@CClover
Your processor is basically the best consumer grade one currently available, so no problem there. Your graphics card is good, but I'm not sure how the shaders handle AMD graphics. Also, people with Intel processors usually go for a Nvidia graphics card, but that's up to your own preference. If I were you, I'd cut the processor down to something from AMD and go for an IPS monitor to witness the full potential of the shaders, but you don't have to. I hope I helped.
That's not entirely true... You could potentially run Windows or Linux in a virtualbox (I can confirm that SEUS works on Ubuntu 14.04) and just fullscreen it. I don't know if it would work very well, if at all though
Ehmm i just added a SSD - Crucial M500 120GB Internal SSD: $582. Is this good enough?
I am not sure if Nvidia GTX 770x is compatible with shader and is it good enough for like 40 fps?

I just hope what you are buying isn't an overpriced piece of branded metal. Do you know which company and the price of this laptop?
Also, you may get more power with a desktop if you don't use the laptop for traveling.
Em... It's Apple's 27' iMac. I know that Apple's product isn't the best but i like it's designs and i almost can't live without it.... I might need to install windows on it, and i know this might be over priced- $17088 HKD(2199 USD) with i7. Overpriced?
Em guys... I am gonna buy a new computer for shader so i wanna ask if these hardware below is good enough...
3.5 GHz Quad-core Intel core i7, Turbo boost up to 3.9 GHz (i5 if i can't spend more money)
8 GB memory
1TB hard drive
Nvidia GTX 775M with 2 GB videos memory
Just wanna confirm so i don't waste money XD
Em... I use mac's TextEdit to edit the .fsh but then i compress the Vibrant Pre5 folder to .zip, the .zip or the folder won't work in minecraft.. It only shows default graphics when i clicked on the .zip i compressed. Anyway to fix it or i did something wrong?
Em... Idk if this is a setting problem or what.. I don't seems to get a player shadow and there is some very annoying shadows everywhere on the map. I disabled clouds and clouds shadow.
IGN: CCJClover Age: 15 Why do you want to join our server: Because I had been searching for vanilla server with less lag... I like vanilla because i don't like how the way plugins do.. Like i donated on my favorite server, and then i just don't enjoy minecraft since i have /god /fly. Well, i can't really control myself from /god or /fly so i wanna play on a vanilla server which can change my feel of minecraft. What do you look forward to the most in our server: I am a medieval builder. I can help with builds or even being a builder (If someone made a town and requested me). I help people build town because i tired of the heavy responsibility of a owner. Do you have Skype or TeamSpeak 3: I do. But i do not Skype English people because i do not speak it well. Tell us about yourself: I am a son of a house designer which might be the reason why i build medieval builds with quite good comments from people. I am a student. Fortunately i am in a international school with people full of english, or else i can't really type these english right now
Will You Do A YouTube Series: No, i won't. Due to English Speaking problems.
YouTube Channel Link: My channel is used for watching videos only.
Why You Should Be Accepted: Because it sounds fun and i really enjoy the feel of vanilla while in multiplayer(especially with great quality of people that's why i search for whitelisted vanilla server).
Major City Around You (For Timezone purposes only): Hong Kong SAR China.
Few Words About Yourself: I am from Hong Kong (Which is a big different from people from China). I am 15 so i am currently doing Mid school (I guess that's how you called it). I am a very nice guy (Not kidding), so people don't usually expect me getting mad(Which is kinda a good thing in my opinion). I spent half of my spare time on minecraft which is about 3 hours. I love survival with vanilla. I do minecraft with Sildur's Shader since Sonic ether's shader isn't compatible with Mac OS X. Thanks for reading my 'Amazing' English... Hope you guys understand and hope i didn't write things too off topic .
I am not too sure if the shader is compatible with optifine or not.. Because I might need optifine for the vibrant shader since i get 30-45 fps while using v8 basic DOF on a server. I also wanna know that what fps will i get with this mac.
