Quote from Mateus
While I do agree than a majority of the player base is sticking to Europe and not using their imagination a whole lot, there is actually more out there than just Europeans. If you actually explored you might see some interesting things. There are settlers in China, Japan, Africa, and I personally live in India, along with 2 new settlers that have just moved to Sri Lanka.
While my home is not a "settlement" per se, it is quite expansive and the overall idea was to get people to settle here eventually. I live in the ruins of an anciant temple/shrine to the gods. Currently I am the only one living here (as a crazy hermit ) but I thought eventually a village could form up at the base of the temple and use it as kind of a centerpiece. There is plenty of room, and the terrain itself is quite nice, with rivers crisscrossing a jungle bordered on the north by some nice mountains. I was asked to post some pictures so here you go, The Temple of the Gods, northern India (WIP).
I would love to join you in India at the shrine! Of course when I get white-listed. But I think this is a beautiful place!
