I'm playing on Minecraft 1.12 and when I first installed Optifine the game was running smoothly (130-140 fps). But after closing the game and starting it again the fps is at 60.

After I login into Minecraft a loading bar appears which is frozen. The game won't respond and I have to close it with the task manager. This didn't happen before.
How do I reduce or increase the spawn rates of certain mobs? I'm playing version 6.3.1. of this mod and I wanna increase the spawn rates of aquatic mobs. The only aquatic mobs which I've seen from this mod were a few dolphins.
Also, when I installed this mod and started a new world(Minecraft 1.7.10.), some error appeared which said that some files are missing(4 or 5 files, I can't quite remember), but I was still able to play with the mod.

It's occurring again. I didn't update my Java. Could that cause it?

I think the mobs have a higher spawn rate on newly created worlds, but I may be wrong.

All we can do is wait a couple of months and Zhark will hopefully fix these bugs MoC has currently.

Anyways, since there won't be an update soon, is there a way to make aquatic mobs spawn?
