You can basically make hay out of any seed baring grass if you wanted to. Hay made from wheat is rare, but it does happen. For once the Minecraft devs have named something correctly.

Yes, I do see your point, and I was a bit hasty in posting this, as I was merely musing. Also, I posted this to know people's opinions in it, so criticism is fine.
So, will anyone ever get back to this? I miss role-playing with you all. But since it has been almost 4 months since someone has posted, I doubt anyone will be posting here anytime soon. I had a great time while it lasted.
I just thought I'd share my thoughts on the new block, hay bale, that is coming out in 1.6.Technically, it is a straw block. Straw is made with wheat stalks, and hay is made with dry grasses. Straw is also more yellow, and hay is more green. (Trust me, I know, farm girl here.)
So, if its hay bales they are putting in the game, shouldn't they be crafted with tall grass instead of wheat and be green? Or if its supposed to be straw, why not call it straw and keep it the same?
Also, most horses don't eat straw, they eat hay. So if this is supposed to be a new horse food as well as a block, will you feed them hay or straw?
I'm not saying I hate the fact that they call them hay bales instead of straw bales. I do like the idea of having hay bales in the game, whether they are called straw or not, they will make great roofing materials.
Anyone else agree with me?
I have been playing on FishyCraft for 6 months, and it is by far my favorite server. I have tried other servers, but I always come back to FishyCraft. Fishycraft is a great server, and its tons of fun.

Evandra jumped when a man burst into the house yelling. She said "Calm down. My name is Evandra Aydelore." Evandra glanced at the woman and said " She let me in the house earlier because the sun was setting, and the monsters were starting to roam the area."
Evandra looked at the woman and said "Thank you. My name is Evandra Aydelore." Then she noticed a wounded boy, and quickly said "What happened to him? I can help, I am a healer."

Evandra was trying to decide whether or not to set up camp. It was raining, and she wondered if she was ever going to find a village or a settlement to get more supplies. She decided to keep going, hoping to find a village before it got to dangerous out. She sees a mountain in the distance and heads that way. When she gets there, she sees a the entrance to a house in the mountain (or a house on the mountain) and she quickly goes up and knocks on the door, and says "Hello is anyone there?".

Bug name: Disappearing blocks Version: 1.4.5 (I first noticed this bug in 1.3.2, and it has been happening occasionally ever since). Details:Blocks that I place before exiting the world will be gone when I come back. Say, I build a 2 story house, leave my game and come back, and the top story will be gone. Not that it just doesn't save the last step, it completely deletes them, Because when I load my game I have the leftover materials from building the top story, just not the top story(Note:The materials are not returned to my inventory, they disappear). One time it deleted half a house, and a chest with diamonds and other goodies. It also happens in LAN games when it is hosted on my world. Happens in both survivial and creative mode. System: Windows XP

I think horses would be really cool. I think that they should be wild and then you could tame them with apples or carrots, ride them, and make armor for them so that you could ride into battle.
