I'm looking to play single player. (Don't have Internet and I can get the game for four dollars) I was just wondering if there where any scenes of extra strong violence?
...Oh you made the other thread I responded to. Huh. xD Could you tell your parents that you can modify the game to make it so that there's blood or gore? I can help you download mods if you don't know how. Here's a couple: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/5396/? This one removes blood, re-meshes zombies, and removes some skull decorations. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/41532/? This one is a less extreme version that just gets rid of blood. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/35057/? This one also just removes blood, and also makes unclothed characters wear clothes instead of underwear. Download only one of these as there will be conflicts.
Without gore it's just a typical T-rated RPG. xD
Oh and 1.4 processing power is quite enough for Oblivion, mine was just that. My integrated graphics card was a 7310 which isn't very good either. So you should have no issues. xD
Oblivion will run on a crappy processor and a "meh" graphics card, so there's really no reason not to. Skyrim needs a lot more power, so get it on the 360 if your computer isn't so great. xD
And I'm just going to go ahead and ask if you've considered buying Minecraft:Xbox 360 Edition? xD
My computer is NOT great at all (dual-core 1.4 ghr and 4 gig of ram) Also my parents don't like me playing games with blood so I don't think Elder Scrolls will be an option.
I'm not sure if I will get minecraft Xbox 360 Edition just cause I like the pc version more. (I've played it on my cousin's Xbox 360 before)
It may help to be more specific with what you're looking for, as there were a ton of enjoyable games for the 360. What genres are you into, do you want singleplayer or multiplayer, do you want console exclusives or are multiplatform suggestions cool too?

If you get a virus douchey enough, it can be almost impossible to get it out. Some of them disable or compromise safe mode and system restore, the go-to for most people when they're trying to fix their computer. If I have to reinstall Windows, or fix it only to find half my important files gone, that would be just as bad as having to get a new PC. Especially since I would also be losing all my passwords, possibly my accounts as well.

If your that worried just get inti-virus. Once my computer had such bad viruses on it that I couldn't install Mcafee, so I bought AVG instead and that removed all the viruses.
