Judgemental? The poor kid probley has a ton of problems, and you get one lag spike and instantly think he is stealing stuff? Sure, hes an idiot for doing some stuff, but like you pointed out, HES A KID!
I understand that the servers are down, Im not trying to connect to them. I am allowed to download things, as stated above, I downloaded the launcher succsessfully. That is not my problem.
What do you think I did for the couple of hours letting my computer cool down?
But in all seriousness, me and a couple of my real life friends who moved away play on a server together. Its really the only place we really talk anymore, and it would be great to play with them again.
To start off this post, I am not considered a noob. I have had minecraft for several months, modded the game to the point it was unrecognizable, and been inside and out of the internal code. I am not here posting some easy problem that could be solved by reading a simple FAQ. So please do not simply post " Redownload Minecraft " or " Delete Meta-Inf ."
My problem is simply that I cannot start minecraft. The launcher is not working for me. To go in depth.
My minecraft folder is a mess. I have several .jar files for diffrent mods and different versions of minecraft. I have always known one day that the folder would be too conflicting, and eventually crash. Yesterday, I downloaded and installled the Technic Pack for Minecraft 1.8. I installed it the same way I did for other mods. Backup minecraft.jar and stored it with my other .jars, download the new mod correctly, and played it. Everything was running smoothly for quite a while. Later, my game froze. I wasn't shocked, mods have a tendency to do this. But it wasn't just my game, it was my entire computer. So I manually restarted it. Upon start up, I tried minecraft again with the Technic Pack. I changed my usual settings of Fancy, Max FPS, and everything to the max to the most basic setting possible. After an hour, my computer froze again. I then turned my computer off, and let it cool off. About 4 hours later, I started it back up. I didn't go on minecraft for fear of a crash. After a while, I tried minecraft again. My FPS was rediculous. I was getting less then 1FPS ( I honestly didn't think this was possible. ). I opened my menu, and it rose back to my usual 200FPS or so. Curious, I went back to the game and the lag returned. I opened my menu again, same high FPS. I changed my settings again, to see if this would resolve the problem. Nothing. I knew at that point I would need to uninstall my mods. I went to my minecraft folder and cleared everything that couldn't be redownloaded. Only thing left was My saves, ( I deleted my technicpack map ) texturepacks, options, serverfiles, and lastlogin. I then tried to start my minecraft launcher. It would load a few seconds, then nothing. I clicked it again, and again, nothing. I then ran it as Administrator. Nothing. I opened task manager to see if the process would even open. It didn't. I then casually redownloaded the launcher, and replaced it. Nothing again, which I found this very odd. At this point, I backed up my entire .minecraft folder, stored it else where, and deleted the orginal. I started the launcher again, and this time, it broke my speakers. After 2 hours or so, I fixed them, redownloaded the launcher again, and nothing still. I did everything I could in my power to fix my problem, and used everything in my computer knowledge to fix my issue, and nothing helped. At this point, the only thing that I think could be wrong is that I missed something really obvious, or its on Mojang's end. If you have any solution, please help me out here.
How long should I expect to wait after tweeting to get whitelisted?
EDIT, 11 hours later: I guess all night. I'm gone for most of the day today, so I guess just whitelist me whenever there's some free moment. I can't help with testing any more.
I been having the same problems. I been losing intrest in the server for a while now.

It will be the best realistic war based pvp server ever.
Suggustion thought, VC should get diamond shovels. Mining tools seem more realistic then them digging with their fists.
