posted a message on The terrible new sounds
I, personally, think that the new sounds are pretty cool. I wouldn't trash them just because, to you, they "don't sound like minecraft". By this do you mean that the sounds shouldn't sound realistic in the slightest? These sounds do very little to the actual gameplay, and they're just trying to add a tiny bit of realism to a game that can never become totally realistic. What else could it sound like? It's minecraft, a game of it's own class!

posted a message on [1.3.1] GLSL Shaders (DoF, Bump Mapping, Waving Wheat, Dynamic Shadows, and More!)
To themaster402's post above (a bit large to repost in this): Thank you for helping me with MagicLauncher, however, as I am probably the noobiest mod downloader and installer on the face of the planet (*facepalm*) I looked around about modloader, and I'm having trouble downloading that, or how to download and install it (if I even have to). I'm a dumbass, so please be patient with me.

Whenever I have changed the minecraft version to 1.3.1, downloaded modloader, or so I think, and popped it into the minecraft.jar file, leaving it at that, I download this mod, and place it into the Magic Launcher using your instructions. However, whenever I do this, it says: "No mods found" next to it in the list. I don't know how to activate the mod, so that I can select what I want or whatever, and I don't know why it says "no mods found" in the list. Please help me. I have no idea what I'm doing.

I've been staring at this post for an incredibly long time, posted on the wiki, and I still can't find an answer. I'm new to mods. I don't know a damn thing about them, or how to download them. I got this far: I downloaded the mod, extracted the files out of the winrar archive onto the Desktop, and installed using the INSTALLER.exe in the folder.... IDK how to "turn on" the mod, if I should put it in the "Magic Launcher" that I just downloaded, and when I do put it in the Magic Launcher it says "No mods found". I see people in the wiki asking other questions and it makes me angry that these questions are probably very simple and not worth answering because they're probably minor and obvious, and because I'm inexperienced. Please, help me. This mod looks amazing, I'd support it just by looking at this screen, but I'm dying to try it, and these small problems that occur because of my lack of knowledge are killing me. Please help.

Download links won't work. It either says 404 error not found, or doesn't load at all.
I'd like to try out the texture pack, but I can't at the moment.

Creative! And also, to the first reply, it's not supposed to be detailed. It's supposed to look like material from the game: Realm of the Mad God. Don't criticize what you don't understand. :Iron:
