    posted a message on "Feature Request Requests" New YouTube MiniSeries - Starting Soon
    "Feature Request Requests" is a new YouTube MiniSeries that I will be starting soon. It will have a Friday BiMonthly release. (Every other Friday is Minecraft Mechanics)

    On "Feature Request Requests" I will be sharing 1 thing that I would like to be added to normal Minecraft, as well as go into some detail of why I would want it there and why others may want it there.

    To follow that segment I will be adding 5-10 other feature requests from you guys. I'll be asking for submissions in the video, but since the first episode hasn't been made... I've got nothing yet.

    I would need your 'Feature Request' written well (understandable and to the point),
    Your Minecraft name - Caps specific (Brandonn is not the same as brandonn),
    And what you want your name to be in the credits (Could be your real name, no last names though, or a different nickname your prefer to go by)

    I will download your skin and read your request in a funny voice, one that I think might fit your skin.

    Everything must be family friendly.

    Yeah, fixing the biomes for that map was enough of a pain. I don't even want to think about how it felt stitching all the areas together...

    Hmm... That's weird, the bonus diamond gear is still in my copy of the map...

    Just kidding though, this map is not for babies and I'm a baby when I play it. ;) I'll give it a proper drive when it's been more polished - when it's more appropriate to do a Let's Play...

    I have 3 maps that are hard, but nowhere near as hard as some of Vechs's maps. They are also smaller... but don't expect to beat them in a few hours.

    Command Block - How can I display Score value in chat?

    Using a command block and the newest snapshot I'd like to output the value of a specific score to the chat window.

    /scoreboard players list @p works in the chat window manually, but not in the command block.

    The /say command doesn't seem to have an option to display a score value.

    In fact, I'm not even sure if there is a way! :(

    I wanted a counter that prints the time at 10 block increments, that way I'd get 10 readings over 100 blocks, and I could figure out a mean, median, mode, and range.

    The areas are mostly all the same - many just have small tweaks. There is now a proper spawning platform, you can find coal in the starting area, and the mushrooms were switched out with mushroom trees. The nether travel is gone and replaced with teleporters, so also I've added a new area, the Transport Hub. Overhaul on the first dungeon to make it less horrible (just a little). Many small tweaks to dungeon 2, dungeon 3 I just swapped out the spawners. Travel time is less in many areas.

    I also moved the islands closer so you can see them from one another, really cool effect. And I added some chunks of land beneath the islands just for decoration and to even out the natural spawns.

    And of course great names custom items with lore text. If you liked Float before, I say at least play up to the last area. I HATE THE LAST AREA ;)

    This kinda fits into the topic of map making, because I'm using the information for building my maps, there really isn't a forum category for Minecraft mechanics, or did I miss it?

    Anyway, I'm wondering is anyone knows the code that the various potions run through.

    Specifically I'm looking at Strength and Weakness right now. Level 1 of strength adds 3 points of damage (1 1/2 hearts) and each level there after doubles that value. Same thing for Weakness but it is in 2 point increments.

    I'm combining different levels of strength and weakness to get different levels of bonuses and not bonuses (negatives? Isn't there a different word for that too?)

    But I'm also curious what is applied first and how the values are calculated by the game. In game testing can only tell you so much.

    Here is a fun chart to look at for Strength vs Weakness:


    The crossed out sections are the combinations I'd never use for certain.

    I'm also very interested how the Speed and Slow potions are calculated together. I need to run more tests to see if the order on the potion effects the order of the calculations. Currently it seems like if the Speed level and the Slow lever are the same then only the slow takes effect.

Happy Love starts out in a not so scary world – filled with great equipment, pathetic enemies and an endless supply of cows. Though be warned, don’t try to progress too far unless you want to risk being thrown into another world. A world quite different. There will still be great equipment, but you’ll have to fight for it.
