, not a sword.

If you want a hand feel free to ask me, I am decent at pixel art and would be happy to help while I have nothing on the programming side of things.

My flint tools :P I still need the sprites O.o

CGuangJun, you're our Chief Coder, so pick whichever site you think is most useful and go make an account there. I think this would improve efficiency all around.

Let me know if I can do anything useful for you guys. I'm not really sure what you need that I haven't already done.

    All right, I'll do that.

I apologize for my inactivity. I have a full-time job now, and my previous computer decided it no longer wants to work. I have a new computer so I'll try my best to help out in any way.

I finished the majority of plants and the horse, but unfortunately I no longer have the files. They were very outdated anyway. I suppose I could work on them again if someone could make the horse model and plant textures.

aw man, I would really be glad if I could get the plant files from you.

Also could I just add, that I feel we are lacking at working together. Currently, it seems we are developing different mods for different aspects of the game, surely it would be better to setup a github project so our code can work together; and also see definitively what someone has finished, and what they haven't. I know that would probably up my productivity considering half the time I don't know what to do, and when I am given something to do, that section relies on something else which I'm not sure if its been done or not.

In short, it will be easier.

Agreed. I am already kind of out of things to do, cause I can't experiment, and have no idea what is not being worked on. I have no idea how github works, so I'm also fine with dropbox :D

Patience; we're not even to Alpha Release yet. In fact, I don't think we're even to Indev.

We're working toward Alpha Release, though. The idea is to make the small flint tools, the ore-nugget-harvesting, and the planting, harvesting, and cooking of potatoes all work, and then use that as the Alpha Release, at which point I'll be making a thread on the Mods forum instead of the Mod Suggestions forum.

I'm pretty sure (though not 100% sure) that our mod will then have the name of Moontown, or The Moontown Mod. I'd love to hear other suggestions, though.

I think our other members have really been inactive lately..I'll really need help to proceed, lol.

God...my activeness here is awful :o I have to work on my mod's update, this mod, and my freaking school stuff =.= I'll get things done soon, I think. And as for graphics, it would be AWESOME if you could help. Right now I need these items to be drawn: Flint hatchet, flint spade, flint pick, flint dagger. All of them should be three quarter the size of a normal tool, cause they are supposed to be basic tools that are cheap to make. Link me the sprites in a PM, or just post them here if you don't mind any other people taking the sprites for their own use. Thanks :D
