    Surviving the Vanishing Isles (Beta Version)

    After taking a nap one early morning when you went fishing, you find yourself in the middle of the sea and a storm brewing over head. You manage to survive most of it, though you did lose some supplies. Now you find yourself crashed on a sand bank with the sun about to set. With no sign of life around, it's now up to you to survive.


    About

    An adventure map with sunken temples, pirate ships, and hidden chests for you to find. Survive in the Vanishing Isles by finding treasure and building your own fortress and town.

    Rules

    1. Do not cross the lapis lazuli border. If you're mining and can't see the border, just make sure you do not mine out of the ocean biome.

    2. Only use the nether portal in the hidden portal room.

    3. Play in either normal or hard mode.

    Goals

    1. Make a garden with sugar cane, pumpkin, carrot, potato, melon, and wheat.
    2. Make a farm with cows, pigs, chickens, and horses.
    3. Tame a wolf or ocelot.
    4. Build a fortress of your own device. Be as creative as you'd like.
    5. Explore caverns and ruins.
    6. Make a flower garden to display your trophy roses found in each hidden chest. There are 26 roses hidden in the map.
    7. Explore the nether and build a potions lab.
    8. Post screenshots of your accomplishments in the thread.

    Notes

    This is my first published map. I was hoping to make a map where you can search for extra treasures as well as enjoy the real vanilla minecraft experience. I would appreciate any input.

    I never played Harvest Moon, but my favourite aspect of Minecraft is the farming. I've just downloaded the map and have yet to play it (still exploring). But, I thought I should give compliments because the detail and effort put into the village is very apparent and enjoyable as a playable map!

    Also, thanks for staying true to Minecraft and keeping the emerald currency It always annoys me when there is another form of currency expected out of us!
