I never use this so my terminology might be off, sorry. My kids play it all of the time. My daughter has used Pocket Edition for ages with no issues. Today when she tried to get into one of her worlds, she gets the Generating World / Building Terrain screen (attached image) and after a few seconds, she's bounced back to the iPad apps screen. No error messages. I made sure to completely close the app running in the background and start it fresh with the same results. I backed up the iPad into my PC via iTunes (foolishly hoping her 'stuff' would be saved). I then deleted the app and reinstalled from the App Store. Same results - won't start. Oh yeah, she's ticked at me because everything she created is gone.
In further interrogating her, she said that some of the start up screen were different today. I'm guessing there was an automatic update in the last 24 hours or so and that's the problem. Unfortunately, I didn't check the update history before I removed the app.
Suggestions? It doesn't appear that Mojang actually offers any kind of support for a program they sell - they just direct me here.
