Whenever I see instructions for creating a server on Windows, I always see instructions on writing a startup script using batch. However, I came across PowerShell, and many say that PowerShell is objectively better than batch. Of course, I doubt that it makes a difference whether you write the script using batch or PowerShell, but for my curiosity, how can you write a startup and restart script for a server in PowerShell? Can you even write a script for a Minecraft server in PowerShell?
When I enable the pack, it overwrites my water texture with the default.
You can put your pack as priority over this one, and the water textures should work without messing with the sky (unless your pack has a different sky).
The old update (1.5) included special shaders for more realistic indoor lighting, which I loved. The new update does not appear to have that anymore. I have Optifine enabled.

I guess I'm going to stick with 1.5, then!
