Or you could just wait until your mods update to 1.7.10, since that's the stable version of Forge.

Sadly not true. Forge 1.7.10 is still in development and buggy, they even warm you when you launch it.

The only "Stable" recommended version of Forge for 1.7.x is 1.7.2 Minecraft.

    http://files.minecraftforge.net/

    As for today 1.7.2-Recommended 10.12.2.1121

That's why I see no point on going to 1.7.10 (Not keeping 1.7.2) as in 1.7.10 there are not much Mods yet, and all of them are running on unstables buggy versions of Forge.

What happened with the 1.7.2 version? I was testing it for the last months waiting for a stable version, and now its just "Not supported"?

mDiyo answered this on the last page:

Vesnyx: That's not a bug that should be possible to happen. I'll look into it.

RepoDraghon: I haven't had much experience with LiteLoader. You may need to wait for a new release.

Wardrenee: 1.7.2 is gone. You won't find it again.

PkfireAlpha: Both the EX line and the 1.7.10 line have gloves and a belt that go in those slots. The mask slot I'm still deciding what to do with.

earthor1: Packet leaks were fixed in 1.7.10. 1.7.2 is not supported.

    VioletteSacrifice:

    1. Minecraft's rendering engine had a few bugs in it. The reason 1.7.4 happened was to fix those bugs.
    2. Forge for 1.7.2 was a buggy mess. Every 5 updates or so would break mods, break Forge, break the ore dictionary...
    3. 1.7.2 is 8 months old now; I do not want to support something that old

    Thanks ;)

Ok, I guess it's time to avoid wasting more time with this Mod and look for something else.
It's really sad when modders do this.

In the version for 1.7.2, how do you make it so BoP is the default world type?

    In 1.6.4 it was with

    "biome settings" {
    B:"Add Biomes To Default World"=true
    B:"Enhanced Vanilla Biomes"=true
    }

But in 1.7.2 we dont have that option on terraingen.cfg

-I'm running 1.7.2_0.14.1.8, SSP (testing out a set of mods for SMP), but can't seem to get it to go into sneak mode by default. I have to type it in each time I log in. I've tried running the saveconfig command afterwards, but still can't get it to stick. Is there something I can add to the config file to get it to load that way?

If you have NEI You can go to options and then "Data Dumps" and create "Dumps" of All Items and Blocks, that will create files in your minecraft folder /dumps with all the blocks and items names.

I have added the sneak options back in version 0.15.0

Awesome news :) Thanks a lot really ;)

    EDIT:

Good news, with version 0.15.0 the hammer config I added for the Ex-Nihilo Hammers now are working.

Bad news (Not so bad) using S:client.preferredMode=nosneak in the config file, doesn't work, it gets reseted to "pressed"
Why not so bad news? Easy fix, using S:client.preferredMode=no_sneak does work ;)

Have you tried changing the key to the sneak key (e.g. so both are on shift)

I have tried, but if I do that, then "Sneak" wont work. Is the same problem with IC2 that adds a function to "Left Control" and in 1.7 when you try using it to Run, it wont work.

Looks like 1.7 when having 1 key assigned to 2 different functions it wont work for none of them.

Ok, after trying in-game and via the .cfg file. I wonder if I'm making something wrong. I got the Crooks to work as axes, but I can't make the Hammers from Ex-Nihilo to work.

Here is the config I changed, hopefully someone can help and see what I'm doing wrong.

    # Block names to auto-mine when using a configured pickaxe. [default: 'minecraft:coal_ore,minecraft:gold_ore,minecraft:iron_ore,minecraft:diamond_ore,minecraft:lapis_ore,minecraft:emerald_ore,minecraft:quartz_ore,minecraft:redstone_ore,minecraft:lit_redstone_ore,minecraft:mossy_cobblestone,minecraft:glowstone,minecraft:obsidian,minecraft:nether_brick_fence,minecraft:cobblestone_wall']
    S:blockList.pickaxe=minecraft:coal_ore,minecraft:gold_ore,minecraft:iron_ore,minecraft:diamond_ore,minecraft:lapis_ore,minecraft:emerald_ore,minecraft:quartz_ore,minecraft:redstone_ore,minecraft:lit_redstone_ore,minecraft:mossy_cobblestone,minecraft:glowstone,minecraft:obsidian,minecraft:nether_brick_fence,minecraft:cobblestone_wall,TConstruct:GravelOre/1,TConstruct:SearedBrick/2,IC2:blockOreLead/0,IC2:blockOreTin/0,IC2:blockOreUran/0,IC2:blockOreCopper/0,minecraft:cobblestone,minecraft:gravel,minecraft:sand

    Added Cobblestone, Gravel and Sand.

    And on the picks

    # Item names to use as a pickaxe. [default 'minecraft:wooden_pickaxe,minecraft:stone_pickaxe,minecraft:golden_pickaxe,minecraft:iron_pickaxe,minecraft:diamond_pickaxe']
    S:itemList.pickaxe=exnihilo:hammer_iron,TConstruct:pickaxe,IC2:itemToolBronzePickaxe,minecraft:iron_pickaxe,minecraft:diamond_pickaxe,minecraft:wooden_pickaxe,exnihilo:hammer_wood,exnihilo:hammer_stone,exnihilo:hammer_gold,minecraft:stone_pickaxe,minecraft:golden_pickaxe,IC2:itemToolIridiumDrill,exnihilo:hammer_diamond,IC2:itemToolDrill,IC2:itemToolDDrill

The picks works on Cobblestone, Gravel and Sand, but the hammers aren't working.

Any clue if I'm missing something?

    Thanks a lot.

Something I dont like is that you changed the Vein Mine trigger. I liked being able to Vein Mine and Crouch at the same time.

Another thing I noticed, which Im not sure if it's just me or what, but on it's pure default settings for speed, being the same as the 1.6.4 version, blocks update much slower in the 1.7.2 version.

Try in-game typing "/veinminer mode sneak"

PS: I also miss the 1.6.4 options in the config, now it's only related to the Key that one assign, and you can't assign Sneak bc then in game you wont crouch.

Would it be possible to have the old configs back?

    # What mode should the client use when joining a game.
    # Valid modes: [default: pressed
    # 'disabled' = don't enable, even when keybind pressed
    # 'pressed' = enables when keybind is pressed
    # 'released' = enables when keybind is released
    S:client.preferredMode=released

I'll have to try what happens if I still write "no_sneak" and see what happens :)

The latest version (0.14.0) for 1.7 now has Veinminer Mod Support built in. 1.7 versions are now on CurseForge as well.

Thanks :) Going to check it now.

I add it the same way as a Crook and register it as a Pickaxe? (Talking about the Ex-Nihilo Hammers)

Did you change the Sieve drops for Gravel. Other than new textures (btw, Broken iron looks like Broken Aluminum now) is the drop on Broken Gold way lower?

And also, out of 2 Sand Iron Ore, I got 20 Powdered Iron Ore (most likely soemthing is broke there)

Will keep testing and report as it goes ;)

Thanks on the amazing job on this mod.

Added: Sugar Canes Seed not working when planting on sand next to water. (Haven't tried on dirt or grass)

Actually, if you're hammering at a standard cobblegen, the gravel will almost never go into the lava. It's some special magic that ex nihilo does that makes drops go to a nearby player. And for holding down the mouse button, I use joytokey with a wired xbox 360 controller. Works great. Press right, it will simulate hold right click. press left, it will simulate hold left click. Very convenient.

We should drop the idea on the autor of Automated Dispenser. His mod does "almost" what we want, the difference is that the breaker doesn't use a tool.
